bladder infection

im a 14 year old girl about to be 15 and since friday i had my period but on saturday i jus keep feeling pain after i pee and its dang sore. im scared to tell anyone. im scared to see a doctor too. do i really have a bladder infection? or do you know what is wrong with me? well, im jus in pain always now. and i try not to pee cause its really sore to pee and jus doing nutting is painful too. i only use pads so i have no clue what to do? if anyone know, please tell me.

Hey I know exactly what you have lol you got a yurinary track infection...its not as bad as it sounds its just when sum how you get bacteria down there and it will sting when you pee all you gotta do is go to the doctors and he will make you pee in a cup and he'll let you know you got a yuronary track and he gives you some medicine and you will be all set! its notin to be embaressed about and its nothin serouse unless you keep waitin to go to the doctors..oh and when you drink cranberry juice it helps out the infection!!!

Sure sounds like one. Its not at all uncommon to have one. Tell your mom your symptoms and she will take you to a doctor. It is not a big deal, all they do is have you pee in a cup. Then they test it and give you a prescription for an antibiotic.

Don't suffer with this. It can get much worse and cause problems with your kidneys if you don't get it treated.

Here are the symptoms if you care to have them.

Symptoms of Urinary Tract Infections
Bladder Infection

strong, constant urge to urinate
sharp pain or burning in the urethra during
urination
inability to fully empty bladder
possible blood in urine
soreness in lower abdomen, back, or sides
