Happens to me all the time. Just try to relax and lay in bed. AIM or the TV usually doesn't help. Try reading, if you are SUPER bored. ♥

I live in Utah and I expect everyone to have big opinions on my religion because it is different. My boyfriend is LDS (morman) and I am Lutheran. We have breifly dicussed if we were to get married, where would it be at. He wants a temple wedding and I want my chruch wedding. There is no way I would convert. But we seem to argue about this a lot. I am scared I might lose him because of this. How can I settle it without losing him?
PLEASE DON'T TAKE THIS THE WRONG WAY.. But if he truly loves you and its totally meant to be, you both will come to a compromise. I mean, what's wrong with getting married and not having the same religion. Maybe you could opt for a beach wedding or not in a church or temple so neither feels left out, and have his priest, or whoever, come along with yours to marry you two. I've seen so many Jewish/Catholic weddings like that.

I am to be Chrismated this week at my new Church. It is Melkite Greek Orthodox Catholic Church. I am disappointed that my grandparents refuse to come. On top of that they did not tell me the true reason that they aren't coming. They told me that it was the "weekly hair appointment" that couldn't be changed. Which is garbage. My father told me they would not come because their beliefs do not match. How do they know that without even walking in the church one time? I mean really. I don't know why I am suprised, but it has hurt my feelings a little bit.
They are good people and build churches as part of a mission in the Baptist Church. I have been Baptist up until now but two things have guided me to this church: the need to be a little more celebratory of Christ's Resurrection and Saviour of us people, and my fiance is the Cantor. If my fiance wasn't the Cantor or we weren't together, I would still like to be a part of this church.
I have tried and tried to explain that this is not the Roman Catholic Church and some of the things I have learned. They are so prejudiced as to what a Catholic is to them. Which at one time I heard: mean, Italian, and wrong. Which none of the three are true.
I realize that they aren't going to change to my religion ever, but I am a bit upset they wouldn't come for my sake. At least they are coming to the wedding.
So do I bug them every day until the event so that I can see them, or just let it go? How can I get them to understand my decision?
There is nothing wrong with your decision. You should actually try and talk with them again, and tell them exactly how you feel. It is your life, and you should live it the way you want. I'm sure you want them there, so I would tell them "This is my beliefs, you are entitled to yours, but in respect of me, I'd like you to come." Good luck ♥

Okay, I'm not one to really "bare it all" but this is my philosophy on it.
I have big boobs. Sometimes it's not that I want make my cleavage stick out, but I like the trend or style.
I mean, yes, rape and stuff does happen, but it doesn't mean that you can't appreciate your sexuality. If you are proud of your body, and your not really bothering anyone, what's the big deal? I mean yeah I don't really care wearing tube tops and short shorts, but some people make them feel.. feminine. Get what I mean? You can't live in fear your whole life. But, I do agree, some girls do look for it, but by the way they ACT, not the way they dress.

Okay...so I'm 13, and I have long legs, I'm 5'3" and long brown hair...I'm tired of wearing the same old clothes, and I'm not that girly, more into blues and blacks...see,the problem is that I live in a really expensive town in Italy and so I can rarely buy stuff, and I go to a rich private school where all my friends buy the latest most expensive stuff, which I can't afford...I need a change(not too big) and new clothes...I have no idea what to do...help???

okay for you older high school students...i`m a freshman in H.S. and i was wondering do you think when you do your eyeshadow you should just find one really good color like a certain shade of bronze that looks really good, or should you wear eyeshadow that matches your clothes?
Occasionaly, I use a brown/goldish, like a bronze like you are saying lol. Matching sometimes, it looks a bit cheesy if you don't do it properly. ♥ also check in Seventeen they have a whole article about eyeshadow and how to get the perfect shade, I'm sure they have the article online also! ♥

When I'm at the beach, or when I'm out in the sun for long periods of time, I never wear sunblock (if anything, I use like, a tanning lotion or something)...and I tan easily (I have mostly Dominican in me, and we're able to tan easily), I rarely burn. But lately the whole "skin cancer" thing is freaking me out. I like being tan, and the fact that I tan easily. If I wore sunblock, can I still get a tan? I heard that you can, it just blocks the bad sun rays...is this true? Or does sunblock completely block the sun??
You can still use sunblock and get a tan. It prevents burning, not tanning ♥

I recently got a haircut and my hairdresser cut way too much off! I was wondering if there were any products out there that could make my hair grow back faster. I know theres probably not much out there that could really make my hair grow 'faster' but even something to make it grow in healthier would be just fine. i'm about to have a bath and wash my hair, can you help? every time i wash my hair, i use pantene pro-vo, then i blow dry it, and it's really frizzy, even when i use all the frizz ease products on it. how can i stop the frizz? is there any particular way to wash my hair, or how to rinse it easily after putting in shampoo/conditioner? when i've got out of the bath, what should i do to my hair? i have stuff like gel spray, mousse, frizz ease, heat protection spray, hair straighteners, hair spray and stuff like that, but i'm not sure what to use and in what order, because i really need to stop the frizz tomorrow, i get really fluffy/flyaway hair and i'm getting teased because of it =(

I want to make my hair look sort of touseled, sexy, curly. People tell me to use gel to scrunch it but it just makes it look chunky and wet...anything else I can do to make it look dry yet touseled?
BELIEVE IT OR NOT.. I found this out on mistake. Wash your hair, or if its not washed, dampen it with a spray bottle. If you just washed it, blow dry it a little bit, but it needs to be a little damp. Then braid your hair. The next morning, take the braid out and run your fingers thru your hair. It works everytime for me! You might want a little hairspray, it's up to you ♥

My bf and i are going to 2 proms this year and we're not sure if he should buy or rent a tux for them. What do you think would be cheaper. I've seen commericals for the Men's Wearhouse, I believe $50 for a rental, and if you rent 4, [I think this is for a wedding tho, they might make an exception] you get one free of cost, so maybe your bf and 3 of his friends can go. OKay, I want to put self tanner on my legs and arms, but I have a few questions (just for those who have dont it before...please!)
Is it safe to apply to arms and how do I do it w/o it streaking. Also, if I sweat will it bleed onto my clothes? And are their any other tips?
If I mess up...how do I remove the tanner?
Okay =] I haven't done self tanning to myself, and I know you want someone with experience, but I live in a state with cold winters and my friends have, so I do know alot.
You can apply it to your arms, try to do it in perfect motions to prevent streaking. It shouldn't bleed onto your clothes, but if its not a good brand, it might.
Another tip is they have something called a Spray Tan Jet, which I believe is like $30, which is worth it for an even tan. It's like a spray on thing that you can use multiple times over and over [its a machine] that guarantees a perfect tan.
To remove it, you can find removal towellettes at Sephora or your local pharmacy.
