I'm Christina, and I'm 27. I tend to be brutally honest when I give advice or an opinion. I don't tell people what they want to hear but rather what they need to hear. They don't always appreciate it at first, but I usually get a thank you in the end.

The question you're looking for is under the FAQ. Unfortunately, you cannot change your username. In order to do so, you would need to delete your account & remake one with the name you want.

ok im a 16/f im struggling with school.. i bring home an f like everday... and also i still like my xboyfriend and he was my first b/f we made up and everything but we don't talk much.. and i feel like my whole world is faling apart and i feel depressed all the time... help what should i do?

First off, forget about your exboyfriend. He's your ex for a reason. He's in your past. Let him stay there. By concentrating on him & letting your feelings about him get to you, you're taking your focus away from what's really important. School. Cut him out of your life completely. You can't afford to fail because of a boy. Especially because of a boy. They're not important. School is. In order to do this, stop talking to him. Stop being his friend. [I'm assuming that you talk & are friends.] Delete him off of your buddylist. Delete him from MySpace or Facebook. Whichever you use. Delete his number from your cell phone if you've got one.

Once you've done that, focus on school. Do all of the worksheets in class. Pay attention to what the teachers are saying. Take lots of notes. Make flashcards as a study routine. When you get home, don't go to your computer, the tv, or the kitchen. Go straight to a quiet place & do your homework. Finish it all. Bring your notes home so you have them to refer to when you need them, or when you don't get something. Bring your books home. Make a list to yourself about what you need so that you don't forget anything at school. When you're done with all of your homework, put it back into your bookbag & proceed to do the things you usually do when you get home. If you don't get something, practice it more or stay after for extra help. Maybe get your teachers email so you can email them if you have a problem. If you don't get something, try it anyways. Teachers like it when you try, even if you don't get the answer. Instead of waiting til class that day, see them in the morning when you get to school. Maybe you can work on the problems together for the solution & they can go over it with you some more. =) Good luck.

Revenge can be sweet, but karma is a bitch. Always remember that.

Don't get revenge. If your boyfriend is talking to another girl [as if he's interested in her], then dump him. Why stay with him & plot so much time to get revenge? If he doesn't like you anymore, then that's something you need to accept. It's his loss, and if he doesn't realize that, then he's even dumber.

Just find someone new, and when he realizes exactly what he's lost & he comes crawling back, laugh at him.

About what does one person make on Minimum Wage per year? (in the United States)

Depends on the job & state.

I have alot of music questions.
First off, I want to be a singer or an actress.
Think I'd have a better shot at singing since I've written like 15 songs.

Questions:

Is it true that when you start out, bands do better than just a singer?
Should I get a band together?

If I did start a band, would I have to play an instrument, 'cause I wouldn't know which one to play; I can't move my left hand a different way than my right.
So I couldn't do piano unless it was one-handed, but most picano has the left hand doing something more background-ish while the right hand plays the key parts.
I can't do that.

Is bass hard to do?
And can you sing while playing bass?
I didn't think so...

okay, and also I need to know would the songs I sing HAVE to ALWAYS be mine, or can I use other people's songs?
Like, could I take a song by Superchic[k[ and sing it?
Couldn't use their song on a CD, right?

I'm just so confused, but I really want to sing...

[1] I don't think so. Some do better than others, but I doubt that it's always like that.
[2] You don't have to. There are lots of bands where the singers don't play any instruments. Some do play instruments outside of the band as like a hobby. Some do both, and some don't.
[3] My friend plays bass, and for him, it's not hard. He's been playing for years though & taught himself every instrument. He sings, plays many types of guitar, AND plays drums. I guess it'd be hard for someone just starting, but you'll learn it eventually if you're patient, or can afford lessons.
[4] Yeah. There are lots of bands where some of the other members sing and play instruments. Aaron Gillespie is the drummer for Underoath. He sings in Underoath too. He has another band which is his side project called The Almost which he is the lead singer for. So yes, you can play an instrument [bass or drums] & sing too.
[5] For starting out, you can use other people's songs to sing at like shows & whatnot, but for a CD? No. There are copyright laws & unless you speak to that artist & get their permission yourself, you cannot do it. You may be able to give them credit & be okay, but I doubt that could possibly happen.

If your boyfriend makes fun of you with his friends & then laughs at you when you try to tell him how you feel, then he's an asshole & he's inconsiderate. You need to dump him. Don't wait for him to do it to you.

Your boyfriend shouldn't care if you've got none on top or if you do. He should love you for you. If he claims to love you anways, he's lying. He wouldn't laugh at you & make fun of you if he loved you.

Whether it's true or not, you deserve better & someone who won't care what you've got or don't got. You need someone who will love you for you. Your boyfriend doesn't, so you need to fix that. Leave him.

ok so i am 13 and i have had sweaty hands since i was in 1st grade. i mean its not lik a lil sweat its lik when i get done typin on the comp thur is a puddle of sweat there. i HATE to give handshakes or high-fives does any one else have this problem i no its weird and if there ANY WAY to solve it id like people's opinions on this too thanx :D

If you got close with his friend last year, then why should he care? It was in the past, and we're definitely in the present right now. The past shouldn't matter to him, and if it does, well then that's stupid.

If you like him a lot, you need to tell her that. Tell her it would kill you to see them together because you like him so much. Hopefully she'll take the talk you guys have into consideration, and if she doesn't, then you can't do anything about it. And you need to back off.

If they do happen to go out, find ways to get over it. There are lots of other guys out there. He's not the only one for you. By just liking him, you're missing out on so many other guys who like you. If at all possible, like a lot of guys at once. It'll leave you with a problem of who to choose of more than one of them likes you back, but then if it doesn't work out with one, then you've got another one to fall back on.

Don't try to do things with her so fast. I mean, hold her hand, hug her & kiss her. But don't do it so much, and don't try to get in her pants. She wants to wait for things, so that's what she meant by taking it slow.

Maybe you have something she doesn't, so he flirts with you to find it. Either that, or he's bored & likes flirting. Whatever it may be, just ignore it.

Ok well a while back my sister (who is 14 and i'm thirteen) was looking through her old school pictures and she found one of third grade and so she decided to go on myspace and see if anyone had one and she only found one so she started talking to him and then she left her messenger on one day so i got on and told him i'm jessicas(mysister) sister and so then we started talking for a few months and we started to like each other and we promised each other that when either of us get a car we would drive out to see each other cause he lives in new hamshire and i live in wisconsin so we stopped talking for like a couple months then he messaged me saying he's sorry if it felt like he pushed me away but he got grounded and that he missed talking to me and what not so i really like him even though the last time we saw each other in person was when i was in 2nd grade n he was in 3rd so bascially does he like me i mean by reading this well i mean he says he does but i dont know someone help basically whats your opinion on this situation thanks in advance and please dont judge

He might, but to get into a relationship would him would probably be a stupid idea. First off, there's your sister who might get mad at the idea, or even the fact that you guys have been talking behind her back. And secondly, he lives far away from you. A relationship might not work out.

Well my friend recently went to a gynecologist and was tested for endometrio cancer and cervical cancer. They werent quite sure if she had it so they sent the information out and she will find out in ten days. But for 1 month I have been bleeding and my period doesn't ever last that long, so now I'm worried I have the cancer too. First off, I feel I might have got it because me and my friend shared a dildo one night, I know bad idea, but we weren't thinking. Is cervical or endometrio cancer transferable, and if so does anyone think I could have gotten it from that? I don't really want to go get checked cause I'm terrified of doctors. So if anyone has any information I would love to know, or any opinons, and adivce would be helpful too. Thanks and please hurry I'm scared.

Cancer isn't something you can get from someone else by touching them or sharing something with them.

If you're scared, then see a doctor, but I think you're okay.

so i have a crush on a guy in one of my classes and i've been talking to him alot for the past week...we won't really talk at school because we don't see eachother. but so far we've talked just about everynight since last tuesday. (4/24) and the other night we talked from 12- 3:30 AM and then the other night we talked from like 11-12:30 on the phone. and i'm trying to flirt with him more but i don't know how to without being too obvious or sounding stupid. i'm not sure how to hint to him i like him without coming out and saying i like you. but i mean if you talk to a guy from 11:45- 3:30 on a monday night thats gotta mean something right?? Ugh, I'm just not sure how i should hint to him that i like him. any ideas?

Just tell him you like him. He more than likely already likes you back, so you need to tell him.

ok sorry if this is long...
so i'm 14/f and in 8th grade. and back when i was in sixth grade me and this guy jamie really liked each other. but we always pretended we didn't, but we both knew we liked each other. then, half way through sixth grade he moved to hong kong, like actually to live there. we talked online a little bit and we both admitted that we liked each other. then during 3rd quarter that year i started going out with this guy ben. well, school in hk wasn't working out for jamie, so he came back for 4th quarter. but i was still going out with ben then, so jamie stopped flirting with me. but i dumped ben before jamie went back to hong kong, and then we flirted. so anyway, during 7th grade i talked to jamie a little bit and we both play tennis, so he said that over the summer we should play tennis together. well i forgot about it, but over the summer i got a call from him about "taking me up on that tennis match". so we played tennis and then he asked me to go to a movie with him, then he went back to hong kong. so then this year, he came back here for a week for his friend's bar mitzvah. he kind of talked to me a little, but very, very little. i think he liked me over the summer (maybe) but he's coming back this summer and i want to know what i should expect. i am willing to have a long distance relationship with him, but what should i do about it? call him when he's in town? we go to the same country club, so i'll see him at tennis, but i really want to have a relationship with him. what should i do? thanks so much

If you like this boy & he doesn't know if you do or not right now, then you need to tell him. It'll make things easier for you when you see him.

Should you do a long distance relationship? Honestly, that's completely up to you. I honestly don't recommend them because you're 14 years old. You don't know what you want yet, and if you settle down with some guy who lives half the world away, you'll never see him. You might start to like someone else & then you'll get all these bad feelings about it. If you think you're mature enough, however, then go for it. Do what you think is right for you.

Like I said, if you like him, tell him. Talk to him about a possible relationship & see if he's up for the idea. If he doesn't want to because of distance, then you need to accept that. If he ever comes back to America to live, then take up a relationship then. Call him when he's in town & even when he's not. Keep a friendship going until you're ready to tell him. Good luck.
