Depends on how provocative it is. That happened to someone in my high school, she took a camera cell phone pic and she send it to a boy and he sent it to his friends and somehow I know about this and I don't even know her. I think mixing foundation with moisturizer really makes it look more natural. What you should do after washing your face is to tone it to maintain the pH of your skin to help keep it from being too oil and perhaps exfoliate every once in a while. Then moisturize, which has nothing to do with making your skin more oily. Also, acne makes makeup look caked on. I think you really need to use a different brand of foundation if your current one makes you look like that. Are you using the solid or liquid kind? Maybe try a different shade?

Actually, I think your hair is a good idea because it is a physical change reflecting the real changes in your life (emotionally, mentally) and each cut represents you at a different stage in your life. This is stereotypical but just as an example, you could have had a "punk phase" with dyed hair to represent your angry teenage middle school years. Then blonde to represent your happy years. I'm just making stuff up but that idea sounds pretty good to me. You could definitely work with that.
