eyeshadow--more for the older people
okay for you older high school students...i`m a freshman in H.S. and i was wondering do you think when you do your eyeshadow you should just find one really good color like a certain shade of bronze that looks really good, or should you wear eyeshadow that matches your clothes?

Occasionaly, I use a brown/goldish, like a bronze like you are saying lol. Matching sometimes, it looks a bit cheesy if you don't do it properly. ♥ also check in Seventeen they have a whole article about eyeshadow and how to get the perfect shade, I'm sure they have the article online also! ♥

Do not wear eyeshadow that maches your clothes! That is just so old. Everyone I know wears a bronze.

It really depends because different people look good in different eyeshadow shades. I wouldnt suggest wearing bright clothes-matching shadow EVERY day, but like, 2wice a week when your feeling fun. I prefer no eyeshadow, and instead, i use gold glitter liquid eyeliner and it looks really pretty. well to me, lol.

well dont just choose one eyeshadow cause it will get old.. but dont match eyeshadow with your clothing cause it wont always look good with your eyes.. but a bronze color looks okay with most things but if you wear bright colors likeyellow or green it isnt going to look right.. i'd wear like a light white eyeshadow with something like that.. and i wouldnt jus wear eyeshadow i would also wear eyeliner so it stands out more.. hope i helped ~*DEZ*~ Thuggirl041790

Well, if I'm wearing a shirt with some pink in it, then I'll wear pink eyeshadow, mainly because it looks good on me, but umm yeah. It's somewhat tacky to wear eyeshadow just that matches what you're wearing, because if blue eyeshadow doesn't look that good on you, and you're wearing a blue shirt, then don't wear blue eyeshadow. Mainly it depends on your skin tone/color, and whatever looks good on you. It doesn't really matter, just wear what you think looks cute. If pink looks good on you, then where pink, and if you're wearing pink in your clothing to, well then who cares :-). I'm only a freshman in high school, and I just started really wearing makeup not too long ago, so this is just my opinion. Do whatever you want. I've seen much crazier things with makeup rather than just matching you clothes or anything like that.

I dont personally like eyshadow that matches your clothing, but thats just me. Light and dark browns are really good because they sort of blend with your eyes but give them more definition. Light pinks are also good.

well it kinda depends what skin color you are...
if youre pale- greens/ blues/ pinks
if your tan- browns/tans/golds
if your dark- bronzes/purples

well it depends on YOU. wear it however YOU want it. i guess it all varies on diff people, and how they do their make-up. i think matching colors to the outfit looks so rad. bronze also looks good, but sometimes it doesn't match. sorry, i;m not much help. good luck! =)

Hey babe, alrighty, I'm in highschool and to tell you the truth,I just moved to Arizona from Virginia ,and I am all about not mathing eyeshadow...it actually looks realli cool, everyone at my school does it, which bothers me because I hate being like other people, but hey! lol its life, but yeah, if you wear a bright blue shirt, you could either wear bright blue eyeshadow with blue, green, or black eyeliner...or you could wear yellow eyeshadow on top AND bottom, you should just go crazy, dont care about what others think of u!

bronze looks good on every one. and if u dont like that just try to match your chosen eyeshadow color with your outfit and if your wearing black then chose any color. i hope i helped!

The real truth is that you should never wear eyeshadow that goes with your outfit; you have to wear eyeshadow that goes with your eyes (well that's what a make up artist told me and that's what I always knew). I would find a certain shade of bronze that you would look good on you. Hope I helped :)

It depends on what kind of look you're going for. I prefer to stick with a brown color that looks good with anything. Mostely see people using brown or green eyeshadow depending on the colors they're wearing. If they're wearing neon colors, it's best to go with just the black or green eye shadow. Mellow colors look better with brown.

I would go with what you like for what you are wearing. Unless its like yellow like something bright like that or red. Or blue unless you do light blue just stick with the light colors on your eyes. Use white if you cant match and/or put sparkles on the white (its rele cute if u see it)-trix
