Digital Camera

Question Posted Friday December 30 2005, 5:26 pm

For Christmas, I got a bunch of money and im pretty sure its enough for a digital camera. My mom says to wait till this weekend when there will be a buch of sales, because its the weekend after Christmas. So should I wait, or do you think it would be sold out? And, when I do get one, what's the best one to get thats affordable but yet a really good one? Thanks in advance =)

Check the November issue of Consumer Reports, they rated just about every digital camera known to man. It's important to know what you'll want to use your camera for, like pictures of your friends or scenery. Don't buy anything under 5.0 Megapixels, it's just not worth your money. If you can't afford it, keep saving.

Hey,

Thats sort of a hard question because If you wait now you will end up spending alot of money, but if you wait till the sales begin you might not get what you want. They will also be alot of returns to. Which means half of the stores (Walmart, etc) doesn't check the item to see if everything is there. That has happend to me with a digital camera. If it was me, I would go for now. Because they could be getting new ones in stock.

I think you should wait because it will be extra cheap.I'm not sure which ones are the best but just ask the sales person and they will get you a good one ♥

Walmart..
Target..
Curcuit City..
And Best buy for a camera.. I`m not sure of a good kind or anything but i don`t see why a place would sell you a piece of crap.. ♥ Dez

eitehr way they should be the same price mine was like $150 and its a fuji film from walmart and its amazing! i think that price includes the $40 memory card i bought but im not sure. the camera is amazing (perfect quality) the only bad thing is it eats through batterys.. you can only get like 1 hour max of use with 1 set of batters so i recomend buying the rechargable battery set by fuji film. ive heard kodak is good but for the most part they only start at $200

i doubt theyll be sold out, so you dont have to worry about that. a good camera will cost about $250-450 ON SALE, so bring coupons if you have any.
for that price, you can get a good one with video, and a big screen, and its good. i bought one
