im known to be dumb like acting stupid but we all have our "dumb" moments. Anyways im not good at spanish at all and my "bestfriend" is and so is everyone else at my table in class. Anyways they always think of me as the stupid one and it doesnt bother me usually cause i know there joking. But now we are doing a project in spanish about honduras cultures and im like what do you want me to do? they are like nothing nadine im like fine then dont whine if you say you guys did all the work. Then i went to the library and i thought it would be cool to grab song information on honduras so i could at least be doing something and there like NO THEY WONT HELP YOU ITS PROBABLY A STUPID BOOK and then they got all the information using my book and then there like ok you can print out pictures and so will mike( kid working in our group ) im like why two people we have so much else to do? and there like because you wont do it im like what the heck i will do my own project give me my book and all the information and there all arguing blaming me and calling me stupid

i feel like EXTREMELY horrible//sad//and upset and there like supposed to be my friends and ive known this girl since 2nd grade! i mean thats so mean. i told them to stop calling me stupid but they wont take me seriously

How can i make them take me seriously im like crying. If only you know how this feels. NO ONE thinks im smart and everytime i try to prove them wrong it ends up going worse! and now i cant even find stupid pictures on honduras cultures/food//clothes/natural attractions and im starting to really believe im stupid!

It's okay to feel the way you do. But as long as you know you're smart, it doesn't matter. I have some dumb moments too, so don't feel bad that no one takes you seriously. You're not really alone. My friends/family basically tell me not to talk cause I'm bound to make an idiot of myself when I speak. But I just deal because I know that nothing I say will change their minds. I mean, my usual solution to this would be to stop hanging out with them, but since you're doing a project together, finish the project. And then when the project is done, find some friends who will love you for you. Dumb moments & all. =)

Im 14/f and he is 15/m

Well, lately My boyfriend and i haven't had anything to talk about on the phone. It seems like we have drifted apart. We have been going out for 5 months and 9 days. I love him, but im not in love with him. He has a low self esteem and thats a major turn off for me. Just because me and him are so different. But, i dont know what happened? I mean this just started getting this way. And we fight constantly about the most stupid things ever. And every little thing he does annoys me like crazy. And he'll get mad over little stuff. And to be honest he acts like a girl. Always whining and getting upset about something. I dont want our relationship to end, but in a way i do. But for now since i am in doubt, i thought i would just get advice to see what people think about this. And i guess i kinda just dont want to hurt him anymore.

Talk to him about it. Most of your problems can possibly be fixed. But if you don't feel the same way about him from what you used to, then end it now or he'll really get hurt.

Okay well i have bronchitus (sp?) and my doctor prescribed me with an albuterol inhaler. But it makes me cough soooooo much, and it hurts so bad because of my sore throat. Does anyone have any advice?

Try & take some cough drops. They sooth your throat with medicine, and they taste good. And don't use your voice too much. If you stress your voice box and your vocal cords, it'll hurt & you'll heal slower. =)

how to send a song through an email attachment

It's basically the same as attaching a word document of some sort. Even pictures.

All you do is click attach file, and then go to My Music, and select the song. Sending the e-mail may take longer since the file is bigger, but it should work.

I, 16/m, should probably tell you now I'm gay or you lose the entire premise of this. okay, so It was New Year's Eve and I called one of my friends (we'll call him Jake for further analysis.) Jake, 14/m, and we started talking. Jake's an eighth grader and I'm a high school sophmore. So I told him that I liked him on New Year's, thinking that he didnt like me back. Well, he did. So we dated for the next week and then I answered the phone and he told me, "your not gonna like this," and I mean, I got pretty scared. Well, then he said, "I gotta go, I'll ttyl," and then right before he hung up, he goes, "I'm straight."

So Im thinking okay, I need to talk to him and see if our friendship is still okay. So I call him back a day later and I told him I'd like to talk about it, and he says, "I dont have any thing else to say." and I got pissed and hung up.
Plus Jake's older brother is a Senior at my school and really popular in the theater dept. like I hope to be. So I got really scared that his brother might find out and just told a few of my friends.

Well, literally, two months passed without me seeing him, and then I went to my schools spring musical and he was there I talked to him during intermission and he still said he didnt know his sexuality. I told him that I thought I deserved an explanation. He said I did, but someone interupted us, and I never got one.

Right as we were going back to our seats I told him that I was over him and that I wanted him out of my life.

I cried through the entire second act, as I was driven home, as I went to sleep, and two days later.

I dont know what to do. I don't want to love him, and he doesnt deserve it, but I do. Please help me. What should I do?

It's easy to feel these feelings. You got lead on by a guy you thought liked you. You deserve to be mad at him, and he deserves none of your love.

If he didn't know his sexuaility, he should've never hooked up with you, or even told you he liked you. So leading you on was a big mistake. Next time you hook up with someone, make sure they're absolutely positive of their sexuaility, and that you're what they really want because if not, then what's the point? You're just gonna get hurt.

Even though you dated for such a short period of time, I believe you really liked him. So, getting over him will take time. No matter how long it'll take [more than months, cause you're past that point], it'll heal. I know there's nothing worse than heartbreak, but you can't be too trusting.

Try & focus your time on other things. Try for the theatre for your school for next year. Maybe do a spring sport? Do anything. Paint, draw, write, try music. Anything to take your focus off of him. I think it's best you guys go without literally seeing each other for a while that way you both have time to think. He'll be questioning himself for a while since he is 14. He probably won't know his sexuality for sure for a while, so try & date around until he comes around. Only wait for him if you want to, but I believe if someone hurts you once, they'll probably do it again.

I DESPERATELY NEED ABS! can anyone give me advice on getting abs eg. how many times do i need to do sit ups each day and how many times is too much? and also how long will it take approx. for me to get atleast a four pack? even better a six pack? supply me with all the advice you have thanks!

Ask your mom if she can take you to the gym with her [if she goes] because they have machines there that target certain areas of the body. Since you'd like your abs, they have a machine for that.

If your mom doesn't have a membership to a gym, I would just do ordinary crunches. I'm not sure how many you have to do a day. But I would do at least 100 a day, 5 times a day. Do 20 at a time, & work yourself up to 100. And when you can complete a hundred, work yourself up to more. But remember not to rely on only exercise. A healthy diet is good too. So no more junk food, or sweets, or fast food. And drink lots of water. And don't stop when you see results or else you'll just go back to the way you were before you started.

ok,my problem is that im too skinny, im 13 and 106 pounds not that healthy if you ask me.my spine is always showing and its really starting to make me feel scared that i might have anorexia.

I don't think you're too skinny for your age. I actually think you're just fine unless you're taller than 5'3" or 5'4", then it could be a problem. But, if you really wanna gain a little bit of weight, just try & eat some fatty foods, or something. Or exercise, & get muscle. Muscle weighs more than fat.

I doubt you're anorexic hun, you probably just have a fast metabolism. Anorexia is when you starve yourself so you lose weight. And bulimia is when you eat a lot & then throw up to lose weight or control your weight. If you don't do either of those, you're fine. =) So no worries.

Well, since your birthday is in May, there's a lot you can do. You can probably go to an amusement park [unless they open in June], or you could go to the movies. If you have a hottub, go in there. Since you don't drive yet, I wouldn't suggest going for an all night drive. You could go bowling, or you could just have a small get-together. I didn't do much at my sweet 16 except sit around and talk. And that was all I really wanted. But honestly, there's a lot you can do. I'm not very creative at the moment because the teenage brain doesn't become active til 9:30-10:00 am. And it's 8:30. So I apologize.

But, go to a gokart place or something. I'd do that for my birthday, but I'm born in February, and nothing's open, haha.

When other people have more, it's hard not to get jealous. And it's completely normal. But remember, money doesn't bring happiness. Love, friendship & family do. Those are the important things. Money [though the world revolves around it] is just another thing. And the things you own are just materials. Everyone takes them for granted.

But you know, you're always gonna be better than your friends. And I bet you're wondering how I figure that. Well, your friends can ask for money, and it'll always just be handed to them. But you will end up learning the value of your money, and what hard work can do. You'll earn everything you work for, while all they have to do is go to mommy & daddy for a quick buck. They'll never know how it feels to earn something. So you're better than them, really. Just think of it that way, but don't get arrogant. Just be confident, and know that what you've got is okay. Money isn't everything, trust me when I tell you that.

I've had too many friends that have stabbed me in the back. I have done nothing but be there for them. Yes they've been there for me, but I realized I can't do it anymore. My last friend I ended up losing her because I finally told her how I felt about her. At least I was honest to her face. But now she thinks because she's pregnant she's better than everyone. It makes me feel bad because I told her how I felt, but it also makes me feel good because I was finally able to stand up to her and make her realize that I ain't gonna take it anymore. If anyone has any advice PLEASE LET ME KNOW.

When you're a teenager, you're at the state of find your self identity. That means finding out who your true friends are, who you are, what you're about, what you're good at, & what you're not good at. You're gonna change a lot. The people around you are gonna change a lot. Change can be good & positive. In this case, negative.

Right now, you're finding out who your true/real friends are. There's a differenc between having a few good/close friends than having a lot of friends who mean nothing. Honestly, I rather have a lot of friends, because when they stab me in the back, I'm gonna know who cared & who really didn't, thus allowing them to be good/close friends.

And you're right. At least you can stand up to her & not let her walk all over you. That's a good quality to have with anyone, really. Don't be a doormat. Let no one be mean to you, and don't let anyone put you down. As much as you're gonna hate life these next few years, the changes never stop. You're always gonna be figuring yourself out. You're normal, and only human. But just know, people are gonna backstab all the time, and there's nothing anyone can do to stop it. Basically, when they do, just stop being friends with them. If they've done it once, the chances of them doing it are high.

I've been figuring myself out for the past 3 years and I'm still not at a basis for myself, so don't think the change is gonna happen immeadiately. And remember: fuck people, and fuck opinions. You matter & what they say usually won't. =)

I'm going to basically tell you what I tell everyone.

For one, you're 13 years old. Crash diets aren't good for you, and you're probably not even that big. Even if you wanna tone up, it's best to accept yourself. Although I don't believe in God, you were made a certain way. Flaws & all. Accept them. This isn't presented in the media [since the media tells you that thin is beautiful], but flaws are perfection. And imperfections are beauty. No matter what. BUT, you wanna lose weight, or tone up, so here goes:

DO'S
- Run at least a mile a week. You don't have to run a mile the first day, but work up to it. =) And don't run horribly fast, pace yourself so you don't get tired so quickly.
- Exercise for 30 minutes a day, everyday.
- Give up junk food. That means sweets, fast food & sodas. Anything with lots of sugar is a no no.
- Drink 8 glasses of water a day. And 4 glasses of milk a day. You'll pee a lot, but it boosts your metabolism, and helps you to lose weight.
- Eat healthy. Veggies, fruits & meats are essential. Try not to eat fats/oils a lot.
- Make sure to eat lots of dairy. Yogurt & cheese specifically. If you're lactose intolerant like me, eat them sparingly so you don't get sick.

DON'Ts
- Do not exercise before bed. [Exercising makes your muscles work & move. Your muscles should be relaxed before bedtime so it's easier to get to sleep.]
- Don't eat before bed. Your digestive system slows down at night, so the food will sit there & eventually make you gain weight.
- When you see results, don't stop what you've been doing. If you stop, all the weight will just come back, and everything you've worked on will basically have been a waste of your time.
- Don't be discouraged if you gain weight. Muscle weighs more than fat.
