my mom beats me up all the time...she has problems with my dad and takes them out on me!!..when im sleeping sometimesi see her put her hands round my throat and try to choce me ..i love her so i dont want her to go to jail...what do i do??

I know you love your Mom but you need to get help. Its not normal for a parent to try to choke their kid. I dont want to offend you in anyway but she might be doing drugs or drinking because she is stressed from your dad and her's problems. Go to a counsler at school and tell them about it. They could get her help so she stops taking her anger out on you. Good luck!

I know alot of kids don't like their step parents but my step dad takes it to another level.


My younger sister (15) and I (17/f) have never liked him and he doesn't like us either. My mom knows that we don't like him but she thinks that he trys his hardest with us.


Well, I know what you're thinking, give him a break and you'll see that he really is trying.


I don't think so.


Last night my mom and him threw a party and my sister and I had to be there. When everyone was leaving around 3am, my mom had gone outside to say bye to everyone while my step dad, sister, and I stayed inside.


My sister and I were talking to each other about these guys we had met that night (my mom's friend’s sons). He was listening to our conversation and said, out of no where, "I don't know what boys would be interested in you two." He always says this stuff so I just told him to shut up and mind is own conversations (I know, disrespectful but it's hard to respect him).


We got into a little argument and he then told us how immature, bratty, spoiled, we are and how we think we're princesses. Jokingly, my sister told him that we were princesses, in our dad's eyes anyways. I guess that got him mad because then he went off talking about my dad and how he's the problem because he gives us what we want. He then said that if we didn't believe everything he was saying about us that we should ask our mom and grandparents on what they think about us.


After all of that, he told us about all this stuff that my dad did while he was still married to my mom like how he once slept with a hooker and how he was always at work and never home. Alot of unnecessary things that we didn't need to know and probably shouldn't have known, specially my sister.


I knew that my parents had troubles and things like that, why else would they have gotten a divorce? But who is he to tell us exactly what happened and what my dad did. I mean does he seriously think that we would turn against our dad or end up hating him or something? Or is he just jealous of him?


Like I said, I know my dad did some things (now I know exactly what) but so did my mom. But we still love him and he's great to us and is a good parent too.


After he went to sleep I went into my sister's room to get something from her and she had cried herself to sleep. When I saw that, I went to talk to my mom about what had happened because I usually just blow it off. When I told her, she didn't believe me about the names he called us and how he told us that she and my grandparents thought the same! And all she did about the part about my dad was say, "Well, at least you know the truth about your father now." She just talked about how we never once tried to be nice to him and he was trying his best. She didn't even care about the stuff he said about us or my dad.


We were nice to him before when him and my mom first started dating but he was still mean to us back then so we started being mean back. he always used to talk about my dad too.


I don't know what to do because it seems like no matter what she's always on his side. Plus he has no right talking about my mom and dad's relationship.

Okay seriously this guy is a fag. He has no right to say rude things to you or talk about YOUR father. I agree with the answers below me, get a recorder and catch him redhanded. But dont like tell him he is busted or something because then he might go to your Mom and say your making it yourself. Or not but dont take the chance, plus that would be immature. Or you could just have your Mom stand behind a corner when you think he is gonna start to say something. Basically set him up. And you need to stand up to him, tell him to back off. Which you are cause you said you told him to shut up. Dont take his crap. Anyway, good luck!

Ask your friend to give you a makeover. Go shopping with her and maybe she could help you buy some new clothes, makeup, acceseries, etc. Try stuff that you wouldnt normally buy but you see other people wearing. I used to be afraid to buy certain clothes that looked good on me because I was afraid people would comment on what a change it was, but its so much better. Im sure your very pretty though. Sorry Im not much more of a help!

ok well i told blake that i loved him and idk im anxious to get the reply (i sent an email) like i really want the email to see what he has to say. but i havent gottin it yet. its only been like a day since i sent it. but i mean i know he checks his email like everyday. could he be avoiding the email because hes scared that it says something. i dont know, but i really want the email. is there anyway i can hint to him to check his email with out having me sound like im desperate for him to check his email?

I think it is one of these two explanations...

1. It has only been a day. Give some time. I know your anxious but be patient because it might take him a while to actually write back. Or he might of not even gotten the email yet.

2. It might be awkward for him. You guys are 13 so he is probably a little shocked or uncertain what to write back.

If he doesnt reply then just talk to him in person and find out whats going on.

When you are sexually active is there supposed to be hair uhh "down there"? or do you shave it off or what? sorry if this is like a stupid question or whatever but i'll rate.

It really depends on the girl. I would say most girls do, just because most guys like it shaved. Talk to your boyfriend and decide if you both want you to or want. Oh and there is nothing wrong with deciding not to shave.

okay that advice was really good because your right i like what i can't have.. but its like different w/ this guy and i can't move on no matter how hard i try... its not like im getting in the middle of their relationship or anything... but i seriously need help on moving on!!!

You need to forget about him and start hanging out with different guys. Im not sure how to help you get over him because I cant just by telling you something. So just try to avoid him because the more you see him the more you will be attracted to him. Good luck!

18 because that is when you are offically an adult. Your parents lose the responsibilty for you and cant tell you what to do anymore. But remember it would be REALLY expensive for you to live in an apartment so maybe you would want to have a room mate to split the rent with, like a bestfriend or something. Trust me, dont think you can pay for it yourself plus food, plus clothes, etc. Good luck!

Hey guys, I want to get my belly button peirced but I just need to know how much it costs and if it will hurt? I'm not very good with pain so I'm kind of scared. Also is it hard to take care of? I'm mainly worried about the pain so if you could tell me if it hurts that would be great. THANKS!

The cost really depends where your going. maybe $30-50 dollars. And of course its going to hurt I mean your getting a hole in your skin. The really bad pain will go away in the first five minutes then it will just be sore. Wash it probably two times a day unless they tell you differently and let the certain number of weeks they tell you to go by before you change it and maybe a few weeks more just to be safe, but thats up to you. also dont by cheap stuff to put in your belly button that could make it hurt just like if you put fake gold or silver in your ears, the paint chips off and it becomes infected. Hi! Well i have like 20 belts (yeah i wear them i hate to waste clothes) and im running outta ideas of what to do with them (and hangers). Right now i have like bunches of 5 or howevermany fit in a hanger and on like 5 hangers. I dont like this idea, and i dont like putting them in my drawers either. I have more belts than clothes!! So if any one has any ideas, maybe creative ideas, for what to do with all these belts--please let me know!!

Have you ever seen in movies when like they walk in the door and put their coats of the hooks? Well you could do that with your belts. Get a semi long piece of wood. sand it out and maybe paint it to match your room. Then go to a place like home depot and you could find little bags of hooks which probably isnt that expensive. hammer them in then hang the buckle part on the hook and wahlah! lol easy as that.

What do you do when you've liked a guy for a really long time and are finally dating and you decide that you don't want to date anymore, but then after you break up with him, you like him still and now your best friend is going out with him?

I think what happens to you is you like what you cant have. When you didnt have him you liked him then when you had him you lost interest then you lost him again so you like him again. My advice is to move on because most likely if you guys get back together you will lose interest again.

You cant 'turn' gay from being sexually abused. You are born gay or in her case lesbian and will always be like that. Being abused would have absoulutely nothing to do with it.

Before I got my new computer with a built in block up popper I would download something like free yahoo instant messenger or aim etc. Then it automatically puts in a toolbar which has a popup blocker in it. Also you could search on google for something free. Good luck!

You are to young to be a waitress. You have to be atleast sixteen.
For the modeling, look for ads in the newspaper or phonebook. In the phonebook look under modeling and there are going to be a bunch of options that you could choose from.
For babysitting. Ask people if they are in need of one such as neighbers, aunts, uncles, parents friends, you could help your friend babysit etc.
You could also post ads about yourself for babysitting in the newspaper, a babysitting website etc.

Does anybody know if it is possible for someone who is not photogenic to be able to take a good picture? I hear all the time from friends, my boyfriend, my family, and random people off the street that I am beautiful. Some even have asked me if I have modeled before. But for some reason, I can not take a picture. It is driving me crazy. I really want to be able to take a good picture. Whenever I am with friends and they try to take a picture..they go, "I just don't understand..how can you be so pretty in real life and look so bad in a picture?" It is driving me crazy. Does anybody else have this problem? Is there a way to overcome this? Thanks so much!

It is because it isnt natural. You probably dont realize it but you probably change your smile for the picture, and etc. That is why most peoples school pictures turn out bad, because they know the person is taking a picture so they try to look good. Just have one of your friends take pictures of you during the day when you least expect it and Im sure they will turn out good. Good Luck!

How do you change your display name?

Once your on your homepage. Go to edit profile to the right of your picture. Then there are tab like things, click on the one that says name. Then where it says display name, something should already be typed in but just erase it and type in whatever you want and click submit. It might take a minute to permanently show up but there you go!

Yeah im 13 and regular tampons are to big for me, do you kno if they make junior tampons, if so what are they called.

Yes, they make tampons in a few sizes because everyone needs something different depending on their flow size. Back to the point...I'm pretty sure they are called 'Slims' or 'Slim Fits' and they have of for pretty much every brand. Good Luck!

How do I made a messy bun so it stays in place?
It always slip out after a cuouple of minutes..or directly if I run =/
Sometimes it ends up being a ponytail ;P
What am I doing wrong!?

Put all your hair in the bun so it is even, cause you know how one side is always shorter then the other? (well it is for me)so once you have all your hair in the bun. put another rubberband in or even 3 if you want to. Then take hairspray and hold it about arms length away and lightly spray like your whole head. This should keep it in place better, good luck!
