YES!!! i am a swimmer and i swim without a tampon all the time...but i never have a heave period. it all depends if your comfertable or not.if your in a pool...the chlorine will kill everything. if your anywhere else, it will just add to the other 100239803458 of other jerms and stuff thats in the water alread. if you do go in the water, only a little will come out. the problem is when you get out...it'll start coming back out so be sure that your close to the bathroom!!! good luck!

getting into the pool will stop it. if your light, go right ahead! i know a lot of people that have, just have someone near you that u trust when your not actually in the water or have a towel around you. just go for it! <3

If you want to risk bleeding in the pool, and staining your swimming suit you can. The water SHOULD make you stop bleeding, but that's only when you're in the water. The second you get out, you need to go straight to a RR.

Yes. There is a way, but you'll still bleed and it will show up in the water. If you want to go swimming while on your period, it's best to use a tampon. Especially if your flow is HEAVY. But, if you have a very light flow, you could go in without a tampon and you won't be able to see any blood in the pool. But if you're going to be getting in and out of a pool, you'll need to use a tampon. If you stay in the pool for a long period of time, it won't be so bad but as soon as you get out you need to go to the bathroom and put on a tampon or pad (whichever your prefrence). If you do swim while on your period without a tampon, there is a chance that the water in the pool can become contaminated and no one would be able to swim in it until the water is emptied and filled with fresh water. I'm not just saying that to get you upset, but it's the truth.

no im sorry.. there isnt. unless you shower before you go in the water and go in a pad because you stop bleeding in water. but im sure thats unsanitary and people will notice.. so other than tampons no =
you should really try them and get used 2 them.. you'll NEVER want to go back 2 pads again. trust me = P
