This girl in my class, is writing a book. Well.. let me show how I found out first.. lol. ok, one of my best friends, Hillary, sits next to this girl morgan in math. So, hillary saw these two pieces of paper, & they had my name & a bunch of other peoples names [everyone in my homeroom to be exact] & then next to our names was a different name, so my friend hillary asked her what that was.. & shes like.."Oh, i'm writing a story" & then later on that day, at lunch we were all talking at lunch.. & hillarys like.."Yeah, morgans making a story about all of us in homeroom" & then i was like.."thats kinda creepy? haha" so then I decided to ask her about it.. so I went over to her.. & I was like.."So, I hear your writing a story..whats it about..?" & she goes.."Its a murder story." & I was like...."ok?" & then I asked more about it.. & shes like "Yeah, its kinda like saw.. where everyone kills eachother, & each person, I'm gonna have them get killed differently" & then I was likee. all freaked out .. like wouldnt you think thats tottaly weird if someone is writing about how you die??
Well, it gets better. haha..now, she decided me hillary & this other girl.. are all gonna get tortured in the school basement, & then we die.
WOULD YOU BE CONCERNED?
& if soo.. what would you do?
Should I tell my mom? Shes good friends with the assitant principal.
btw. shes like a total goth.
& i don't have anything against her or anything for her to even do that to me! i actually am friends with this one boy whos super cool,but hes like emo. so its not like i'm ever even mean to her...

She is not phsyco. no dont tell your mom or people who work at school its not the schools business. leave her alone. gothic kids just wonder. im gothic im freaky its fun to scare people. but you shouldnt be scared. death doesnt scare us. i write about death so what. some people like my stories. i did the exact same thing changed the names and all. its expression. a way to get it out . she told you about it so it wont be bad. it fine. just dont tell the school everyone will turn against people probly you or whoever tells. because if you make her mad it will be crazy. leave her alone. shes not going to kill anyone so its not hurting anyone.

These days you can't be to cautious in my book.
If you want to mention it to mom then go for it.
What she looks like has nothing to do with it.
That really isn't something that needs written at school. If it is a book she needs to do that on her own time. If its a school assignment then she will probably be called on it when she turns it in. :)

In response to your feedback, I am curious as to why you asked this question in the first place, as it seems your mind is already set. Maybe I can see it from this girl's point of view because I was quite similar to her when I was in school.
It's called creativity. There is nothing creepy about having an imagination and using it.
As for the names- to write a fiction story about real people, you need to change their names in order to make them fictional characters. The list was to keep track of that.
You and your friend aren't getting tortured to death in the school basement, but your spin-off characters are. You need to learn to separate that in your head. They are fictional characters in a fictional story, but their personalities are based off of yours.
Being goth has nothing to do with it other than maybe you think more depth into it because she is so different from you? Not saying you are mean to her or against her, but she is a girl who is into something you don't fully understand, and I wonder if maybe you are afraid of her deep down? It makes me wonder because of your huge concern for this story...
Let it go. Give the girl her creative freedom.
Maybe you will someday, in your adult life, see a book on the best seller's list and you will say "Hey! I went to school with that girl!"

I write murder stories and stuff like that, maybe she just needed a real class to look on for an idea.
I wouldn't worry all that much. Hell, I'd do something like that. Of course people have said I'm pretty goth/emo myself but -shrugs-
Also -- mental help isn't needed for her. Now, if she wants to do that in REAL life...well maybe you should be concerned. But I have always seen people dying in my dreams(not specific people just people) and have always been writing murder stories, I don't think it's all that big deal, not like i'm gonna go killing everyone.

yes that is incredibly creepy! If she is fantasizing about how her classmates die there is something seriously mentally wrong with her. She should get help... and telling soembody wouldn't be a bad idea
