May I suggest living in Staten Island to you? It's one of the 5 buros. You probably view the city as just Manhattan, however, there are other parts of it.

I used to live in Staten Island, and I had the most amazing view of the New York city skyline from my house. You could also try living in Brooklyn. Some parts are quite nice.

If you want an appartment actually in Manhattan get ready to drop down thousands of dollars a month. It ain't cheap. As I said, try looking into the other buros. Much cheaper.

You can be a loser and do what I did the last time I was in a hotel, which was yesterday: look for people of the opposite gender to talk to.

Seriously though, look for someone to talk to. You never know who you'll meet.

If you'd rather not talk to random strangers, look to see what specialties they offer to hotel members. Do they have pool? An excersise room? A spa? Utilize those things.

Okay so my skin is pretty fair. I'm mostly irish. However, I do tan a little bit. I know this is hard to judge, but how long do you think I could stay out in the sun without being burnt, because I want some color, but I am terrified of getting burnt again. The first time I went out this year, I was out for 3 hours straight and got a wicked bad sunburn.

I know its really hard to judge, so I appreciate any answers.

About half an hour to an hour if you don't want to reapply sunscreen. I do stress though that you wear some before you go out because I wish someone could go back in time and tell my aunt that or she would still be with me today. Be careful of the sun. I have the same skin type as you and am currently nursing a bad sunburn.

Confidence. If you accept who you are they will accept you. Walk with your head held high and never let them see you sweat. Love who you are because you are beautiful.

Okay.. Im not having a baby and im not planning on having one im just wondering who belives in abortion. I've asked and people have said it *depend* well then what makes it right and what makes it murder? Like if you were raped.. or something in general **forced** in my opinion makes abortion look like a way out which should be tooken. There are only two circumstances in which I find abortion exceptable: rape or if the mother's life is at risk.

And though the dictionary definition doesn't include it, one of the worst things that can possibly happen to a woman. Reading stories about rape literally give me the chills sometimes. Imagine the highest display of affection be forced upon you. Almost automatically, you are mentally unstable. And to add a pregnancy ontop of that? Horrid. The girl obviously did not want to get raped, so the pregnancy is not her fault. Furthermore, the man could have all sorts of STDs and diseases that would now be passed down to her baby.

Now for the mother's life in danger.
Obviously, if you have sex at age 12, you are one gigantic assfuck. That may be rude an judgemental, but seriously, it's stupid. Espically because most 12 year olds cannot handle birth if they should get pregnant. They simply aren't strong enough. Moreover, there are many other circumstances in which the mother would not survive labor. And in many cases, when the mother doesn't survive, the child doesn't either. Therefore, an abortion would be saving at least one life.

ok here are the details:
im thirteen and will be fourteen in november
im normal, not anorexically skinny.
i skip a meal every now and then though, but only because i wasn't hungry
but im not anorexic.
i mostly over eat :]
but anyway, the problem:
i got my first period in march; and it lasted for a week.
its been five months, i havent changed anything about my health or my diet, and i havent gotten it since. i havent told my mom, because im hoping it will just come back.
im kind of worried, is this normal?

This is very normal. When a girl first gets her period it's irregular. For several monthes, even a year, she might not get it again. You're fine.
