Dodge Stealth Question...

Question Posted Sunday July 1 2007, 11:18 pm

Is A Dodge Stealth a reliable car? I'm being told that it sucks alot of money out of you. Has anyone here ever used/owned/repaired a Dodge Stealth?

Thoughts? Opinions?
Thanks, Adam

PS: Can anyone list some cheap, inexpensive (and used) sports cars I can look into? (I cannot afford a new car)...

Additional info, added Monday July 2 2007, 8:55 pm:
Added: What if the car has had work done to it around 100,000 miles? (aka new clutch, new water pump, pulleys, belts, tune up, etc)... Would that make the car more worthwhile?

I am looking at this car in particular:

dodge stealth is a piece of shit. it's a mitsubishi 3000GT. which is an overweight, boat of a sports car with front wheel drive standard. it's a joke and a unreliable shitty one at that. but as far as reliable, cheap sports cars goes. here's a list i'm compiling:

ford:
mustang GT
thunderbird
mercury cougar XR7 (ones from 96 or before)
lincoln mark VIII
lincoln mark VII
ford crown victoria (it's a big boat of a car, but honey these things can move)
mercury grand marquis
mercury marauder (special option package on the grand marquis)

mazda:
MX5 miata
1985-1991 RX7
RX8 (they're quite affordable these days)

nissan:
240SX
300ZX
280Z
240Z

toyota:
MR2
celica (find the alltrac edition if you can, that is the best one)
supra

honda:
S2000
NSX (this is the most expensive car on the list. it's worth way more than any of the others, it's just on here because it's the one awesome car honda produced)
integra type R (one of the few front wheel drive cars i'll suggest, just cause it's proven it's worth)

volkswagen:
GTI
wolfsburg jetta
passat W8
any old beetle from before 1998

mercedes benz:
190E
C230

chevrolet:
camaro Z28
camaro SS

pontiac:
trans-am
trans-am WS6
fiero
GTO (they've gotten cheaper over the years)

but that's it i listed em as they came to me, and most are affordable. hell any of them can be had for under 19,000 bucks. which isn't hard to finance at all. and all of them can be had with an automatic. but honey if you really wanna drive fast, you'll have to learn to drive a manual.

I skimmed that site and it gives some information about them, and what-not.

Some other ones are-
Mitsubishi 3000GT (as said in the article)
Mitsubishi Eclipse/Talon
Nissan 300ZX
Toyota Supra (older ones such as 87'-91')
Toyota Celica (97'ish)

And if you REALLY wanna stretch it -
Honda Civic
Honda Prelude
Honda Accord
Acura Integra
