In a nutshell, I hate my stepdad. Well, HATE is a strong word, so let's just say I highly dislike him.
My mother met him about 5 years ago, and they got married a year later. He was nice to me and my sister during their courtship, but since he married my mom he's turned into an ass. Well he's really mean to me and my sister. Neither of us has a bf so he says to our faces that were lesbians. When I had my 25th birthday he told me in front of my mother that I must be a dyke because all of his daughters were married by my age. He always compares us to his daughters who are all married.
My sister has a weight problem and he calls her fat and a slug. He convinced my mother to kick her out of the house while she was still in college. My sister is a good person, she's quiet and studies to get good grades but he tells my mom that she deserves to be kicked out on the street. I think he wants my mom all to himself. He even told me once that he was "sick of me always coming around". I live in another town and maybe visit my mom once every two weeks, so I don't know what he's talking about. On Xmas day when I went to visit them I even heard him yelling at my mom! He was calling her a "stubborn woman" because she asked him to help cut up the turkey. Every one else can see this guys a jerk except for my mother.What can I do? I've already told my mom that she shouldnt have married him but she's in love with him and doesnt want to listen.

Ughh.He sounds like a fagget.Well what you have to do is while he is at work or not at home tell your mom the truth.Tell her EVERYTHiNG.He has no right to call you or your sister that.Your not even his real kids so yeah he is a jackass.Next time he says it to you what you have to do is get in his face to just talk back to him,I know it might be mean but wow he has no right to do this to you. I have this Friend and she told me this secret about her haveing sex, and well being the good friend that I am I didnt tell any one, but the other person she told told the whole school and now the whole school thinks that its me and now they all like hate me. That's so freakin dumb! Talk to your friend and tell you as much as she thinks its you its not.Also tell her that it was the other girl she told.And just ignore everyone they will come to you and say sorry sooner or later because they will realize they are wrong.If anyone startes crap about you saying or telling them just tell them to shut there trap.If you know you didn't do it just ignore those people they just don't want you two to be friends.Ugh I hate people like that. ♥

Me and Charliie ( shes a girl too ) were best friends in 6th grade. Charliie changed in 7th grade and became loud and obnoxious. She liked to get into trouble, she started cussing alot, painting her nails black, and wearing all dark clothing. She said it was the "real her" Me and her got into alot of fights about her being fake *cause she sucks up to the populars and is totally diff. online then she is in person* We no longer talked to each other at school and I got a new best friend. Me and Charliie started become friends again but there was always this feeling of lies in the air because we never truly worked out our past fights and I knew we'd never have the same friendship we once had. Charliies bad habits got on my nerves again and I had to tell someone. So I decided to tell my best friends. I was talking crap about Charliie to my new best friend ( we were talking about some of the stuff Charliie had lied to us about, some bad stuff she had said to make me and my new bff get mad at each other etc.) and this girl overheard us and told Charliie. Now Charliie is really pissed at me and my new bff. I don't want her to be mad at me, * i know what I did was wrong* and I don't know how to make it up to her. Like I don't nesisarlly want to be her best friend again, but I just don't want us to be fighting cause we just got more classes with eachother and when we fight she lies to turn people against me. How to I show her I'm truly sorry without sounding like I'm desperate for her back. How to I get our past cleared up and have me and her friends again? I will rate 5 for everything. thanks guys.
Ah that happens alot with friends you just need to call her and tell her your really sorry for what you did and it was wrong.Then tell what you really think about her changing & just be open and honest.That happens alot with friends.Tell her the past is the past and you really want to be friends with her.If you say it like you mean it I know for a fact she will forgive you.Good luck !! ♥

I just inserted my very first tampon. I felt fine for the first few minutes but every few minutes I can feel my tampon like when I walk. I was expecting pain, so idk if its just my mind playing tricks on me or what but what should I do? Any things I should know about using a tampon.

I used a tampon for the first time tonight. I began to feel a little discomfort afterabout 30minutes to I took it out. However it hurt to take it out; I had to pull pretty hard. Is this normal?

Hey! First of all, I just wanted to say that you give great advice, I've been reading your advice column for a while & you're so nice! Anyways, I've recently come across this school called Lake Forest Academy and it's a boarding school, but it's a really nice one & it'll help me exceed in areas like English, which I'm good at. It also provides really good sports, & it's pretty much my dream school! But my parents said there's no reason to go to boarding school. I mean, I gave them really good reasons to let me go; like it's a better education than I'm getting now, it's a chance to start over in school & make new friends, & it will help prepare me for college & all that. But my parents said that it's still pointless & that I come up with stupid ideas in my head that wont come true. I really want to go, and we have the money, but they keep complaining that it's a waist of $14,000. My mom always says that she doesn't trust someone else trying to take care of me and that I can't take care of myself, but I'm capable of taking care of myself in the dorms & at school since I'm almost 16 and going into 11th grade next year and I'm mature. I need help on trying to convince my parents that boarding school is for me, but how do I do that?

I'm a freshman and I already had my first high school boy, "Tommy", he & I were perfect for each other, everyone thought we were gonna be high school sweethearts. We dated for almost 2 months, he had already told me he loved me and I truly loved him!
Later, he had heard some rumors about me that weren't true and he knew it, but instead, he listened to his friends. The next time we talked, he gave me a lame excuse and broke up with me. I was a mess, I cried myself to sleep for 2 weeks straight!
It's been about 2 months since we broke up, I felt like I was over him, but my close friend asked me if she could take "Tommy" to our winter formal. Now, I'm mad at myself for saying it was okay (she asked me if it was okay). Whenever I talk to her, I always get mad at myself for not saying no.
"Tommy" tries to make me jealous, but instead he makes me mad. He always asks me why I don't care about him anymore, he calls me and asks why I'm being so mean to him and stuff. I just don't care anymore!
How do I get over "Tommy"? I still love him, but I want to get over him so badly.
