It is simply a birth scar. Phoenix has said whilst being interviewed that, while pregnant with him, his mother felt a sharp pain one day, and he was born with a scar on his lip.

I just came back from the Body Shop and I bought shea butter and cocoa butter. I'd heard that they're good for stuff, so I went ahead and bought them.
My question is: what are they good for? For which part(s) of the body? Is there a specific way to apply them or something?

the cocoa butter helps with dry skin and getting moisture into the skin. it also smells great!
it works for your whole body. they have a lot of nutrients and vitamins that are really good for your skin.

Okay I didn't know what to put this under.
But sometimes I don't have my period when I should. I am 14/f.
Yes I am a virgin but sometimes it will skip a whole month and then in the middle of the next it starts. So I never really know when it's gonna happen. Sometimes I get so scared that it won't come back and something is wrong. I dont have anyone to talk to this about because I live with my dad, he has no g/f or anythign and it would be odd. if you just got your period, like within the last year, youre probably just adjusting and this is totally normal. it happened to me too the first year.
however, if youve had your period a while and it suddenly started happening, i'd go to a doctor to make sure everything's okay. - although it would be awkward to talk about this with your dad, you might want to if you don't have friends you can talk to about this stuff.
at the monthly check-ups at your doctor's office, just tell them about it. that way your dad doesn't have to get involved.

hopefully that wont interfere with my response...
it probably smells "down there" because of discharge. this is completely normal and usually happens around the time you hit puberty. when youre in the shower, completely wash out the vaginal area so it's clean. make sure you change your underwear frequently, and i HIGHLY suggest using tampons when you get your period. tampons are much more effecient because you can swim in them, they DO NOT SMELL, and you wont be embarassed in the locker room. if you feel like it's smelling, go to the bathroom and just wipe out the area. there's really nothing else you can do; if you stay clean, it won't smell.

you can go to www.artistdirect.com and search for a band and then look at the similar bands. this includes similarities in genres, general sound of music, etc.
there's a LOT listed, so you should definitely listen to all of them to see what you like. (you can preview songs)
it would be more effecient than me listing all the songs and you giong to limewire or something and downloading all of them and realizing you only like one.

Latly my bf has been driving me nuts with anything he does. It could be as simple as him rubbing my arm or my leg. I'm at the verge of wanting to break up with him because it's making me crazy. I'm thinking the problem is that we spend way too much time together and that I need a break from him. (Not an actual break, just spend less time together) Or it could be something else. I'm pretty sure that's what's wrong though. I don't know how to explain to him that we need to have space from each other because he'll never understand. I already tried telling him that he should hangout with other people when he can't see me and he took that the wrong way. I don't want to hurt his feelings but I can't take it any longer. but there are two choices you have that i can think of:
- to tell him how you feel. i mean being boyfriend/girlfriend is supposed to mean you have honesty and trustworthiness, right? maybe you should tell him the truth. BUT he might get really pissed off and it will get ugly. if he's a good boyfriend, he'll understand and respect your decision. he may also think youre trying to break up with him, so you must explain that you just need space cause of some things he's been doing lately.
- to just... subtly create some space. if he wants to hang out, just say youre busy this weekend. however this will only work for one or two times before he gets suspicious. hang out for a few hours and then just go back home or do somethign else. that way, space is created and you don't have to worry about him driving you crazy. and also, he won't know exactly how you felt so things will pass quickly if you do this. :]

if youre a girl, the venus ones last until the blue strip on top comes completely off, which is a few weeks to a month.
i'd play it safe and dispose of it every two to three weeks to avoid a dull blade a nicks (sp?)

okay, well the first thing is: are you SURE you want to tell him? the LAST thing you want is to tell him and realize it was a HUGE mistake!
if you are POSITIVE you want to tell him, then don't be shy! you have to try to be outgoing so that he doesn't take the hint too early. be flirty. laugh a lot, smile and make lots of eye contact (but don't overdo it; remember: you want to flirt, not to like... attack! haha)
then, when you guys are good friends, you should IM him and be like 'hey have to tell you something..." and make MAKE make sure that he doesn't like leave in the middle of the conversation like "oh i have to go, my mom wants me to clean my room" or something. you should keep your cool and be direct. just tell him how you feel. if he say he doesn't feel the same way, move on. don't keep bothering him / talking to him etc. unless he says hi to you, cause thats when you know everything is cool.
don't be scared! you dont want to be nervous around him. you have to be yourself :]

if you still really like him, i'd say hi to him or ask him what's up to make sure you guys are cool before asking him to the dance. he may say no again and then (maybe) not really like you that much and want to stop being friends with you. you dont want to seem "obsessive" so if he doesn't say hi back or go out of his way to talk to you, i'd move on and ask someone else to the dance ( or just not go if youre really upset : / )
he COULD like you, but if he did why would he say no when you asked him out? he could have just been really scared / nervous, so i'd definitely go with saying hi to him and seeing how he reacts, cause he could have definnitely regretted saying no to you and then thinking "oh gosh, i really DID like her!"

with friends: movies, mall, if you get sick of doing that stuff (i know i have) i just chill out at home and play board games or twister, games like that. if it's only with girls, do manicures and facials! that's always fun. with guys, ask them what they wanna do before you decide so they're not bored out of their minds.
another fun thing to do is just make food! like brownies, cookies, they're SO easy to make and it's so much fun. surprisingly enough, video games (like ps2, xbox, etc.) are pretty fun and your guyfriends won't be really bored

personally, what i do to get over a guy is to just like someone else. i know that may not be possible for you considering you really really like him, but just look at other people and try not to think about him so much.. i know that seems pretty "easier said than done" but there's really no other way to get over a guy except not to think about him so much.
if he's not in a bunch of your classes, you have it easy. but if he's in like every class, just act like you dont like him. and tell yourself that he's really not worth it cause he has a girlfriend now.

okay well first of all, you should definitely drink some water cause you are probably extremely dehydrated.
when i get hungry after not eating a long time, i eat some fruit because they have a lot of nutrients and aren't that fattening (they're more good for you than fatty)
if you want to lose weight and that's why you are starving yourself, i hope you realize that by starving yourself, your body goes into "emergency starvation" mode and therefore when you eat, it turns right to fat to store in your body. < that's why you should eat fruit.
the best way to lose weight it to snack snack snack. don't eat three meals, eat 6 snacks of fruit or veggies and drink lots and lots of water

1.) there are many signs, but a dead give away is when when you guys are talking, he looks at your lips AND/OR blushes. < if he does that, he definitely digs you, or thinks youre hot
2.) the second one, when he smiles at you slightly when he sees you looking at him, is definitely a sign. he could definitely like you! i'm not so sure about the third one though; it could mean he thinks you like him and is only flirting back.
do you like him? have you told ANYONE that you even think he's hot or like him? he could have found out that you like him / think he's hot and likes you back / thinks youre hot back.

Get over it. Love shouldn't be waisted. He's grown, married, and more mature than you are. You are young. It's difficult to move on, but you have to. Your being too gullible and your falling into pit falls. STOP. Move on! You don't need to love him. It's wrong. You need to stop. Your young...love is only a minor thing that should be on your mind now. You don't need to be married or loving a man at this moment. You can have a boyfriend but not loving. My advice to you is LEAVE HIM ALONE!. He has children for crying out loud! If you were a parent, would you like your daughter crushing on her teacher? NO! Your 19...relax. [ i am a girl ] okay. i have this one friend names katlyn who cheers with me, and she was literally my best friend. we were insepperatable..but then one day i was over at my other friend kelley's house..and i was talking to katlyn on AIM. kelley said she thought katlyn was hilarious..so she asked for her screen name..i gave it to her. a couple weeks later kelley said she wanted to meet katlyn..and i said sure..no big deal right? so all three of us plan a sleepover last august. after the sleepover, kelley and katlyn talked a lot, but katlyn always assured me she didnt like kelley..or so i thought. months later, me and katlyn went through some friendship problems. it was bad. and during it kelley and katlyn got extremely close..until they planned a sleepover..WITHOUT me. and ever since that day i look at them differently. they put me through a lot of pain.. and now, we finally got it all worked out and we planned an "all three of us" sleepover..but kelley and katlyn also planned something just with them..the night before. i dont know what to do..i guess the only reason i feel soo weird about all this is that if it wasnt for me, kelley and katlyn would have no connection.. how should i handle this? and how can i help forgive them? sorry this is long..but i need the advice..im desperate.

This happened to me a few years ago when I was young. It's difficult to seperate two friends and being the one left behind. If you and Katlyn were inseperable, Katyln should understand you. Call her over for a sleepover just with you and her. If Kelley and Katyln can have a sleepover with you, you can have one with Kelley. At the sleepover, talk to her and how you feel. Let your feelings out! Don't be scared. A good friend understand your feelings but a best friend will be with you all the way from beginning to end. If you were her best friend, just tell her how you feel. You don't have to consider that you hate Kelley because you probably don't. She just don't like her because she took your friend. A group of 3 is difficult to cope with. Friends going on sides and leaving one behind always. Get a new friend and also reunite with Katyln if possible if Katlyn is hanging with Kelley, you have someone else to be with . Hoped I helped!
