Can you gain your metabolism back? I recently stopped being anorexic and I want my metabolism to be high again.

Well..You could (I can't believe I'm saying this)eat unhealthy foods. Like hot dogs, chocolate cakes...etc. You get a higher metabolism that way.

To tell you the truth..I don't like that cami at all. If you already have it...there's nothing I can do. If you don't, you might want to try to find a new one. I love AE and they have adorable clothes so yeah, you'll find something. Anyways, hmm.....that blue skirt is too short for a cami like that. But that's my taste. For my birthday my uncle gave me $500 and I spent $320 on a tiffany's neckalace. Now I have $180 and I want to buy a digital camera. just to warn you, this COULD be long... im really sorry but i DO need help so please keep reading and help me if you can.

i just got back from a cruise where i met a FANTASTIC boy. ...well thats what i thot. his name was matt. we had a mutual friend on the cruise named tyler that was closer friends with him but me and him were friends also.. well me and matt were like always together and we hooked up a few times on the cruise too.

when i got home, me and matt still talked on the phone and stuff but we live like 2 hours from eachother so we dont see eachother. well matt actually asked me to his prom and i told him i would ask my parents. so a couple days later i was talking to tyler online and i told tyler that matt asked me to his prom. tyler acted REALLY surprised so i asked him wutsup. and tyler said that matt didnt really like me.. he actually had a GIRLFRIEND while he was on the cruise.. and that matt just kinda considered me a bootycall. well, this is what tyler said. so i was obviously PISSED so i talked to matt about it, and he denied the whole thing telling me how great i am and how much he likes me.

so i told matt that i believe him, but its still in the back of my mind that tyler was telling the truth, just because i dunno why he would lie about something like that. and now im just really confused.. i dunno what to believe. any opinions? please help.

I have to present a speech infront of about 30 people tomorrow for class and I'm REALLY nervous. I'm doing an oratorical speech and it's just so crazy. My friends have told me to breathe in and out but it only works for like 4 minutes. I've never done a speech before, this is my first time. So...is it alright to be nervous? And what do you suggest I do when I'm up there?

Well...I pretty much had the same thing. Don't worry, remember you'll be over it in 5 minutes. It is TOTALLY fine to be nervous. "If you weren't nervous...you wouldn't care." - a very good teacher of mine told me this. So just chill out. I suggest to try to count the minutes...alright?

Sorry about the catergory. I have an oratory contest this weekend, Sunday. The woman in charge told me that it is not neccessary, but would greatly improve my score if I had my speech memorized. I have already submitted my speech, and it falls into their time limits - five to seven minutes.

So how can I prepare for this. I don't think I'll have too much trouble with memorizing the three pages. What would be the best way to memorize it or learn it. I need to stick to the speech if I did memorize it - so that would mean keep my ideas in order.

Also, I'm afraid that when it comes to actually speaking, I'll get stage fright (heart stomping out of your chest feeling). That always messes me up. Any ideas or suggestions? Things to remember for when I practice? How to practice? Thanks a lot - will rate.

Wow! I did the exact same thing! Doing a speech contest is really quite easy. Okay..my teacher also told me the same thing: To win..you need it memorized. So do this: write your speech on notecards. Go over them every night. Start by reading them out loud. And then slowly, memorize the first notecard, then the second, then the third...etc. Take the notecards everywhere. I took them in the car to places so that on the way there, I could memorize my speech and if I made a mistake or got stuck, I could just look at my notecards.

Hm...breathe in. And breathe out. Remember that you're going to get it over in just a few minutes. To practice pausing, when you're saying your speech, say 'DOT DOT DOT' or 'PAUSE PAUSE PAUSE'. That REALLY helped me, because in my mind, it got stamped down that I needed to pause.

Alright, this is the thing. I HATE my highschool. Really, HATE it. So I've been pretty much miserable, which is why I've been skipping alot, and now I found out..because of this, I might not graduate. Now you'll probably never understand my culture, but there's nothing more important than education, My father has said it straight to my face "I don't care abotut your happiness, as long as you get into a GREAT university, and have straight A's" and last night he said "Go study! If you have any B's this year, I'll be really dissapointed, and you won't be my daughter!" And when I tried to tell him how dumb that is he said "I've only ever asked you for ONE thing in your life, and that's good grades, just that one thing..I think it's reasonable to ask you to do good in that" or something along those lines. I'm so scared :S and the thing is, since I've feared my father basically my whole life, I've never told him th truth about my grades, my mom has covered up for me, and told him I get straight A's even though I don't. And we were going to do that this year too, but now we can't..because I might not graduate. I can't stop crying, because it seems like there's no solution..I can not get anyone else involved, I can't ask my mother to help me anymore..I just can't. And I CAN NOT talk to my father, it's just not in my culture. So please..don't suggest any of those things. But..what can I do? Is there anything? Please help me :'(

OH gosh...I'm asian so my parents expect pretty much the same thing. If you really are failing or doing poorly...unfortunately, I must say to take summerschool. Try to do things to get extra credits so you can graduate.
