I want to make my hair look sort of touseled, sexy, curly. People tell me to use gel to scrunch it but it just makes it look chunky and wet...anything else I can do to make it look dry yet touseled?

kelly_elaine answered Friday March 11 2005, 10:10 am: If your hair is straight then you need to use a stronger hair product...But, if your hair is kinda wavy then when your hair is wet, comb it out and turn your head up-side down and use Rave hairspray! and then just get a towel and scrunch it with that! It will make your hair look great! [ kelly_elaine's advice column | Ask kelly_elaine A Question ]

And there is a product by John Frieda but i forget what it is...you can probably look it up online. You could use hot rollers and keep them in for a while and then just tousle it around. Have fun and leave 1 in my inbox for more help. :) x0 [ VeLvtxRevoLvr213's advice column | Ask VeLvtxRevoLvr213 A Question ]
RaCheLbaYbEe answered Thursday March 10 2005, 3:01 pm: Use those REALLY big curlers or a hair curler thats specifically for big curls. Scrunching your hait probably wont work like you said because its meant to look like really SMALL curls but thars not what your looking for. You should probably try to find some products before/after curling =) ♥ [ RaCheLbaYbEe's advice column | Ask RaCheLbaYbEe A Question ]
rainbowsend answered Thursday March 10 2005, 2:23 pm: It only works to just scrunch with gel if your hair has at least some wave to it. If your hair is completely straight, then you'll have to resort to curlers, curling iron, etc. to get curly hair.
xoxlilshortyxox answered Wednesday March 9 2005, 8:48 pm: To scrunch I usually do it when my hairs wet and I take gel, mousse, and/or hairspray and curl it with my hands if that doesn't work get curlers.
