Hey Everyone :) I'm Kate and a level 2 mod on here. I've had this account since July 2004, so I've been on here since I was 13! Wow ... crazy for me to think how long ago that was. I will admit I don't check in as often as I once did, but being away at college, being in a sorority, and having a job when I'm not at school is very time consuming. I still try to help out as much as possible, and if you send me a question I WILL answer it. I dont know what it is but when I wake up or go to the bathroom my underwear is wet. I check and its not blood(from periord) or pee. Its kinda whitish clear. And sometime when I go to the bathroom there is the string hanging down thats clear. I dont know what it is and its freaking me out! Girls, can you please help me?

It's just vaginal discharge.

It's our body's way of cleaning out our vagina.

It's nothing bad, just annoying. If it becomes a problem then you can wear panty liners.

Sometimes when I get out of the shower I experience itching, on my legs and arms. It also happens whenever I'm finished shaving.. (I don't shave all the time.)

I have no known allergies, I don't get any redness or rash, just little itches here and there, almost like pinpricks.

When it comes to shaving - it's just razor burn.

Now if you get the itching and you're not shaving, I have no idea.

Worst thing to do for razor burn is use lotion. I didn't know what was going on the first time I had razor burn. By the time I got to school the itching was so unbearable that I put lotion on my legs. It burnt so much I was in tears and I had to go to the nurse. That was my first lesson on razor burn and it wasn't a fun one.

Make sure that when you shave you're using some type of shaving cream or soap. It helps to prevent razor burn.

If it's not razor burn that is causing this then I'm sorry, I don't know what else it could be if it isn't allergies.

Then again, maybe you just don't know that you're allerigic to something.

Try using a new body wash and see if the problem stops. If it does, save whatever type of body wash you've been using and note the ingredients or bring it to the doctor and see if it's possible for you to be allergic to anything in it.

Kay can you actually get like a STD in your mouth from giving someone a blow job/giving head? if so like how possible is it, and is it extremely likely? i am curious? because i didn't think you could get anything in your mouth from pleasuring someones you know what area.

If he doesn't have anything then you are fine. The only way you can catch an STD from someone is if they have it. BUT, anyone can lie about whether or not they have an STD. So, just because he says that he doesn't have one it doesn't mean that he doesn't. If I were you, I would get both you and him checked. Normally it's free at the health department.

I once went to the doctor with some issues with my mouth and one of the first questions I was asked was if I had ever given oral sex to a guy. The nurse told me that, because of a lack of knowledge, a lot of girls have contracted Oral STDs from giving oral sex.

im a junior and i am supposed to create a rusumee. but the thing is since i moved here this year and i have to do it on my own. i have some teachers help but i want to write it before i show them so that they can help me further improve it.

If you have microsoft works word processor, they have a template on how to create a resume. They actually have a few. All you have to do is change what they say into your own words.

Or...

In the top center you put your first and last name.
Under that put your address (make it two lines)
Your phone number
Your e-mail

Hit enter a few times
Write your objective, title it Objective.
Hit enter twice
Write your qualifications, title it qualifications
Hit enter twice
List your education, high school and up, tell which years you attended. Title it Education.
Then do relavant experience, other experience/skills, and then you can either list sources, or say that sources are available upon request.

It's much easier to go online or through microsoft word to find pre-made resumes and just change the information to fit your own. They will look MUCH more professional if you do that.

A man who was married lie to me that he is single and said he will marry me and plan to marry me, therefore one night we have intercourse.
Then, due to his personal matters done before, he was jailed for two weeks.
He did lie to me in the very beginning that the case was not a criminal case. In fact it was a criminal case and he was the offender of the case.
When i visit him during his imprisonment, i found that he was married and i met his wife and talk to her for 10 hours, in fact it was his wife helping him to find the victims like me, to "feed" her husband, she provide the account for him to lie that it was his bank account etc..
i loved him so much and he wrote a letter to me that he will marry me immediately if he can be discharged (since the 2 weeks' jail was not a defined time, it depends whether i can get letter of pleading from the person with good social status ). He and his wife both promise me so.
Unexpectedly, after i got five letters of pleading and this guy then discharged from the imprisonment, everything changed , all the promises from the man and his wife gone.
What should i do ? Please help me....

This guy and his wife are crazy.

He's in jail for a criminal offense. He's married to an equally crazy wife.

Honestly, it needs a lot of work.

I have taken many creative writing courses, and in my most recent course, we have just finished our poetry unit.

This poem seems like an ameatuer's stream of conscious writing.

Anyway, your imagry is fairly decent, but, when writing poetry, you almost always have at least SOME structure.
This poem lacks flow which causes you to lose your readers. I didn't understand where you were going with it. It really didn't make much sense, either.
The first three lines make me think that something is coming, but really, they're just incomplete thoughts. It completely lost me.
How are you going from listing all of these thoughts to jumping to how you were there for the person. You need something inbetween that.

Also, to go back to structure, you have short, precise lines that are just getting longer and more complicated as you go.

The words in general are okay. You really need to work on the structure and flow of the poem.

i have moved a lot. i want to send my old friends something so i can keep in touch with them. what do you think i should do? would cards be fine? (i dont have much money to spend, but lots of friends). any ideas?

If it's just something to keep in touch with them, why don't you create an e-mail address if you don't already have one. Yahoo e-mail addresses are free, so are hotmail.

Or, if your parents allow it, you could create a myspace and/or facebook account. Both are great ways of keeping in touch (depending on your age). I've moved a few times, and so have a lot of my friends. Myspace, facebook, and e-mail are how we all keep in touch.

If you want, cards would be find to say hello and such, but e-cards are just as nice and they're inexpensive.

what prom hairstyles did you see at prom?

There were a lot of up-dos (sp?). Mine was kind of french braided almost, but just in the back to get it up. Then, once up, it was curly in almost a bun sort of fashion, but not really.

A few of my friends, who always wore their hair up, decided to keep theirs down with either big, loose curls, or just straight.

I would definitly suggest keeping your hair UP because it gets REALLY hot and sweaty/gross from all the dancing and a lot of people in a not-so-airconditioned room.

so, i have a few questions about the movie titanic...

does rose's mother not like jack, just because hes from third class, or because she knows that rose loves him and not cal?

why through out this whole movie, rose and her mother seem to be very upset and angry with eachother? even in the beginning of it?

why at the end did the old rose drop the diamond into the ocean?

theres an alternate ending to it, where mr. lovett finds out that the old rose still has the diamond, and he ask to see it, and she lets him hold it for a minute, then she drops it into the ocean, and then, the guy with the beard starts yelling at the old rose, and then mr. lovett( the guy who wants the diamond so bad) he starts laughing, and pointing at the guy with the beard. i dont understand why he laughs then.

1.) The reason she originally doesn't like him is because he's of the lower class. I'm sure that, eventually, Rose loving him is probably apart of it, too. Think about it though, why would she be upset that Rose loves him and not Cal? It all leads back to Jack being lower class.

2. Rose, even though it doesn't always seem like it, never 100% enjoyed the "rich" life and all of its benefits and such. Her mother and her just didn't agree on everything and never really saw eye to eye in most situations.

3. I think this is one of those open-ended opinion questions. I always believed that it was because the diamond represented Cal and her past life, the riches and stuff. It's kind of like if an old boyfriend gives you something that was really meaningful at the time, but then something big and bad happens. You're not going to keep it because, although you love the gift, it represents bad stuff.

4. I've never seen the alternate ending so I don't think I could help you with this one. He may have started laughing because he understands how much the people wanted it and he understands the adverse reactions that Rose has when the diamond comes up and how she "just had to" get rid of it. Once again, I've never seen the alternate ending, so I wouldn't know for sure.

I'm a junior girl this year and am going to prom for the first time! I don't have a date but am going with some friends! I am so excited. But are there any tips or advice I need? I have already practiced hardcore walking in my heels, have a dress, and a hair and make up appointment. What I want to know is what is actual PROM like?

I'm a senior this year and I've been to the prom twice already, once my junior year to actually go, and once my senior year to help work it (the theme called for extra workers).

At your school, is your homecoming dance fancy or casual?
At my school the homecoming is casual, but we also have a semi-formal dance.
The best way I know how to explain it is homecoming but for juniors and seniors only.

At my schools prom, it's just a dance where we are extra fancy in out attire. Sure, the decorations are usually pretty nice and it's a bit nicer than most school dances, but that's really all it is.

If I could do it over again, I probably would only go to my senior prom. (For some reason, seniors always have more fun at prom).

Maybe I feel this way because at my junior prom there were more sophomores there than anything [you know, from upperclassman bringing their underclasmmen dates].
My prom last year felt more like a regular dance and less special, which is why I didn't enjoy it as much.

Don't get me wrong, prom is a blast, but most people go with too-high of expectations.


Then again, it differs from school to school. There are some schools around here that have AMAZING proms. People from all over try and find dates from those schools to get to go. I suppose it really all depends on the school.

I will say that you already have the basics down though. Walking in heels was the biggest pain for me. I actually ended up just taking my shoes off and leaving them at a table, as most girls did.

Sorry about the length, I just really need advice!!!

Okay, I'm just going to get straight to the point.
The other day me & my boyfriend was having sex.
I don't want lectured about whether I should be or not, I'm old enough to make my own decisions.

I just need serious help!

Okay, I'm on birth control, ortho trycyclin, or whatever, I have been since November, 2006. Wednesday I was supposed to have start taking the pills to start my period, today is Friday, and I still aint bleeding.

So today, me and my boyfriend was having sex, and well, the condom broke, this is the first time this has ever happened to me, and I'm literally freaking out.

He says he pulled out before he got off, but theres always pre-cum. And the thing is, when he pulled out, it was a couple seconds later, he cummed, I felt the cum against my bed sheets, so I jolted higher on my bed, over to the side, basically so none would get inside of me.

I ended up taking an extra pill; tomarrow nights pill.

After that, I got a Vaginal Contraceptive Film thingy, the thing that kills the sperm, if any got inside of me, I told him to insert it.
He did.

I'm so concerned over what to do, I dont want to get pregnant.

Although, I've been cummed in before.
I didnt get pregnant.
I'm so freaked out over this.

To be honest, I'm unsure of what exactly could have happened from taking the extra pill; maybe it's nothing, maybe it's something. For that information you'll probably have to consult a medical professional (you could even call the local pharmacy). I've always been told that you can't have your period/bleed while pregnant, BUT one of my friends had been having some issues and went to see a doctor. When the doctor said she could be pregnant, my friend told the nurse/doctor that it wasn't possible because she had had her period the following month after having sex. The nurse/doctor told my friend that it didn't matter. SO, although I've always been told to the contrary, this medical person did tell her that it was still possible to be pregnant.
If you say that your bleeding is currently not at its normal amount, then there may be something wrong. The stress may be the reason for the light bleeding, or it could just be nothing. If you want to be on the safe side, I suggest at least calling the doctor. If whomever you speak with decides that you should come in for an appointment, then schedule one.
If you're not an adult and/or need your parent/guardian to schedule your appt, just tell them that you're not feeling well and, once you get to the doctor, ask if you can go in alone. You might even be able to call up there after the appt was made but before you go, to make sure the doctor knows the real reason your visiting and can be prepared. Because of doctor/patient confidentiality, the doctor can't tell your parents anything you don't want them to know.

There's really nothing any of us can do to make the situation better.
Sure, we could virtually hold your hand and coddle you, but it's not going to do anything. No matter how much you don't want to become pregnant, if it happens it happens.

Your best option as of right now is to just calm down. You were careful, you used protection, even if it broke. I'm not so sure that it was smart for you to have taken an extra pill. Doesn't that mess up the system? Birth Control pills only work to their extreme if used properly.

Anyway, if you do end up skipping your period then hold your breath and take that pregnancy test.

As you said, you're old enough to make your own decision, which include sex. Part of making that decision means knowing how to deal with any consequences that may or may not occur.

But, if you continue stressing over what may or may not be, then it will delay your period and cause you even more stress.

My advice to you is to just relax and wait it out. You've done what you can and now you're just going to have to wait and see.

Well my high school holds banquets for athletes at the end of our seasons. For us it's usually just a nice dinner and stuff.

Then again, our banquet for Varsity basketball is just going to be pizza, soda, cake, and kind of an awards ceremony type of thing, for players and coaches only, though.


I guess if it's a banquet rather than a graduation then it's going to be some kind of simple food, maybe award-ish stuff, kind of like a grad party held by the school.

If you're already a girly-girl, then you could get away with wearing a skirt or a cute dress (Target, Maurices, American Eagle, etc all have cute dresses) or if you're not usually a girly girl (or if you are) you can wear a cute skirt and top.

Why don't you just ask your friends what they're wearing? It may work out better so you're not the only one dressed up or dressed down.

now that on facebook they've changed the privacy settings, when i go to message someone who is not my friend, it says:

how do you edit those settings? under "'privacy" can someone please give me some step-by step tips?

From what I understand of this question, you don't want people who you message and aren't friends with to be able to see that stuff? Is that what you want to chance? If it is, you can't do that.

What you can do, which is only semi better, is to edit what you have for that information under your profile settings.

No matter what, if you message someone who you aren't friends with, they will be able to see part of your profile. The only say you have in that is by editing what is shown in those sections.


If that's not what you meant by your question, then please clarify and I'll try to figure it out.

i have bulimia and nobody knows and it's starting to really effect my life. tired all the time, constantly in the bathroom, can only think about food, can't concentrate in school etc. i throw up everything. i don't know if i want to tell but like whats the best thing to do to get help? because if i do decide to get help i want to do something that will REALLY help and hopefully i can get rid of this. it's the biggest mistake i've ever made, so would going to like a center type thing where you stay there be the best thing?

i can honestly say i don't know how to eat. i either eat sooo much i purge or i don't eat anything. theres no balance.

i've been like this for over a year, two years in november. ah i've never said this out loud though, i just don't know what to do. nothing has ever convinced me enough to tell.

I had an eating disorder when I was in middle school, I was anorexic. I understand most of what you're going through because of my experiecne.

I had out-patient care, which is when you receive help but you don't actually go to a clinic. I also wasn't as far into the anorexia as most people are when they get help. My parents noticed it early on and sent me to psychiatrists all over the city until I found one I really took a liking to.

Anyway, if you feel it would help you more, I would talk to your parents and see what they think about in-patient care, which is where you actually go and stay at a clinic.

Your first step should be to tell somebody. If you can't tell your parents yourself, then go to a school teacher, friend, councilor, etc. who is able to inform your parents for you.

Once your parents know, it will get easier to stop yourself because you'll have all sorts of support. Take care of yourself, get help.
If you think you can recover through out-patient care then by all means, try it. If you think it would be easier to spend time in in-patient care, go for it.
Whatever you do, speak out and get help!

Okay I just got my SAT scores back...

540 math
450 reading
380 writing

It was my first time taking it and i was kind of caught off guard... so i just decided to answer EVERYTHING... even the grid in questions in the math (as in just pick a random number) because i COMPLETELY forgot that wrong answers are minus points... so i didnt leave ANYTHING blank...

I also have almost straight A's in all my classes... just one B usually and rest A's... and i take all the honors and AP classes i can...

So with that will I be accepted to USF??? I know no one really knwos but What's the SAT score that USF is looking for??? (University of South Florida)

And what are the other school's like? usually...

also does anyone knwo about standard SAT score for University of Florida??? (everyone was surprised when my friend with 970 SAT score got accepted)

I would have to assume that their 970 was from the old SAT, not the new one.

For you, on the old SAT, you would have only gotten a 990. USF's average is 1050-1200 (writing section NOT included). You are roughly 100 points shy of the low average (once again, do NOT include the WRITING SECTION).

Oh, and the grid-math questions, they don't count off points if you get those incorrect because they're not multiple choice.

My suggestion to you, take the SAT again. At least until you get into the 1000s without the writing section. Make sure that when you answer questions to skip those you are 100% clueless of.

Most schools who use the new SAT standards will want around a 1500ish or so.
All you have to do is google the schools that you're interested in, and check out their "profiles' for students.
