this is long, sorry.

i know this guy named Corbin, & he goes to my church. he'll be in 10th grade, but i'll be in 9th. he's good friends with my brother, because they both like the same music and they were in the church worship band together.

i went down to this church camp for a cookout and concert w/ my church, and he was there. when we were waiting for the concert to start, me and him and like 5 other people from my church were out there. there was this piano, and i started to mess around and play this really pretty song, Clair DeLune. well he's like really good i guess, and he came over to the piano and showed me how i did it wrong, then played the first minute or so perfectly. and i kindof have a weakness for guys who are good on the piano/guitar/ect... and then when he was done, he played "The Luckiest" by Ben Folds, which is my favorite song and it's amazing. that song always makes me cry, so of course i teared up a little, and he gave me a big hug and such.

this concert was three christian rock bands, and the third one is called Our Hearts Hero. they're really good friends with our church and such. when they got on stage, i was in the front row, standing. and corbin came adn stood right behind me. there was other places to go, but idk. so when they started to play a slow and sad song, i looked in this mirror that was on the wall behind the stage, and i saw that corbin was looking at me. i was too scared to turn around, so i just payed attention to the band.

after the concert, corbin came over to me, and we started talking about showchoir and how i was thinkign about quitting, for next year. he's in the band that plays with them, and he was like begging me to do it, and he said "please? do it for me, we'll see eachother every day!"

soo the basic question i have here is that how can i know he likes me? i mean he goes to my church and i see him a lot so i don't want it to be awkward if i ask him and he says no.
i really want himt o like me because he's everything i want in a guy...

I do cheerleading with my friend Stephie. she's one of my goood friends and she's also good friends with my two best friends sarah and johanna. Well me and my best friends have this trip to california planned out and its been planned for a long time. all of a sudden my friend Stephie was invited. online that night i IMed my friend sarah and told her that stephie was invited. turns out that stephie was on sarah's account. i told her i didn't mean it in a mean way, which i didn't! its just that we've had this planned with just my best friends and she was invited. the thing is, when i talked to my friend sarah about her being invited..she didn't mind at all. and weeks before she would mind even if stephanie was invited to something!

Well, you can either hook him up with a cute friend of yours & see how things go for them, OR you can just flat out tell him. I realize the thing here is not to be rude because you don't wanna hurt his feelings or make him mad at you, but he's not getting the point when you do it nicely.

Just tell him as best as you can and as straight forward as possible that you don't like him that way, and never will & that he should just stop liking you. You're not interested & then just do as you please. If you like his friend, then go for it. He doesn't own you, so don't be afraid to do what you want.

my best friend and i have been doing gymnastics together for a long time. the gym we've gone to is really good (the best in the state), but its really far away and really expensive.

well, this year i decided to try out for cheerleading at my school, and i made it. i thought i'd be able to stay on my gymnastics team, but it just wouldnt work out with the cheer schedule. so i changed to another gym thats a lot closer to my house. its a lot smaller than my old gym and the team is not as good. and it was really hard to leave my old teammates! but at least i can still do gymnastics, which i love, and also cheerleading.

well, now my best friend keeps making remarks about my new gym... like how small it is, how bad the coaches are, how ugly the leotards are, and how she'd never go there. and she keeps bragging about how good she's getting, and how great things are going at our old gym. and then she has these parties and sleepovers with all our teammates from the old gym (who i know as well as she does), and she doesnt invite me. but she makes sure i hear about it. it really makes me feel bad.

i dont want to get in a big fight with her becuz i still have to see her at school and stuff, and we do some other activities together. but it really hurts when she does this stuff. why is she being so mean??

She's being mean because she's a stuck up bitch. You didn't see it before but now that things have changed for you, her true colors are really showing.

My advice? Stay away from her & stop talking to her. Either that or tell her to stop being such a bitch. She's not better than you or anyone else & she's stupid to think that she is.

Just forget everything. Clear your head before you go out & start thinking about everything you're going to do. Be like "I'm going shopping with my friends in a limo & going out to dinner, woo!" And it should get you pumped.

Friends share the bed with one another, sometimes. But when that happens to the person you told that you like them more than a friend it is hard to understand there side. What I mean is that I told my friend about myself and I was expressing my feelings to her. she said she not feel the same about me and she not ready for any relationship and not sure what gender she is interested. She was there to understand and I was glad she is and a great friend, I'm not ready for a relationship too (with a women.) As the movie ended Sara stay on the bed with me as I lay down she lay down too, but my feet was to her head as her feet to my head. I told her that I might kick her as I slept she said "so what , I kick u back." Now It got me confused about her, she is a touchy close person to me and now she does THIS! Why is that? i'm 17/f. i don't like drinking. i don't find a point in it. my mom and my sister drink all of the time. it makes them do ridiculously stupid things; typical when you are drunk. my mom has done things like walked into doors, broken valuable things of hers, fallen down the stairs with my cat in her hand, and so on and so forth. my sister is only 19, and she drinks almost every night out of the week. her and her boyfriend broke up over her heavy alcohol use. now, my boyfriend is starting to become a big alcohol user. when i try saying something to them, they say i'm preaching to them, or i'm making everyone mad by preaching to them. what can i say? i'm so sick of everyone telling me i'm preaching to them. i don't like the people they are when they are drinking, and either is my dad. my dad's not even talking to my mom anymore. i need advice on what to say. i don't want to cry about the way things are around my house anymore. any advice would be greatly appreciated. thanks :)

I'm sorry that this is happening, but there is nothing you can do except try to get them help. They're never going to stop on their own, so help them whether they like it or not. Don't even tell them, just get them help.

I might be in highschool, but my major is psychology, and I plan on doing this as my career. I just finished school & an interesting semester taking a Psychology course & am now going onto AP Psychology, so I think I'd be able to help in some sort of way.

We learned sleep in the beginning of the semester & I was told [I also read about it in my textbook] that sleepwalking, sleeptalking & nightmares or nightterrors were sleep disorders. Not to say they're going to make you weird or whatever, but they can sort of be bad to have. You could be saying [or doing] some dangerously suggestive things when you sleepwalk or talk. It's best you see a doctor about this so you have someone to talk to about it.

I doubt it's anything to worry about though, I was talking in my sleep just last night, and I do it everyday. How do I know? I catch myself & hear myself talking. Haha, but I think you should be fine; but see that doctor just in case!

There's this amazing girl, let's call her Jamia. She's in 10th grade and we have one too many things in common [we have more in common than she has with her TWIN sister]. I'm in 9th grade by the way. Anyways, we are both strong supporters of LGBT [lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transsexual.]

my boyfriend and i live very far apart. a while back i introduced him to a friend. while i was in a group home, he cheated on me with her, and once when i got back. we have been off and on the past year. and before that we were together 3 years. i go on his myspace to make sure she don't leave him comments. and i leave him one. he had her on his top friends for a while, and finally took her off completely cuz i made him. im worried she is going to do something to mine and his relationship again. how can i get her to leave his and my relationship alone and get him to stay away from her.

It doesn't matter who initiated the cheating -- the both of them went along with it & acted on it. So don't just blame her. Your boyfriend did it too.

If they're going to do things, then it's gonna happen & you can't stop it. Just stop your worrying by breaking up with him. He's proved that he can't be faithful, so why does he deserve this chance? He'll probably do it again, so just end it now before you get hurt again.
