Well if you're a girl you should pick "Big Girls Don't Cry" by fergie, it is a powerful song that is easy to memorize, and if you hit it perfectly you can wow people, or "This is my now", jordin sparks sang it and its really good. Or if you're a guy, I would pick "Cat and Mouse" by red jumpsuit apparatus or my favorite one to sing "you raised me up" i dont know who sings it but it is a good one.

Go onto any lyrics site & search them. The band is lead by a girl, so it should be fairly easy.
