Well my brother Blake died almost 8months ago. He was only 24 and thats wats the worst part of it. My brother was really well liked and always smiling. He was good looking and was always teasing me. Now that he is gone I find myself crying over things that make no since. Im' in more fights with my parents and everybody keeps saying Ive changed. Well There has also been alot of memorials for him and i don't want to go to em and all my parents can say is your so selfish. I don't wanna go cuz it hurts so bad. I tell them that tooo. Wat should I do to keep them from thinking I'm selfish? (link)

I know it may hurt to go but go to at least one because if you don't go to any you might regret it later on in your life just like I still do. When my great grandfather died I never went to his funeral or anything and I regret it so much now.
Tell your parents the reason that you do not want to go but please do go to one.

what is the best kind of straightener?
ive had 2 different brands and both of them have at some point stopped heating up (the light goes on, so i know the power is on)
the first kind i had was a ceramic tools and the second was a vidal sassoon.
any ideas why they keep dying on me? and suggestions for a good ceramic straightener? (link)

I use Ceremic Technology from Conair. It works really well for me considering I have really wavy/curly hair.

I kind of had the same problem but the advice i'm going to give you, you have probably heard before. There isn't much you could do except get used to it by talking to guys more and more. It has worked for me.
You have to have confidence in your self.
Just make small talk with them and what really helped me was talking to a guy that could actually keep a conversation going with out it being so awkward when there is silence.
You have to be comfortable around them if your not then it's going to be very awkward.

hey,, ok well um.... i Rlly lik this kid named Jon and me and him were going out in the summer but then he broke up with me because suposivley her said that alot of people and his really close friends were telling him i was cheating on him but i wasnt, but i still really lik him and its been like 3 or 4 months since we broke up, people have been telling me to get over him but
i try and its so hard because at some points it seems he still likes me because just 2 days ago me and him were alone i was asking him to tell me were something was and he was lik no no no and then i said "what would it take for you to tel me?" and he thought and said a kiss and i said "wouldn't you want a girl you like to do that?" and he said "well how do you kno if i like you or i dont?" and i just dropped it there.. and when we were hanging out we were together for lik almost 2 hrs and we weer kissing and stuff but then the next day at school he barely pays attention to me... im so0 confused. I think that he may still have feelings for you and the reason he might ignore you at school is because he doesn't want people to be all over him telling him that it is bad idea to go out with you because they think you cheated.
Ask him why he ignores you at school and tell him how you feel about that.

I need major help , im 15 f dc and i'm just
confused about my love life. My boyfriend told me that he loves me but now i don't think he means it. The reason why is because i haven't talked him in about 7 weeks. i talked him like twice and all he had to say was whats up and then he would leave out of nowhere with out saying goodbye or what not. It's starting to get fustrating. He didn't tell me he was going on vacation or anything and when ever i try to talk to him its like he has nothing to say. Now im really wondering if he has another girlfriend or something ... i mean could it be true or what?

There are a few things I could think of:
When your boyfriend told you he loved you he might have really meant it but doesn't know where to go from now.
When he told you he loved he might have thought he really did then later realized he wasn't ready to tell you he loved you yet.
He might want to take a break from this relationship.
He might have other things going on right now.
Talk to your boyfriend that is the best way to really know what is going on.

ok my friend is starting to break away from me because of her boyfriend! she pays way to much attention to him and barely any to me! for example i went to six flags and me and two of my other friends were going to meet her there and when we saw her we were like "hey anna!" and she barely waved and ran off to get in line for a ride...then we went to the same ride and saw them in line and her boyfriend waved at us and i waved and looked away and then he whispered something to anna and she looked back at us and starting laughing with her boyfriend and made a rude face! i really want to be her friend but she acts like she doesnt care for me and when i try to be her friend and tell her how i feel she is just like "ok" and thats all and she doesnt do anything about it!! i really dont like it because we have been friends for the longest time. she also is boy crazy and doesnt pay attention to me and im worried we she gets older and is in highschool she might get pregnant or do something even worse...please help!

Hey hun usually this happens to alot of people who are friends with some one who is in a relationship. But one thing friends have to remember is that guys do not come first, friends do.
Guys come and go and will break your heart but a friend will always be there for you to have a shoulder to cry on.
But when some one is in a new relationship they want to spend as much time as possible with the other person and that is what your friend is doing but also
what your friend is doing to you is not right and the fact that she doesn't even listen and just says "ok" shows that she does not care.
Just because she is boy crazy does not really mean that she will get pregnant in high school.
I would not want to have a friend who does not care about my feelings, does not pay any attention to me, and laughs at me with her boyfriend but that is just me. If you really want to be her friend then you really need to talk to her one on one.
You could also try ignoring her for a week and see if she comes running to you. If she doesn't then that just proves that she could care less.

okay...this may seem strange but it feels like all my friends are turning on me...I had my 13th birthday party on sunday and invited 20 of my clostest firends to my house and well sunday came and only 12 showed up...these ppl i know have to be my rly clostest firends but here are the reasons for why most of them couldnt come

Hate to break it to you but you are right.
You have to talk to them mention how you guys had no homework and they should not lie to you like that.
Wow that is so messed up what they did. They can't just treat you like dirt at least real friends wouldn't. That is why you always have to choose your friends carefully because the least ones you expect to screw you over will do it.

I have a big problem. See, I slow danced with this kid at this party. I mean it was no big deal, and it wasn't even for the whole song. I was the only girl he danced with. Then there's a friend of mine. She's a REALLY good friend of mine. She likes this kid so much. She told me that she was mad at this girl for going out with him, and was talking about how she was soo mad at her. I felt really guilty after dancing with him. At my school, technically if you're not going out with someone, than it would be stupid to be mad at people for dancing with them, hugging them, etc. But I still feel really bad. Was it wrong of me to dance with the kid? My friend doesn't know, and I have the feeling that she won't pick a fight with me, but she might be upset with me. Please help!! (link)

There was nothing wrong with dancing with the kid. It was just as friends. If you really feel guilty about this which you shouldn't because you did nothing wrong at all, then tell your friend and if she gets upset with you thats her problem. She shoudln't stress herself out like this. She just feels jealous of the girl.

Well in a way it is and in a way it's not.
You can like be friends with him and chill with him sometimes but going out with him is not the right way to go because he is going to turn 18 and if you guys go out and he tries to do something then he could go to jail.
But if he's just being nice and friendly in a friend way then no there is nothing wrong with that

As far as I know you stop growing around 21 the latest.
I'm only 4'11 or 5'0 myself and I am 14.
Don't worry you are only 13 you have plenty of time left to grow.
You may also try taking vitamins and drink plenty of milk.
I drank so much milk in seventh grade like 10 cups in one day and honestly it did not help much but it may for you, you never know.

Sorry, this is something of a long story, bear with me...
To cut a very long story into a long one, one day in Maths I was tired and didn't have a lot to say. My best friend took it that I was ignoring her (I would speak if she spoke to me though) and decided to ignore me for the next week. Things were a little iffy the next time I had Maths with her (a week later) as I had started to realise she was being off towards me. I was tired again though, and would happily have spoken to her if she spoke to me but she never bothered, and so nor did I. When she had been ignoring me for a week, why should I? I was still talking to her over MSN later in the day (although she barely replied) so I don't know why she thought I was ignoring her.
After that 2nd Maths lesson, though, she made it incredibly clear that she wanted nothing to do with me. She was supposed to be coming to my 16th but instead organised a party herself on the same day and asked a bunch of my friends so they couldn't come to mine. She never bothered to tell me about this - I found out through other people. As far as I was concerned, she could have still been coming to my party as she had never actually said she wasn't going to! It was really rude if I'm honest and it upset me a lot.
So one night I told her over MSN that I assumed she wasn't coming to my party anymore as she was now having her own. She basically accused me of ignoring her for three weeks and acting like I 'didn't want her there' whenever I did speak to her - when she was the one who hadn't started up a convo with me for over a month! Once she started ignoring me, I realised I was the one putting all the effort into this friendship and, true to form, I ended up apologising for ignoring her when I hadn't just to get our friendship back. She didn't apologise at all to me and actually went off to watch TV in the middle of the convo, not to mention calling me a geek about five minutes after she deemed I had grovelled enough! Yes, I was a doormat, but I really liked her as a friend and missed her. At that point I would have done anything to get her friendship back.
The next day was Maths again and she sat with other people.
Needless to say, I was very hurt and asked her why later on. I got back 'I dunno, I told *name* I would sit with her'. I still kept convos going on over MSN and smiled at her in school at stuff but she's gradually been ignoring me more and more once again.
The next Maths lesson (isn't it funny how it all seems to revolve around Math?), a girl called Nic was moved over to my friend's new table for talking. Nic is in my Drama class and later called me over to ask if me and my friend were mates. I told her we had fought a bit but made friends about a week ago. Nic told me that that wasn't what my 'friend' had being saying in Maths that day.
I just need to point out that Nic must be telling the truth because *name*, who I mentioned earlier and who sits on that table, looked very awkward when I asked her what was said and replied 'she was just saying what you said to Nic, but more complicated.' Which means she was bitching about me. Nic also would have no way of knowing about me and my friend falling out if my friend hadn't said something herself.
This has really upset me! She is supposed to be my friend. I want to know what she was saying and why she was saying it. As I only sit a table away, I'm simply considering saying 'Oh btw what were you saying about me in Maths?' as it's quite plausable that I could have overheard her. My question is: what do you think I should say to her? Should I say anything or just forget it? Is it really worth forgetting when she was so lovely before all this? And what happens if she denies ever saying anything? I don't want to drag Nic into it because I don't want her to get in trouble for spreading stuff.

Hey there, Sit down with your friend privately and tell her how you feel about this whole thing, how it upsets you that you two are fighting.
Explain to her that you were not trying to ignore her. Tell her everything you have to say and ask her what she has been saying about you.
If she still acts the way she does now then I say let it go. If she does not want to be friends or talk to you and you tried being reasonable with her then there isn't much you could do.

What do you think should be the curfew for a 15 year old girl? I'm asking this because I'm going to the movies with my guy friend and my parents want me home at 10pm. I'm a very trustworthy person and I WON'T have sex with him, that's for sure. He's only a friend. I'm kinda pissed about this because I want to stay out later, but they're strict & say only 10pm. In my opinion since you are a trustworty person and if your parents see you as a responsible child and young adult then i would say 11pm is pretty reasonable.

If you are not used to stretching out and all those types of workouts for your legs you better start now because you are going to be soar after believe me.
It's not that easy as it looks.
You have to put in so much effort into cheerleading.
They workout with you before tryouts/practices.
