oK, SORRY FOR THE LENGTH...ok well i was talking to my friend online(he is a guy lets call him Tod) and he was saying that him and his friend(lets call him Ben) called my house to see if i wanted to come over, but i wasn't there so i couldn't. And when i was talking with him online he said that they had drinks(we are all 14 by the way) and they wanted me to come over to have more fun, and when i asked what type of fun it was they said, "A girl and guys getting wasted not caring what they are doing, like any base" So i just went along with it and then they said next time i should come. I mean i want to come and i want to hang out with them, bc they are my really good friends, but i dont know what will happen if i drink...any advice?!!! I RATE HIGH FOR ANYONE WHO ANSWERS!!!!

Drinking is just an excuse for their horny behavior. Oh, you'll drink. If they can even get you there after saying that, chances are they can get you to drink. The question is how much you'll drink. Hopefully not very much. If you go, I would advise you not to drink anything.

Did you seriously just ask us if you should get the hot girls? Joining the crowd won't get you the hot girls, if that's what you mean. Joining the crowd will just get you made fun of by the people heading the crowd. There are probably other reasons as to why it seems no girls like you.

Well, say you did ask him to slow down, what's the worst that could happen? If it's that he'll get upset, think about what that means. Do you really want to be with someone like that? Either way, if you want him to slow down, tell him.

I'm 13/F, barely 5'2, and about 112lbs. I know my weight is fine for my height and age and everything, but i really have a lack of self confidence... ever since i was little i was this super skinny tiny little girl. Now I'm getting much fatter. My stomach just has soo much fat on it. I'd just like to tone it down, and keep it flatter, maybe get some abs. Summer is almost here, and I go to high school in august. I know i need to exercise, but eating is my problem too. I eat alot of junk food, and i am a very picky eater. I don't eat meat, fish, poltury(chicken, etc). I also dont eat beans, nuts, or vegtables! (i'll eat potatoes, raw carrots, and that's it.) The thing is i mainly eat breads, dariy, and some fruits. I know this kind of eating is also not helping my body. i can try to force myself to eat like salads and stuff, but it's so hard beacause i end up almost throwing up. I'm also stressed most of the time, and very busy. I have minimal time to exercise, and not alot of resources. I have an ab thingy called the ab scissors... but i dont like it very much. I'm also not familar with how to do good exercises. So what are some ways i could lose so weight, but mostly loose my excess fat???? Thanks!! I'll be sure to rate good, thoughtful, helpful answers. The reason you're gaining weight is because your body is developing. If you want to be super skinny again, exercize to the point where you kill your development.

I recently started dating a guy with a very very close family. I am 22, he is 24, and still living with his parents while he saves up to buy a house. The problem is that I'm starting to see signs of his parents making too many decisions for his life.
First of all, he is christian, and quite religious. Me and him have made the decision to wait to have sex, at least for now. I think this is a personal decision that is between me and him.
He stays at my house sometimes, and has already slept in the same bed at me while staying at my mothers house, at my house, and at my sisters house. There is not a problem with this because we are both adults, and are very capable of making out own decisions.
But, recently he told me that he doesn't think he should stay at my house anymore because his parents are already getting suspicious. He has already told him that we're not having sex, but, apparently, they don't believe him, and are trying to stop anything from happening.
Another thing is that I'm planning a trip to Florida, and he really wants to go. He is allowed two weeks vacation from work, and would only need one week. The problem is that he works for his father. I would not see a problem if his father told him "I don't think I can give you the time off, because I need your help here" But, instead, he said "I don't think you should go because you need to save your money"
This guy is 24 and is capable of making his own decisions on where he sleeps at night and what he spends his own money on.
I'm wondering how I could make this clear to him, that it bothers me, without making it uncomfortable. I do not want to make things uncomfortable for me and his parents, him and his paretns, or me and him. Any advice would be much appreciated. (link)

Ah, the repercussions of being raised by controlling, crazy parents.
First off, how long is it going to take him to save up for a house? That's the type of thing you make payments for in a really long time, isn't it? Not something you just save up for and live with your parents until then. That's a little odd to me.
Well, from what I've heard about this guy, he isn't stupid. I'm fairly confident that he can see this is bothering you without you telling him anything, though I'm sure talking about it wouldn't hurt.
As for changing anything to better the situation, I'm not sure that's possible. You aren't going to change the minds of controlling parents. The only other way is to break him away from his parents, which I'm sure you don't want to do. It's possible that in this situation, you may have to approach it as you would a high school student.

I really really like this guy named Mitch and he's just the nicest guy I've ever met before. He used to be friends with my older sister. It's not really you with the problem, it's him. Coming on to a 15 year old girl while you're 21 is definitely a bad sign. Any guy can appear to be the nicest guy, so don't let his politeness fool you. What would you think of someone your age hitting on a nine year old? I wouldn't date him, it's too risky.

I'm not sure whether-or-not any of your skater buddies are rascist, but I do know a lot of shy girls. They're convinced no one likes them when a great deal of guys do. You don't really know for sure if someone likes you until you ask them yourself. You do realize that the age she is right now is the age where she'll probably change the most, while you're just now probably figuring out what your going to do with your life. Answer this for me, why is it so important for you to have a romantic relationship with this girl? I figure that's why you came to an advice site. Why does your relationship have to reach a level passed friendship? Honestly, I don't think it has to. Just keep your faith, worry about school or work or whatever you do, and remain close friends with her. I wouldn't advise dating her right now.

Remember a while back, I told you about that guy I'm really into, his name is Sean? Well, yeah me and him still talk and everything,but int he past month...Things have been dramatic. I moved in with a friend from Detroit to this squeeky clean suburb, my mom is no longer my legal guardian, because shes too ill to take of me, and my older brother...well, he doesn't want to talk to me anymore, I think. And well...even though I'm not a Christian, I came up with this grand idea of fasting for 40 days and 40 nights from Sean. not that I'm a stalker or anything, I just want to lear a sense of self-control before I start dating. My friend Daniel is proud of me, and thinks every girl should do it. But theres only one glitch in my plan. Whenever I get upset, I got to Sean. And lately, I've been really upset. My friends mom is going to put me into counseling, I keep having emotional breakdowns and I'm severely depressed to the point where I won't eat and won't go outside. I know what I should do, call Sean, because hes the pereson I can relate to the most, but what I most is someones input...I've been fasting for about 22 days so far, and things have been going well, I'm more than half-way there, I know it sounds extremely odd, but there are also other reasons why I decided to take on this silly fast, one of them being that Sean is a college student, so I'm not always able to get in touch with him, so it would be something I could get used to and comfortable with. Sorry, this is long, but...I know you'll throw in some humor with your answer, and at this point, thats what I need.

Emotional breakdowns and severely depressed to the point where you won't eat and won't go outside? I know exactly how that is. What you should do is get outside. Especially since you don't feel like it. Locking yourself away from the outside world will only give you an excuse to dwell on your problems.
As for the "fasting", I'm not sure the reasons for continuing it outweigh reasons you may have for breaking it. You're going through a tough time right now, it's only human to seek contact with someone you can relate to. The fact that you would even consider continuing this when you really need him shows a lot of self control, in my opinion.
