If the rapist is not turned into the police and thrown in jail then yes. Anyone who rapes a girl, whether they are known by her or not should be turned in to the police.

& I have started my period about 3 in a half years ago.
I havent gotten my period in 2 months i was supposed to get it a while ago. No i never in my whole entire life did anything with a guy. I NEVER had sex. I have just NEVER EVER done anything with a guy. My mom is really worried and i am too. Do you know any reason why i wouldnt of had gotten my period? thank you so much. (link)

Stress and playing sports can cause it not to come.
Its normal to miss a couple of periods a year. Any more than that and you should probably consult with your doctor. :)

This girl in my class, is writing a book. Well.. let me show how I found out first.. lol. ok, one of my best friends, Hillary, sits next to this girl morgan in math. So, hillary saw these two pieces of paper, & they had my name & a bunch of other peoples names [everyone in my homeroom to be exact] & then next to our names was a different name, so my friend hillary asked her what that was.. & shes like.."Oh, i'm writing a story" & then later on that day, at lunch we were all talking at lunch.. & hillarys like.."Yeah, morgans making a story about all of us in homeroom" & then i was like.."thats kinda creepy? haha" so then I decided to ask her about it.. so I went over to her.. & I was like.."So, I hear your writing a story..whats it about..?" & she goes.."Its a murder story." & I was like...."ok?" & then I asked more about it.. & shes like "Yeah, its kinda like saw.. where everyone kills eachother, & each person, I'm gonna have them get killed differently" & then I was likee. all freaked out .. like wouldnt you think thats tottaly weird if someone is writing about how you die??
Well, it gets better. haha..now, she decided me hillary & this other girl.. are all gonna get tortured in the school basement, & then we die.
WOULD YOU BE CONCERNED?

These days you can't be to cautious in my book.
If you want to mention it to mom then go for it.
What she looks like has nothing to do with it.
That really isn't something that needs written at school. If it is a book she needs to do that on her own time. If its a school assignment then she will probably be called on it when she turns it in. :)

Okay I know that this has been asked before but here it goes... my best friend has a boyfriend who she's been going out with for almost two years and I'm really happy for her because she's a great person and all and so is he, and they're really happy together. But the thing is, I feel like she puts him ahead of my other friends and me. For example, I had a theatre show that I performed in and she knew how important it was to me, but at the very last minute, she called me and told me she couldn't go because she was hanging out with her boyfriend. I got really mad and sometimes, when I think about how all of my other friends came and my best friend didn't, I still get mad. But now it's like all they do is hang out with each other and we don't hang out as much as we used to... if she has a choice to hang out with her closest friends or boyfriend, she'll always pick her boyfriend, hands down. And lately, it seems like she only hangs out with us when her boyfriend is busy. I don't know, I think I'm being a little selfish sometimes about this, and yes, I do have a lot of other friends I can hang out with, but she's my best friend and of course I'm happy for her but geez it's not like their newlyweds, it's a high school relationship. If they have been going out 2 years then its a pretty serious relationship.
The thing is that once a girl gets a boyfriend, the other friends aren't number one anymore. That's just the way it is once a relationship gets serious.
That doesn't mean she needs to ditch her other friends every time. You need to talk to her and tell her how much it hurt you that she didn't come. It might help if next time you have something you want her to attend, ask her and her boyfriend.
I know it is upsetting but one day you will be acting the same. Try to have patience with her. And do talk to her and let her know how you feel. Maybe you can have a girls day out where its just you and her out having fun. Make it once a week, or whatever fits your schedules. :)

I was wondering why you're not aloud to just take your medicine and that you always need to eat food before you take your medicine? Like if it's really serious, you don't have time to eat food, you gotta eat your medicine as soon as possible and hope it's working! (link)

If its really serious you go ahead and take the medicine. Like the others have said, some medicine
can make some people get heartburn, or acidic stomach and nausea if not taken with food. Take it with milk if you have to, that will help. But ALWAYS take your medicine.
I have one I have to take on an empty stomach. It just depends on what the medicine is. :)

You should probably go to the doctor and have your blood sugar checked to be on the safe side.
Do you have any relatives with diabetes? Excessive thirst and frequent urination are signs of that. Doesn't mean you have it, but it should be ruled out.

I am 16 years old female, and I wondering how severe is an ovarian cyst, and other information about it:
1)How severe is it or how severe can it possibly get (I heard it somewhat depends by age group)?
2)How do they detect it (A gyno), and how do they remove it?
3)Is the non-cancerous cysts potentially fatal or can cause illness?
4)What are the common symptoms of having one? How can you tell if you have it?
5)How long can you possibly go untreated?
I am asking these questions because I think I may have a cyst. I haven't had my period in nearly a year, so I am concerned, as well as my family and friends. I know it may be for other reasons but ever since I heard this may be the reason, I got pretty worried. So please give me very thorough answers. And links are OK with me, too, as long as they answer my questions.

About 3 years ago, I fell in love with a band named Queen (as my username states :P). And well...what can I say? It was love at first listen. I FELL IN LOVE with Queen. I started collecting all of their CD's, books, vinyls, shirts, etc. I've had a crazy obsession with them for the past 3 years. My whole ROOM is Queen...I know the group members, and seen the two that are still alive in concert. Queen is all I ever talk and think about...they're like my second group of parents. I don't know whether its sick or not...but I've noticed it's been getting on people's nerves. Teachers have made comments telling me to lay off Queen. The first album I ever bought was a Queen album. Have been a favorite for years! I have all their albums as well. I even have a couple of 45's.
Great to love a band so much, not so great to talk about nothing else. As a fan you want people to appreciate their music. If you talk of nothing else you are turning people off. Don't want to do that.
So I'll say it is OK to plaster your room with Queen, just talk about something else when with other people. Don't want people to think you don't know anything else! Man I miss Freddie! :)

Hi, I'm a homosexual 16 year old guy, I'll be 17 in two days. I was in a 10 month serious stable relationship with an 18 year old guy. We met in high school. We were perfect together, spent so much time together, had a great time together. He was like my best friend. I loved him and he loved me. We were in deep love. From when we first started dating, he told me where he stood on drugs. He's against them and does not like them at all. I was under the influence once when he caught me. I cried the whole night and asked for his forgiveness. I promised him I would never do it again. He gave me a chance. We were great for about 6 more months. I had used substances behind his back a couple of times, I didn't do it because I didn't love him... I honestly can't explain why, I just did, you know? So eventually... the day before our 10 month anniversary, he sat me down and talked to me. He was like "Look, I know you've done certain things behind my back.." and so from there we talked about it. He said he doesn't give out second chances.. and he left me. We now have been separated for a little over 2 months.. and we hadn't spoken the first month. He contacted me at the beginning of this year... telling me he didn't like this whole not speaking to each other ordeal, and that he would love to hang out. So we did this past weekend. We had a good time. But I was expecting something else, that maybe, just maybe he would want to be with me again... but it didn't happen. I cry almost every single night.. and I always think about him.. he's my first love. I just don't know if he feels the same way. I mean, like if you're trying to get over your ex who you were with for 10 months basically, 1 or 2 months is NOT enough. The only way to get over someone is to not speak or see them for a while you know? So this whole thing had confused me.. I want to know if he still loves me or not.. I really do.. but I don't want to ruin a friendship we have again now... What should I do?

Honestly, get into a rehab program of some sort. Let him know. Stay away from drugs and people who do them, and maybe your friendship will grow into something more again.
I know he said he doesn't give second chances. But if you put some serious effort into changing for the better, who knows what might happen.
I am sure there are still some feelings there. He missed you enough to want to hang out. You were together a long time. But you lied to him and snuck around doing drugs. You have trust issues to resolve.
People do stupid things while under the influence...including having unprotected sex. You are high risk for AIDs. Nobody wants to be involved with someone they might lose in such a horrible way. You wouldn't want to give someone you love that awful disease either.
Get your life cleaned up and take it from there. Even occassional use is not healthy for you. You know that. Its the one thing he hates. Not easy to
fix but possible. Do it.

Ok tonight my friend Betty was having dinner with her mom. Her mom made fish. The piece was a little too big for Betty. When she finished the rest of the meal Betty said to her mom; I cannot eat the rest. This piece of fish was too big; The mother said; it isnt too big but eat what you want; But Betty was a little upset that her mother did not think the piece of fish is too big. Betty said to her friends is my mom saying because she doesnt think the fish is too big she wants me to finish the piece of fish she gave me. Her friends told her no Betty your mother is not saying to eat all the fish - she even told you to eat what you want. MY QUESTION: Do you agree with Bettys friends (link)

Seriously, Have you had a doctor check you and see if you have OCD? You keep repeating the same questions over and over as if you are obsessed. Same with buying the jewelery cheap in every color etc.
If you haven't already, please see a doctor because you can be given medication to help you if you have it.
I don't mean to be rude, but you need more help than we are able to give you here.
Please see your family doctor and get a referral to someone who can be of help to you. :)

I'm with you. Why would one want to. It causes rashes and makes you look like a kindergartner. But, some girls like it. You don't have to, but you can if you want to.
Some guys like it, most of those I know of age 20 and up say they won't touch it if it doesn't have hair. They want to know a girl is old enough. So, it

Getting questions to your inbox isn't real common, especially when you are new. The ratings you get for inbox questions don't count towards your total rating either by the way.
Most inbox questions will be, for example, if you answer someones question on the site, they liked your answer but it led to another question and they would like to know what you think. Sometimes if you have answered someones questions before and they liked your answer, they will just ask you alone. That comes with time.
The best columnists on this site do not use slang or oddball spelling. They don't just answer a question even if they don't really know the answer. They may have occasional typos but they are pretty good spellers.
For example on your question, loose the multiple ?
and spell out one instead of using 1. Easy to do if you are used to text messaging, just try not to do it here. Please don't take offense. :)

It won't happen very often but it can. Nothing to worry about. Just keep taking them as usual, don't
stop taking the active pills or anything. It will straighten itself back out. :)

I've never experienced a relative being pregnant or being born.
I'm supposed to use my health book as a guideline and ask from several different people that have had children what their experiences were like.
You seem like you're really experienced, wether or not with teen pregnancy, so I figured you'd be one of the easiest people to ask a few questions, if you don't mind.
1) How [doctor, home pregnancy test, etc.] and how long into your first pregnancy did you find out you were pregnant?
2) Did you have morning sickness during your first pregnancy? If so, about how far along did it start and how long did it last?
3) About when did you start 'showing' during your first pregnancy?
4) [About your due date] Were you early, ontime, or late with your first pregnancy?

I was a teen when I was pregnant. 16.
1) I went to the doctor. Don't think they had home test in 1975! I was 5 months along when I told my mom.
2)No, I didn't have any morning sickness at all.

4)I was a few days late.

Sure sounds like one. Its not at all uncommon to have one. Tell your mom your symptoms and she will take you to a doctor. It is not a big deal, all they do is have you pee in a cup. Then they test it and give you a prescription for an antibiotic.
Don't suffer with this. It can get much worse and cause problems with your kidneys if you don't get it treated.
