MAK answered Thursday August 9 2007, 7:15 pm: Yes, you can still kiss your boyfriend. Just make sure you don't press your teeth against his lips by accident becuase you might cut him. Just warn him about your braces in general, so he won't be surprised. But the chances of anything bad happening are very slim, unless he wears braces, too. If he does, then just make sure the braces don't touch each other because you might get caught. It happened to my friend once and she and her boyfriend had to get unstuck by his dad. Amazingly they are still going out.
But I don't want to scare you or anything. Just don't worry about it, after the first kiss you'll be a lot more comfortable kissing with braces. [ MAK's advice column | Ask MAK A Question ]
phatdopelove answered Thursday August 9 2007, 4:26 pm: Yes you can. The kissing with braces and it getting caught in his mouth is a total myth.
I had braces myself, and made out with a guy.
It does not interfere with kissing at all.
So put on some lip gloss and pucker up for a kiss! :) Hope I helped. [ phatdopelove's advice column | Ask phatdopelove A Question ]
