Everybody in my life is seeming to find "the one" but i seem to be all alone and if seems as if everybody guys i mean dont like me will i be single forever?
Peachgirly answered Friday December 30 2005, 8:56 pm: No, you won't be single forever. For now, you shouldn't worry about this and you should be patient and have a positive attitude. There is always a certain someone for everyone. Eventually you will find that person and it can happen anytime and anywhere. Remember this, the guy you're meant to be with is out there but you just haven't met him yet. sometimes I get the same feeling that I'll never find the right person so you're not alone.

rainbowcherrie answered Friday December 30 2005, 6:56 pm: Okay. I don't know how old you are but I'm gonna assume that you're around 13 to 16. I apologise if that's wrong.
You're far too young to be worrying about finding 'the one'. I'm 14, I worry ALL THE TIME about the fact that I'm single, that my friends have boyfriends, that this guy doesn't like me etc...That's all normal. When you're young you're SUPPOSED to go through crap like that. It's expected of you. If you wake up, find a perfect guy and ride off happily into the sunset at the age of 13 and are happy for the rest of your life then you're incredibly lucky. But the truth is, that kind of thing doesn't happen.
You're gonna date a few guys, you're gonna get your heart broken, you're gonna cry, then one day you're gonna meet someone and they won't make you cry and they won't leave you.
At this age it's incredibly rare to meet 'the one', your soulmate. I doubt everyone in your life is finding theirs, I bet you that they'll be in tears over it in a couple of months time.
You will meet a guy who likes you back and you will be happy with him. Right now just enjoy being young and single, don't sit around waiting for the perfect guy because he won't come to you. If you try and forget about getting a boyfriend all together then you'll probably meet someone.
It sounds stupid but it's true. I've been single for quite a while now, the last proper-ish boyfriend I had broke up with me a year ago and I've been (mostly) single ever since - aside from a few short lived things. Yes, I'd love to meet someone who I liked who I could be with but I know that they're not just going to fall into my lap. Life isn't that easy. I tried looking for a boyfriend and I got nowhere, it's not attractive to look desperate. However, as soon as I stopped chasing guys, they started to notice me and like me. Okay, so I'm still single and I haven't me a guy who I actually like who likes me back but that's okay because I know I will eventually.

tasuki answered Friday December 30 2005, 6:49 pm: If you keep that attitude, yes. You have to stop waiting for them to come to you and go out and GET them. Pretend you're the panther and the guy is the rabbit. Only you control your destiny. [ tasuki's advice column | Ask tasuki A Question ]
