My name is Melissa. I'm a sophomore, and finally SWEET 16. So, I'll be driving on January 7th. I usually go by May or Mel. In the picture is myself and my AMAZING boyfriend Kyle. He's truly my entire world & I'm not sure how I got lucky enough to get someone like him. I don't like girls. They're fake, and I just in general dislike most girls. Little known fact? There are times I hate my best friend, I mean, hate hate. She drives me insane. When I'm close friends with a girl it's a big deal. As far as best friends go; I have Kyle, who's the most amazing boyfriend in the world; Jennifer Anne Reese aka: PIECUP.. she's one of the few girls I'm close to. I'm generally a nice person, if I like you. If I don't, you'll know it.

In college I want to major in psychology; with a minor in wedding planning or some type of organizational planning type thing. I'm a planning freak. I ALWAYS have a plan, and if you don't plan stuff ahead of time, I'll probably kill you. I tend to change my plan spur of the moment a lot, but I always have one. Lol, one of those weird things about me.


I'm not that much of a "laid back" person. In general, I have my opinion, and I'm going to win. Drama = stupid. But just like every other girl on the planet, I definitely start my share of the drama. I don't like it, but it follows me like a puppy, so I'll just admit I start stuff.

ok you asked me if my hair is better pulled up or done or if it curls well i think it looks better down but i like it better up i think it looks good in the middle and it depends i dont no exactly what u mean like if i scunch it no it doent curl that easily but if i put it up in a messy bun or braids then yea thanx for answering so quick get back to me please

Here's what I would suggest [If you don't like it, leave another question in my Inbox and we can think of something else]: Try putting your hair half up, with some strands left down in the front. Then, the part that is put up, spiral curl that. If you don't like the back curled, try the strands at the front. Just give that a try BEFORE the first day, and if you don't like it, I can send you another idea. Good luck babe!

If you want to risk bleeding in the pool, and staining your swimming suit you can. The water SHOULD make you stop bleeding, but that's only when you're in the water. The second you get out, you need to go straight to a RR.

All of a sudden this morning, my nokia 3205 cellphone screen went BLUE (eventually went black) and I can't see ANYTHING. I can still make and recieve calls, but the menu and display are gone. How can I fix this.

Call the help line that's in your phone manual. They should be able to tell you how to fix it. You might just have to get a new phone.

hey...well i have a friend, well i should say bestfriend because i've known her since kindergarden and now we're going to be in 10th grade...we're totally drifing apart she seems to be getting newer friends to replace me and i dont know, i kinda miss her but sometimes she acts like shes better than me, it may be just me but thats how i feel so i think that shes just trying to make me jealous with all her new friends and she cant like, hang out with me anymore. we're totally different and we hang out with completly different groups so, its kinda hard since she doesnt really know my friends and i dont really know hers. i havent talked to her in forever and everytime we do like on the phone for example, its like really quiet and theres nothin much to talk about...what should i do? should i just move on and forget that we were ever friends?...it'll be really weird and hard because we still go to the same school and our parents and friends will be all confused why we dont really talk anymore...thanx and sry this was long...i rate...

Okay, I would suggest that you talk to her before you make a decision. If neither of you wants to try to be friends, don't.

well this might be long but i need some help..this girl and me hated each other because of a boy,(wont get into it itd be to long haha) but found out he was playing both of us and we became really good friends because we started talking to each other and found out we were a lot alike. over the summer id find myself being ditched a lot. like the last day of school, we were going to hang out but i found out she was hanging out with one of her best friends that hates me for no reason and i have no problem with her, but i forgave her.. and then over and over we would make plans and then she would ditch me again for this girl! it really pissed me off and i confronted her about it and she would make up these excuses that ohh she just came over because they live by each other.
she got a new boyfriend and said she didnt like the guy any more.. and the guy and i ended up hanging out at the same place and ended up doing stuff, a couple days after i found out she still liked him and was only going out with the guy to make him jealous.. so i felt bad and all but i told her and she was glad i told her and didnt act all that mad because i mean she was the one who said she didnt like him any more.. but we were going to hang out the next day and she didnt pick up her phone, and was super pissed but i understood why she would have been mad.. ANYWAYS i wrote her a sorry note and everything we were good and then she does it AGAIN she was just like oh i have a friend over sorry even though we planned the time and everyhting that i would have came over. it was bitch so i didnt talk to her after a while she apologized and said she just wanted to get back at me but she shouldnt have said she was fine when she really wasnt. she promised shed make it up to me somehow and she did because we hung out a lot after that. and everything was fine. her and her friend got in a big fight.. so wed hang out a lot more becuase her other friend wasnt there. then, i would call her because we were going to hang out but she ended up having to take care of her brothers so i was stuck again for the night... and that day i was the only one to call her and she wouldnt call me back and tell me what was going on... so for about a week i didnt talk to her, but then i called her and left a message wanting to talk to her and see wat her deal is.. and she didnt return my call at all... so i called her a couple days later and she picked up and i was straight up asking why she didnt return my calls and wouldnt call me and she was like i didnt get the message or any of your calls and i didnt call you because i thought you were mad at me.. so we talked and she had to go and told me to call her that night so i did and she said her mom was up and shed call me back but she never did and didnt today either! its like after all that youd think she would at least call..i dont know if i should believe her or not and still be her friend, when were together we have so much fun and stuff but its just im always getting ditched and not treated right.. its like shes taking advantage of me. sorry again it was so long but thanks to all if you read it :-(

p.s her and her friend are now cool again, so im thinking i was just used sortof cuz her other friend wasnt there

Basically, I would say she's using her. That's ridiculous for her to get away with treating you that way and only wanting you around when it's convienient for her. Find better friends.

I personally would say confront him. Let him know that you're worried about what's going on, and if it comes down to it, talk to the girl. If he's YOUR boyfriend, you have the right to care and be upset about it.

okay so i'm 14, and my brother is 12..
my mom ALWAYS sides with him on everything, landing me in trouble. he gets to do things that i never got to do when i was his age and younger. my parents let him go over to his girlfriends house all the time, but they barely trust me at all to hang out with guys, or even with girls, because they think i am "secretly meeting guys". my brother is always in my room going through my things and stealing money, and beating me up. as of a couple seconds ago he punched me in the side so hard it knocked the wind out of me. this sort of stuff happens regularly but my mom doesnt care and insists i bring it on myself, when infact i dont becuase i just try to avoid my brother as much as possible. my brother lies to my parents telling them i'm off sneaking out to hang out with guys and kiss them, when i'm not. he's really ruining my life by beating me up and telling my parents lies so they dont trust me.

i am so tempted to try cutting, because i've heard it really does help, even if you need help. i'm trying to hold out, but i'm using up everything i've got. its 3v1 here, with my mom, brother, and step-dad against me. HELP ME PLEASE!

Don't cut first of all. I've done it, and all it does is hurt you more. You need to talk to another trusted adult about it, because that's what's going to help you. If they won't listen, find another person in the family that will because that's just smarter.

ok, so me and this guy have been dating on and off for 8 months. He's always the one who breaks up with me and I'm always heart-broken when he does. Then he says he loves me and wants me to go back out with him. I know what your thinking, why doesnt she just leave him behind? The thing is, i cant. hey.. Im samantha.. and well
I went to a new school this year.. because the school i was in last year and the years before closed down. And it was a small school, one class for each grade. And so i came up into this huge jr. high. and my old friends.. well we arnt friends anymore...and i met these new people and we are like best best best friends.. and we alllwayyys hung out. And well i met this new set of people. who are cheerleaders like me. and we are alike.. and well i dont know who to hang out with because they are both the best!... and every time i hang out with them .. the other people get mad at me .. or if i hang out with them.. then those people get mad at me. And my friend hayley .. who i met this year ( not the cheerleader) well she hangs out with my friend sara more then me. And i think they like hate me now because im hanging with the cheerleaders.. but they are awsome..

Hey.
Alrighty my boyfriend and I are constantly fighting over the stupidest things such as whos right and whos wrong. He hates Green Day but i LOVE them and when i got my ticket for the concert he got pissed at me. But i KNOW he loves me and i love him so much i dont wanna lose this. Our 3 month "anniversary" is in 11 days and im so happy with the relationship. But i think his trust issue is getting in the way. And i dont mean for that to sound mean cuz im not TRYING to be. But i NEED him to know he can trust me. Hes accused me of cheating on him with my ex who now lives in germany then felt SOO bad for doing it. He has had a rough time growing up and feels like he cant trust many people. What can i do to help him know he can trust me...with ANYTHING?

This is so corny but i need help! I'm at a camp for my sport and there is this guy and all the girls think he is hot, and he is!! But he's so shy and doesn't talk a lot. But he talked to me during a drill and kept giving me advice (he's really really good) and then saying "that's really good" even when it wasn't and walking back from a drill we talked. he's a year younger than me. but we actually had a conversation and i havent seen him talk that much cept during the game to get passes and such. i'm not sure how to get is AIM s/n, phone # is a bit to foward for me... all the other girls are so much prettier how can i make him see me more?? how can i talk to him more without looking pathetic n how can i ask him for his s/n?! I'm 16 and I first got my period when I was 9. Well, I know its normal for the first couple of years for it not to be regular but I've had mine for 7 years and its still not regular.
For some time I've been wanting to go on birth control to level out my hormones and make my period more regular.
I don't want to be on it for a long time becasue I'm not really sexually active and I know that being on it for a long time can be bad for you.
So my question is can I be on it for just a little while to regulate my period/hormones then get off and have everything stay regular?

If you get on it, you need to stay on it. If you stop taking it, or take it irregularly, then it won't stay regular.

My boyfriend and I have been having sex since late June. Last night he asked me if i got it yet ( i got it june 30th, after we first started to) and i said no but im not worried about it im going to wait a few days because my comes so randomly. and it never comes on the same date. he is yelling at me about he knows he asked girls, but i think i know mmy fuckin period and a bunch of girls periods come different times and late. he is really stressing me out, should i go to a clinic to see or buy a test now?

Don't let him stress you out, that will just make it later. The birth control SHOULD regulate it, but that doesn't mean anything. If you're still concerned, go get a test done.

I dont know why i feel so hurt by my boyfriend. I live in florida he lives in pensavainla we promised not to date anyone except each other this year until we see each other next summer. ok so i have a boyfriend that i've been with for about 6 months now. im 16, my boyfriend is turning 19 in september And about four months into the relationship, i got raped by his older brother and now his family is blaming me and telling ppl it wasnt raped so now im questioning myself if it was rape or not. and then the cops got involved because my boyfriend called the cops since i told him what happened when i slept over. so when the cops were investigating, they found out that me and my boyfriend have been having sex as well. so now me & andrew arent even allowed to see each other legally and im just wondering if i should stay with him after all this happening, we want to have kids in the future and he even asked me to marry him...is this a good idea?

Legally, you sound like you need help. But as far as your relationship, you need to follow your heart because nobody else knows what's going on. Hopefully something works out.
