In a week will be my first day of a new school, so i want my skin to look good. I have a severe acne problem, its all over my face. the dermatoogist gave me retin-a micro and benzaclin and a sulfur wash but its just not working. i rele want clear skin or atleast clear enough toput make up over it by when school starts. any tips or natural remedes?

Oh! I'm so sorry to hear about your problem. I had acne a while ago but I got rid of it.

If you have big disgusting cysts, pop them. Pop everyone of them. I know it sounds nasty, but it's the only thing that will work. Once all the pus has been gotten rid of, go to the pharmacy and get Erythromycin Topical Solution. It's an Rx drug only (meaning that it's a prescription drug). Spread it all over your face. Don't wash your face for the rest of the day, don't eat ANY red meat, don't put your face on your hands, and don't expose your face to a lot of oil.

If you have whiteheads or blackheads, follow the instructions above.

If they're not pimples and don't have any pus, follow the instructions above except skip the pimple exploding.

I know this whole process sounds gross, but most natural solutions are kind of weak and don't help very well (trust me; I'm Chinese and my family uses Chinese remedies a lot but natural skin solutions just don't do the job).

I was wondering, even if I'm not sexually active or anything..and I just want to get on the pill (for my period), would I still need a pap smear? Also, what other things should I expect during my appointment with the gynecologist?

You don't need anything because you're not sexually active. You don't need a gynecologist/pap smear/whatever. Why the hell would you go on the Pill if you're not sexually active? It is beyond me how the Pill helps your period

Here's some good things to remember while you're having your first period:


*Yes you can wear a pad overnight, just change once a day so you don't stink*
*When you shower, the blood on the floor will get diluted by the water and wash away*
*the best pad brand is "Always Maxi." They're superthick in case you have a heavy flow and it's fairly confortable to wear*
*Wait awhile to wear tampons. Tampons are too much to take in at first, it's easy to forget to take them out, you could get toxic shock syndrome if they're left in too long and you'll pop your cherry (aka hymen)*
*Don't eat cold stuff like Ice Cream because it will give you cramps*
*If you get cramps, boil some water and brown sugar or ginger together and drink it. It will go away in about half an hour or so. Chinese remedy that my mom taught me.*
*When the flow gets light or turns brown, it means your period is winding down*
*there are days when you don't bleed at all. But always keep on a pad at least two days after you THINK your period is over because it could come back and you'll be embarassed because it'll stain your clothes*

Well it depends. It works best if you have light hair (not blonde and certainly not platinum blonde I mean like light brown or very dark blonde) because you can dye your hair more different colors and it'll be totally vibrant and stuff. It works kind of if your hair is dark but the darker your hair is, the less it shows up. My friend and I experimented. We tried to dye our hair red with that stuff. My friend Lana's hair, which naturally is dark blonde/light brown was like totally cool and my hair (which is dark brown) was just kind of tinted. At Walgreens it's about $5.50

Okay, im really like overwhelmed. First of all, block them.

Tell them that they're making you feel uncomfortable. If they're really nice they'd stop. And remember that if people are spreading rumours about you, if you just ignore them, people will eventually forget. Things will just kind of fade away and everything will be back to normal. That's what happens with all rumors. The reputation of the slut might stay with some people, but most don't really care. About giving up boys, you don't have to close them off yet. You can find someone outside of school, you know. And when you're in college it will be a fresh start and you'll find different guys. You won't be lonely for the rest of your life

About pregnancy, you should be worrying more about STDs. Some STDs, like clymydia and gonnorhoea can be easily cured if you do something about it quickly. HIV/AIDS canNOT. So go see a gynecologist. If you're pregnant you can get an abortion. If you've got an STD you have to do something QUICKLY before you get infected real bad.

Tomorrow I am going to a late audition for Cinderella. It's a musical. I have no fear of being onstage at all. The only thing that is scaring me is that I'm sick. My throat has crap all down that back of it so I have to constantly clear my throat. It was generous of Mrs.Jane to let me have a second chance to audition but my voice is far from it's best. I have been told that I can sing well, but I'm worried I will sound really bad tomorrow. Does anybody know of any way/remedy for my throat/voice? I'm a singer too. I used to go to choir with the flu and i sounded alright. Just sing like normal, ignore the phlegmy sound and the worst that you can do is strain your voice to try and hide the phlegmy sound. And if "Mrs. Jane" is really a professional, she'll be able to tell your experience and the way your voice sounds through the phlegm.

omfg i need an answer quickly please!
i am not really a cutter, only on occassions. today i was very stressed and cut, deep and long. I am a seventeen year old female and I am in love. What is the problem with this, you may ask? I shall tell you. The man I love is 7.5 years my senior (he's 25) and he lives in another continent. He says that he loves me as well, but I'm not sure how to make this relationship work. Can a 17 year old and a 25 year old really make it? Especially with him being so far away... He says he may move here in December, however, but then what? My parents would never approve and I crave their approval like I crave oxygen. I am at a loss. It probably could work if you set your mind to it, but it would probably eventually die away because you live too far away. Also I think he's a little old for you (this is only in general there could be exceptions).

But remember that you are only 17 and you're in high school (or college). An older guy who doesn't even live with you could be a distraction to college applications (if you're applying) I know this sounds really annoying and nerdy but you should focus on your schoolwork for now. Guys will come and go. But if you let this man get in the way of college you'll regret it later on.

Ok I had acne on my face and I got rid of it. Creams are a little too gentle so I would suggest getting an alcohol solution. Go to the pharmacy and have your mom say you've got face acne (it would be really weird if she said you'd gotten acne on your ass lol) and you should get Erythromycin Topical Solution USP, 2%. It comes in a white bottle with a white and yellow label. It's a prescription drug so you have do get it at the pharmacy
