So my bio teacher was telling us about pheromones and she said they attract the opposite gender for a certain reason, and that some come in perfume forms.

Do you know of any perfumes containing pheromones ?

Paris Hilton's perfume contains pheromones. The first one she made; I think it's just called Paris Hilton. It smells pretty good to me!!

Am I the only one alive who thinks it's terrible that kids (13-16) are having sex? I'm only 18, but when I was 13, I was riding my bike and doing karate, not giving blowjobs on the school bus. But thats the norm now, and if you haven't had sex by the time you're 17, you must be ugly or way religeous. What on earth!? Am I the only one disgusted by this trend?

Absolutely agree with you on this one. God, by the time I'm 30 kids as young as 5 are gonna be having sex!!! I'm from Australia and the legal age here is 16, unlike in th US where I believe it is 18. I'm 16 and I think at that age if you feel as though you are aware of the consequences and how to keep safe etc. then I'd say it'd be okay. Anything under that age I disagree with. I'm absolutley AMAZED how many 13 year olds are asking questions if we think they could be pregnant or have and STD, its pretty sick. I mean, they obviously haven't taken appropriate measures for their own safety and sanity. I could go on..... but i'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks this!!

Do guys dig chicks with glasses? I need to get glasses I think, and I'm already short, fat, and kind of ugly. Now I need glasses. Now will the boys think I am uglier than before?

Everyone is beautiful, no matter what, both inside and out so don't even think for a second that you aren't! I'm short for my age; I'm 16 but I'm like the height of a 12 year old, haha. But I love it now. That's what makes us special.

Glasses are actually really kewl right now. Heaps of celebs are wearing them too. Not all glasses are the same; when you go to the optometrist (or wherever you will buy your glasses) they will help you choose which type of frame will best suit your face. Then you get to choose from a wide range of awesome colours, shapes etc. You can get sunglasses which are prescription also and glasses that change to sunnies when you go outside in a different light! How cool is that?!

My boyfriend's little sis wears glasses for reading and stuff and when she puts them on she looks sooo cute. So don't worry they can actually make you look better! haha.

There is this guy I had HUGE crash on, recently kissed me(by the fact he kissed me, I thought he somehow likes me). But for some reasons we didn't see each other since. (for about 4 months) I finally put in all my courage to asked him out early this week. He said yes, and we even pick a place and time to meet already.
In the morning of date we suppose to go out, he called and cancelled it. No reason really given.

What does this mean?

It could be for a number of reasons. Maybe he's shy around you. Or maybe he's only playing along; it would be a shame if he was. The only way you can really tell is if you talk to him. Talking always sorts things out, you've gotta let him open up to you and let you know how he feels - and you aswell. Just ask him if he's okay around you and if there is anything he wants to talk to you about. If he's a nice guy I'm sure it'll all work out.

My bestfriends birthday is coming up in about a month, but i want to do something really special for her.Shes always saying that how she does stuff for other people but she didnt get anything for her past 2 birthdays. Which is true, so i want to do something that she would love. For my other best friend we went out to lunch and then had a sleep over. I want to do something like that.

A little info: she likes photography, is from hawaii,shes kind of a laid back skater type of person, but she doesnt skatebroard that much and is 15/f.thank you for your help

That sounds like you guys are really close and have a special friendship. Throwing a suprise party is always a great way to give someone a special birthday they'll never forget. You could make a video for her and give her a special message or you if you're into the crafty stuff you could make a scrapbook and decorate it really nicely and put in there tickets from concerts you went to, photo's of you guys, and write in special memories that you two had together; like how you met or something like that. I always like handmade presents because it means the person who made it has taken a lot of thought and effort for making it for YOU! It may take a little time but it's for a best friend, right?! I had a look on Google and wow, there were so many sites you could go to I can't list them all here. Just type in 'best friend birthday ideas' and have a look at the list. There's quite a few!

Your friends are your FRIENDS!!! They will take your opinion and you guys are there for each other to share. If you suggest something they won't just put you down and tell you you're an idiot! Ok so in my english class we have to present a speech thats 2 minutes long... I know I know, its not that long..... but when it comes to presentations and speeches i get sooooooooo nervous!!!!!!!!!! ANY TIPS ON HOW TO CONQUER THIS FEAR??????? please and thank you.

When I was younger I was exactly the same. Really nervous beforehand and my voice was very quiet when I actually gave the speech...kinda embarrassing, I know. I'd reccommend asking your mom and dad, maybe siblings too, if they'd hear you out with your speech. Read it to them a few times and after you feel comfortable then maybe ask a group of your friends if they could listen to you aswell. After that try a larger group of people that you don't know very well. It's all about feeling comfortable in different surroundings with different people. Some people find it's better to give a speech sitting down rather than standing up so you are more relaxed and it is comforting for them to have support when everyone else is staring at you. Breathe deeply before you are going to make your speech, try to calm yourself.
The most important thing to remember is that everyone else will be worried about how their speech will go aswell. They more than likely are going to be so worried about themselves that they won't even notice about you. Just like you won't be noticing them, you've been worried about yourself!

K this is a serious question but my periods ALWAYS beeen messed up but like 2 monthes ago i slept with this guy and he asked me if i was on birth controll and i said no .. and he didnt wear a condom .. but he pulled out in time .. and he said he even did .. but i havnt yet got my period and im a little freaked out weather im pregnant or not .. and I dont have money to buy a pregnancy test ? .. do you think im pregnant just from those sings and is it possible that i could be pregnant if he pulled out but he still wasnt wearing a condom ??? please help me ASAP????

The withdrawl method is absolutley unreliable!! I don't know how many people do this but no wonder so many kids get pregnant these days! Ok, chances are you could be pregnant, you should always use protection, because precum CAN get you pregnant. A lot of girls don't get their period when they're stressed so maybe you're just so worried about it which is making you late. Pregnancy tests aren't that expensive you can buy them from your local chemist and I'd strongly recommend you buy one. I'm sure you'll now realise how important protection is...and next time please type properly.

I think this is a beautiful idea. I'm so sorry about your uncle. I've had a look on Google and the info I found isn't really too helpful. There seems to be a Saint Erica (also spelt Saint Erika) but I'm not too sure about it. I'll keep looking for a list for you and see if I come up with anything else. Maybe you could have a chat to your teacher or whoever is organising the confirmation and they could get a list or find out for you. When I was going to do mine we were given a huge list of names.

If you used protection and he didn't cum (Yes, it's C-U-M, not C-O-M-E!!!! How old are you?!) then it's a really, really low chance that you are pregnant. Most girls find if they are stressed they'll get a late period so I'd say you're just worried which is making you late. I don't believe in abortion, please don't ever consider it.

If you're doubting it means you really aren't ready. I know a lot of people lose their virginity at a younger age but I'm sure many regret it. Waiting til your older and trully ready really isn't big deal, I'm sure your boyfriend will understand. And if your worried that you'll be betraying your mother then that's even better reason to wait until your sure you're ready.

Ok, awesome. Thanks for leaving that in my inbox. From what info I've got here you should be burning around 2012 calories / 8051 kj for 2 hours of moderate intensity badminton. Obviously if you work at a heavier intensity you'll burn more or at a lighter intensity you'll burn less. I've just calculated this for moderate. Hi there. I'd like to know what the safest place to buy music is. I like iTunes a lot, but find that it would be more convinent if I found a place to buy unlimited music and pay only a year's subscription. Does anybody know of any that are reliable and worth it? I mean theres Napster and plenty others, but I've looked up some like customer feedback to see if its worth it and havn't found any. So is there any way I could find out how reliable Napster (or any other) company music place is? Does anybody have any personal experiences? Thanks.

I use LimeWire which I find pretty good. It's "sharing" files which is great because it's totally free and I find it reliable. It's safe and will always tell you if you are downloading a corrupted file which I like. Napster review sites should tell you what others who have used it think but i personally would suggest LimeWire is the way to go.

if you copy a cd that skips onto another cd will it still skip?

I've had a few skipping CD's copied for me by friends and they are playing fine. I find that some CD players cause perfectly fine CD's to skip as well so try playing them in other CD players before you go and copy a new one.
