I have really really wavy hair and I was wondering how to straighten it and keep it straight for the day without drying it out or causing it to break or start dandriff. Any suggestions?
amore05 answered Saturday February 26 2005, 9:46 pm: i know what you mean,
i always straighten my hair, well my hair is straight naturally but i like it even straighter.
anyway you can get this hair straightner at Sally Beauty Supply for $80 bucks, or they have cheaper ones, and those hair straightner dont burn you hair at all.
i have this simple hair straightner that is not all that good, but i use my cousins and hers is awesome she got it at Sally.
i hope i helped. [ amore05's advice column | Ask amore05 A Question ]
EpAsh2010 answered Monday February 21 2005, 10:09 am: You Could Use Something Like Citre Shine and then use a straightener on your hair. :)
I do!! =) (*But Don't Stick A lot Of Citre Shine In Your Hair*) Or You can Just Straighten It with a Straightener (*You Can Buy Them At Any Big Store Like Walmart, K-Mart, ect.*)

THEN STRAIGHTEN! To keep your hair healthy, use a good shampoo and conditioner. [ sshelbyy's advice column | Ask sshelbyy A Question ]

netsirk07 answered Friday February 4 2005, 2:26 pm: What you need to do is get a clip and put middle and top section in the clip and then straighten your bottom part then let the middle section go and straighten that and then let the top section go and straighten that. Then it will be straight for the entire day.
hope i helped **

FernGully answered Friday February 4 2005, 2:20 pm: If you want to make sure your hair doesn't dry out, try to go a few days without straightening your hair. So if you straighten it on a Monday, try not to straighten is on Tuesday and Wednesday. See what I'm saying? Straightening your hair will always do damage, but if you don't do it every day and very frequently, you can minimize the damage it does.
Also, look into buying home hot-oil treatments, they sell them at most drug stores that sell shampoos and hair products. A hot-oil treatment only takes a few minutes and it will put some moisture back into your hair. [ FernGully's advice column | Ask FernGully A Question ]
