I am in a long distance relationship with my boyfriend( its only like 3 hours difference) we have been together for about 4 months and he wants me to meet his family for dinner. Meeting parents can be nerve racking and scary haha. But don't sweat it, once you meet everyone and you all get talking it won't be bad at all. Act really friendly to everyone, smile, be sweet and respectful to his parents, and nice to his siblings. They'll ask you questions about you, your family, hobbies, etc. so just tell them about yourself. Tell them about you're future plans for school, stuff like that. And don't be afraid to ask questions to get conversations going. If his mom is cooking the meal, compliment her on how wonderful it tastes, tell them you like their house, when you leave thank them for a great time, and that you can't wait to see them again. Also, when dinner is over, offer to help with picking dishes and food up to take it to the kitchen. Mom will love you. Try not to be shy.
Dad's are usually easy to win over, and as long as you're sweet to the mom, you're good to go.
Just make sure you dress conservatively. Don't show too much leg or cleavage. When I meet a guy's parents for the first time, I usually go with a cute knee length skirt and a cute top. Nothing too fancy, but looks put together and nice. good luck :)

Ok so i have acne. And the last two weeks i have done EVERYTHING that my mom has told me to do so that it would clear up. I wash my face 2 times a day and put cream on it like 2 or 3 times a day too after washing my face. And its not getting better. I keep bringing up to her about the dermatologist[sp?] and shes always like " well if you would listen to me you wouldnt have this problem" and shes seen me working my butt of just to make it go away. Does anyone have any tips to convince my mom to take me to a dermatologist becuase I really want my face to clear up before the start of school!! Anything to say to her at all will help

You said that you've been trying to get rid of it for two weeks? It takes about two weeks to see any results at all babe. What kind of cream do you use? Stick with one brand of acne face wash and/or face cream for a full 3 weeks (I suggest neutrogena). For something OTC stuff works, for others it doesn't. OTC stuff didn't work for me. If it doesn't work for you, before you go to a dermatologist, ask your regular doctor to prescribe something. You can go to a dermatologist if you want but I found it much easier to go to my regular doctor and not have to find someone new that might charge more money. But anyway, he prescribed me Benzaclin. It works wonders, I haven't seen a zit on me in about 1 and half years.

Okay, for my birthday I got a Ouija board, but I've been hearing bad things about it after I got it. One of my friends said that the Devil tries to trick people on it. My other friend says it's to talk to spirits. I think they're kinda weird thinking that because the directions say it's like an 8 ball, it tells fortunes. It says it has nothing to do with ghost or anything. I'm kinda mad too, cuz everybody I know is saying, "The Ouija board is cursed," or "People have died from playing that game!" It's funny because I've already freaking played it two days ago. And I'm still alive, not tricked, and haven't talk to spirits. Can sombody help me with this? We used to play with those at sleepovers and such. We'd freak each other out talking about it and how many bad things have happened. But it's usually all in people's heads. Nothing happened to me and my friends that used it, and it didn't even work 99% of the time. Usually someone purposely moves the thing around just to freak everyone out. That's my experience with it anyways.

alrighttt so i need a new straightener, because mine doesn`t really work any more the coating over the plates like wore down & you can see the metal underneath.. and when i straighten my hair it always has a wave to it because i have curly hair. i need a straightener that will get my hair pin straight. does anyone know any good brands i can buyy. price doesn't really matter.. nothing wayyy over a hundred dollars though...

I've had a CHI for a while and I love it. About a year ago it was time for a new straightener and I decided to try something other than a CHI (just for a change and to see if there's something better out there). I tried four different straighteners, the Sedu, Solia, Corioliss, and Hot Tools. What i found out was, these other straighteners took longer to straighten my hair and two of which did not keep my hair straight. I have curly hair and by the end of the day, my hair was wavy. So I returned all four and went back to the CHI. I ordered it from folica.com and got this color:

dodge stealth is a piece of shit. it's a mitsubishi 3000GT. which is an overweight, boat of a sports car with front wheel drive standard. it's a joke and a unreliable shitty one at that. but as far as reliable, cheap sports cars goes. here's a list i'm compiling:

well i personally have never gotten braces..but i asked my friend who's gotten them before.
she said it takes around 45 minutes and it doesn't hurt when hes putting them on but it hurts after because your teeth aren't used to all the pressure..but after a week that pain should fade.

hey
well, don't apply lotion inside your vagina. it should already be moisturized from your discharge & you should be actively masturbating to avoid dry skin.
please don't put lotion down there cause you could get an infection.
to stay fresh, just shower regular and before you soap yourself, just wash out the inside of your vagina. it may be getting dry from a few things:
1. your underwear. make sure you change your underwear at most every 24 hours. make sure it's a comfortable cotton panty and not a lacey thong that's make it irritated & dry.
2. soap. if you soaped the inside of your vagina, then it must have gotten very dry from that. please refrain / avoid soaping your vagina.
vagina's do not naturally smell fresh. they smell like discharge, blood, and cum most of the time. if you clean your vagina out thoroughly with water, it should smell a little better. but it can never smell fresh [unless you put perfume in your vagina - not recommended.]

on AIM, i put up an away message. afetr 20 minutes, it says your idle. no one touches the computer after i leave it, and i hide all popup notifications, etc.. yet sometimes it will randomly take me off idle so it looks like i'm actively on the computer when i'm not. how can i fix this? (link)

Edit (at the top of the page) --> Settings (at the bottom of the scroll bar) --> Buddy List (on the left hand navigation) --> And change the time for show buddies as idle after ".." minutes (meaning you won't be idle either).
You also have to then go to Privacy (also on the left hand navigation) and then deselect the box that says "Allow others to see I am Idle"

ok so i have 2 problems: i have friends in 2 "cliques" and they're all my best friends. the girls in one of the groups.. their all great and fun to be with but sometimes i just feel like idk. lately, they havent been inviting me places. i dont know it might just be me but i feel like thats happening. in my other group, they dont really like my other friends and whenever i talk about one group to another group, they all talk about them in bad ways and i just go along with it sometimes and i feel bad. problem 1 - should i talk to them about it or just leave it alone problem 2 - should i keep talking bad about the other girls or say something??

I know exactaly how you feel, that happens to me all the time...the best thing to do [[even though it might not feel like it]] is to turn around and say something about it. Dont be affraid to tell them how you feel, both groups are your friends, and you want to keep it that way. It might be intimidating, but if you dont say something, then you run the risk of the other "clique" group finding out about you talking about them...and TRUST me you do NOT want that to happen. OH YEA!!! If you do actually say something dont be mean about it
If in fact you do get caught in a situation like that, and you feel uncomfortable, then you should try to bring up another conversation. For example, if they are talking about lets say samantha and about how she is so stupid in science class or whatever...just bring up a topic about how hard the quiz was last week and if they think they did good on it.

every answer before mine is bullshit. you want a fast car, well then you've come to the right place. first off i need to know your budget. i'm going to assume a cap of around 5000 bucks or so. if so well we're good. first thing is if you want something fast. front wheel drive defeats that purpose. because front wheel drive isn't fast. think about it. in a front wheel drive system the front wheels have to deliver the engine's power to the road, take care of turning, and when you apply the brakes guess what the front wheels have to slow down before anything else. so the front wheels have three jobs to do. and something loses out in the end because of that. turning loses out. and you'll find in a front wheel drive vehicle when turning at speed you lose traction and slide out of the turn. and sliding out of the turn doesn't help. sliding through the turn like a rear wheel drive car will do is much more helpful. so let's look at some car choices.
