ok here are the details:
im thirteen and will be fourteen in november
im normal, not anorexically skinny.
i skip a meal every now and then though, but only because i wasn't hungry
but im not anorexic.
i mostly over eat :]
but anyway, the problem:
i got my first period in march; and it lasted for a week.
its been five months, i havent changed anything about my health or my diet, and i havent gotten it since. i havent told my mom, because im hoping it will just come back.
im kind of worried, is this normal?
what do i do?

yourrtrustyhelpline answered Wednesday August 8 2007, 9:06 pm: well, i wouldn't worry about it. it happens sometimes. you're young, and you just started getting it. mine took about 3 or 4 years to regulate. if you're worried, just talk to your mom about it, but i wouldn't worry about it. yesiliketobeme answered Wednesday August 8 2007, 9:05 pm: actually its very normal for periods to be irregular for young women. are you sexually active? is there a chance you could be pregnant? either way if you arent sexually active or are you should tell your mom to make you a doctors appointment just to make sure.
hope i could help. [ yesiliketobeme's advice column | Ask yesiliketobeme A Question ]
