About what does one person make on Minimum Wage per year? (in the United States)

Federal is $5.55($11,544 per year), some states are higher. Here's a complete state list:

Jobs usually pay about 50% more than the minimum wage they are required to.
Convert hourly to annually with

hourly * 8 * 5 * 48

8 is hours, 5 is days per week

minimum wage varies in a few states but as a general rule you will make around $11,000 dollars(US) a year at a minimum wage job before taxes.
