Green tea is full of antioxidants and provides profound cardiovascular and cellular protection. It also increases thermogenesis, which is energy & fat metabolism. For more information, you can review our web site at:

you have recieved some pretty good answers, but i would like to add that green tea does have caffeine in it. not as much as cofee, but it depends on how strong you make it.

to answer your question, yet it will benefit you.

Yes green tea's healthy-- I completely agree with that. [[But seeing as you didn't give your age]] There's a study showing that like, 90% of altzheimer's patients quit drinking coffee within ten years of being diagnosed. So, if that doesn't apply to you-- just remember it for someone else, or maybe even for you, later in life. :]
But yes, Green tea's very healthy and is filled with antioxidants.

netsirk07 answered Thursday March 29 2007, 1:36 pm:
Yes it will because green tea has antioxidents that help you lose weight. my sister who is 30 eats cheese fries A LOT and maintains her weight because she drinks a gallon of green tea everyday.

cailoisa answered Thursday March 29 2007, 12:59 pm:
Why yes! Though coffee has some benefits, green tea has far more. Plus, the health issues which coffee may carry are more than any benefits.

Based on various studies coffee may increase risk for heart attack, anxiety, acid reflux, caffine addiction, high blood pressure, and sleep disorders, as well as other issues.

Studies show green tea reduces risk for cardiovascular disease and sleep disorders. Green tea may even lower cholesterol and cancer risk. Some studies show that it can increase memory.

Good for you making the switch. I recommend searching WebMD if you need any more information.

It has less caffine, so it's better for your heart, and it's actually easier on your teeth.
