i need an opinion... sex.
just to warn you, this COULD be long... im really sorry but i DO need help so please keep reading and help me if you can.
i just got back from a cruise where i met a FANTASTIC boy. ...well thats what i thot. his name was matt. we had a mutual friend on the cruise named tyler that was closer friends with him but me and him were friends also.. well me and matt were like always together and we hooked up a few times on the cruise too.
when i got home, me and matt still talked on the phone and stuff but we live like 2 hours from eachother so we dont see eachother. well matt actually asked me to his prom and i told him i would ask my parents. so a couple days later i was talking to tyler online and i told tyler that matt asked me to his prom. tyler acted REALLY surprised so i asked him wutsup. and tyler said that matt didnt really like me.. he actually had a GIRLFRIEND while he was on the cruise.. and that matt just kinda considered me a bootycall. well, this is what tyler said. so i was obviously PISSED so i talked to matt about it, and he denied the whole thing telling me how great i am and how much he likes me.
so i told matt that i believe him, but its still in the back of my mind that tyler was telling the truth, just because i dunno why he would lie about something like that. and now im just really confused.. i dunno what to believe. any opinions? please help. <33 MUCH LOVE TO ANY1 WHO CAN.

Sounds more like Tyler is jealous and doesn't want you to go with Matt. Obviously if Matt had a gf he wouldn't invite you to his prom - so he must be telling the truth. Go and have a great time!

Well if you knew Tyler longer, and you trust Tyler - I would have believed him.
The only reason I could see Tyler lying is that he likes you? Maybe, and he doesnt want Matt to go to prom with you.
But if Matt does have a girlfriend and is only using you, I would definitly stop contact with him.
But what you really need to do is just sort the whole situation out, get together with matt and tyler, and talk about it then, becaus I'm sure Tyler would lie infront of Matt, and matt wouldnt lie in front of Tyler. make sense? Then things should probably get clarified.

Maybe Tyler also likes you and is jealous of Matt. If Matt does in fact have another girlfriend, feel free to tell him off. But Matt could also be lying to you. Maybr if you go to Prom with Matt, ask some of his friends and do some sneaking and if they tell you he isnt taken, go for it.

I think that since you developed a relationship with both Matt and Tyler, maybe Tyler got a little jealous and decided to make up a quick rumor to get your attention. I don't think that Matt would do that if he already asked you to his prom. Maybe you should have a little talk with Tyler and ask him if everything is okay.

I don't think that Matt would ask you to his prom if he wasn't serious about you and if he did have a girlfriend.
However, it is strange that Tyler would tell you this, and I think he would have told you in the first place or even before you met Matt. So I think that Tyler might not be telling the truth. I think that it would be ok to go to this prom with him and get to know him more, and then you'll find out what he's really all about.

hmm this is a tough one. I dont think tyler is telling the truth, only because he randomly decided to tell you the "truth" about matt in stead of telling you on the cruise. Besides, why would Matt INVITE YOU to prom if he doesnt like you and he has a girlfriend?

well i don't really think that matt woulkd be asking you to travel 2 hours to go to his prom if he haa a girlfriend. Maybe matt did have a girlfriend at first and broke up with her kuz of you or maybe another reason but you don't need to think about tha i think you should just have funn and party at the prom and if it turns out o be true and matt is an ass well then you don;t ever have to see or talk to him again..the beauty of long distance and if its not true and he's really a great guy then yay !!!
