You should definitely start commenting on other fashion/makeup/beauty-related blogs and add your link to your name so they can visit you and if you link similar sites, they may return the favor which will help you get more traffic. If you visit forums/bbs you can put the link to your site in your signature and post often to get the word out too.

you could make a myspace, and add a bunch of people, decorating the page , having a little pre view, and saying if they like what they see to go to your page.
That might take a little time, but thats really all I could think of.
