Hi! i am from India. my baby is 2 yrs old and since me and my husband are both working i have arranged for a babysitter for her for 8-9 hours. my question is : how does baby sitting help her and how does it harm her? i am very confused and require advice on babysitting and what should i look in a good babysitter?

Don't be afraid to ask questions, ask them 'Do you have any criminal records' or 'How long have you been babysitting?'. You need someone that is experienced and mature, not someone who's just going to be sitting around and making the 2 year old watch for itself. Ask if the babysitter knows who to call incase of any emergencies. A babysitter can be good for your child to interact with others instead of its parents. It can't necessarily be bad unless the babysitter is evil and doesn't give the child any food or something.

Im 14 years old and im a female anyways i like some boy at church and he is so sweet and nice and he likes me too but everytime i get around him i get shy and cant talk or i just feel different like im not myself im a shy person but this never happned before. I think that you should get to know him first. Don't just assume that he's the 'right one' and start a relationship. You can start conversations with him, say something like 'hey [name], did you catch the season premiere of [show]?' or 'hey [name], have you heard [song] by [band/singer]'. This reminds me of my first crushes when I was 13. I thought 'Oh, this guy looks hot', so I went out with him, and he ended up cheating on me.

my friend ALWAYS copies me. like if i put something on my profile she puts that up too if i put something on my myspace she does that too. if i buya pair of shorts, she will buy them too. i know people say copying is a way of flattery but sometimes its just annoying. i like to be my own person. should i say something to her? if i should, what should i say?

You should talk to her. Tell her 'Hey [name], I've noticed that you have the same exact thing as I do in my profile and my myspace. I would really appreciate if you could not do that. I like to be my own person and I think that you should be unique too.'

I think that you should move on because it seems like he doesn't want a relationship. If he already told you that he might 'screw' things up, and it might now work out, I think he wants the best for you and the experience can save you the heartbreak. I think that you should just move on, and find someone better that loves you, and you love him back.

Flip your hair upside down, take some gel, and start roughing it up/teasing your hair. Leave one part as it is, and take the other part, and clip it to the side with a cute jewelled clip.

You should go and have a great time because it would mean a lot to your friends. If anyone stares, ignore them. You came for a good time, not for them to criticise you about your leg. Our dog who is 8 months has had enlarged nipples now for a few weeks. She got out three four weeks ago and dissapeared for a few days. We found her and have had her at home ever since but is there a chance she is pregnant? It is unusual for a puppy to have such large nipples.

My dog had her babies when she was 8 months, and they were healthy and perfectly fine. There might be a chance that she is pregnant because dog's nipples usually aren't enlarged. Call or visit your vet to be sure.

For makeup, you can go for a coral/light pink color of lipstick/gloss for your lips.
Lightly brush some blush against your cheeks.
Use eyeshadow that matches your dress.

For your hair, flip it upside down, and use gel, and start running your fingers through it, and roughing it up a little, so it is 'teased'.
Then, leave one side of your hair as it is,
and with the other side,
you can clip it to the side with a jeweled clip.

i have nortion antivirus & i know that i have a virus & were fixing it later, but until then it has a pop up saying i do have one & i click 'ok' but it never goes away. it juss keeps coming up. it only goes away when i totally close out of norton & i can't do that because that's my virus scanner. is there anyway i can get rid of this pop up that says that i have a virus??

You should probably scan your system, and then quarantine the problems. It probably keeps coming up because you're just clicking 'OK' and not worrying about it. It's probably trying to let you know. So, you should probably just scan your system.

If THAT doesn't work, then you can go to symantec.com [Norton site] or go to google and type in 'norton antivirus issues' and it should come up with some help forums from different websites.

Hey iam sorry if this is under the wrong topic,but I wasn't sure.Iam 17 years old and my mom told me to break up with my boyfriend daniel so I was going to,but I never did I told her I did instead and the other day I snuck over to his house I told my mom I was going for a walk,but I didn't know she was going to follow me in the car I didn't know she was there and when she found out I went to my boyfriend's house she dosn't trust me anymore she dosn't let me use the phone the only time I can go anywhere is family no friends just family and I have to use the computer at family's house becouse she dosn't want me to be emailing my boyfriend or have any contact with him in any kind of way becouse he was arrested in he was 17 and becouse she says since he is 19 and iam only 17 he is way to old for me and now I don't have her trust how can I get her trust back my mom and I use to be so close and now we are practically strangers?

Hey, first off, I wanted to say that you shouldn't be mad at your mom, because you disobeyed her, and your bf was a criminal, and she's just watching out for you. You can try talking to her and telling her 'hey mom, I'm sorry about what happened. I had no right to disobey you, I really hope that you can forgive me'. But you should probably stay away from him for now.

Okay, well, this July, I'm babysitting a 10-11 year old girl named Maggie. She's a cute kid, but there is one problem. She's completely hyper all the time. She gets nervous alot and really easily.
I just wanted to know if ya'll had any ideas for fun, quiet, easy-clean up games that will keep her situated for a while.
This is a FULL day job, twice a week, $50 a day. I know that seems a lot, but trust me, she's worth it.

I love doing a scavenger hunt type of thing with the kids that I babysit. You can hide objects around the house and give out clues, and if she finds all, or most of the objects, you can give her a little prize. The kids that I do that with really enjoy it and it'll keep her guessing!

Hey everyone, I have kind of an opinion question. I was thinking about taking my boyfriend out on a picnic this weekend. Only thing is I don't know what kind of food to make or bring.
I don't wanna do like, the classic sandwiches and stuff like that. I wanna actually cook something for us, but what can I make? How can I keep food hot?

You can try ordering take out right before the picnic, something you both enjoy, Chinese Food, Mexican Food, Cajun Food. There's also premade veggie trays at Walmart or your grocery store, it has Cauliflower, Broccoli, and Carrots surrounded a ranchtype dip. My mom gets it all of the time, its delicious. If you want something romantic for dessert, you can bring strawberries and some chocolate syrup in those squeezable bottles and have some chocolate covered strawberries.

What are some easy recipes that make good food. I want to empress this guy with my cooking. I think we might be hanging out soon and when it comes around lunch time I want to wip something nice up! but not to fancy.

I made this really good rice for a project for Portugal and it is delicious. Many people have tried it.

Veggie Rice
What you need is:
A box of rice
A microwave safe bowl
Garlic/Garlic Seasoning
Can of sweet corn
Tomatoes
Drainer
A mixing bowl of some kind
Sugar

1. Follow the directions of the box of rice.
2. Once it's done, take it out, take the drainer, and pour the rice in there.
3. Once all of the water is drained out, pour the rice into a mixing bowl and set it aside.
4. Take your garlic, and chop it if you have actual garlic, and toss it in there, if you have seasoning, lightly sprinkle it in the rice.
5. Take the tomatoes, and dice them, or if you have pre-diced tomatoes, then thats fine, toss them in there too.
6. Take the can of corn, and open it with a can opener.
7. Take a fork, and scoop some out into a microwave safe bowl [you can use the same one, just wash it].
8. Microwave for 3-4 minutes.
9. Drain the corn too.
10. After you drain it, pour some into the rice in the mixing bowl.
11. Mix it all together, and taste test it. If its too sour or something, add a pinch of sugar. Mix it again.

There you go. Sorry if there was any confusion. That was the best that I could do.

Yeah, my granmother just died, we're having a funeral for her on saturday, and I don't want to be there. My dad says "Its not your decision to make" does anyone have some persuasion techniques? Or have you ever heard of a way to convince someone to do something your way?
I don't want to go. What' sthe best way to say it so I get to stay??

Say somthing like 'Dad, I miss her a lot and I wish she was still here, but this really hurts for me, and I can't go. I will still think about her, but I can't go because it will really hurt inside' and show him that you're sad.
