Belly Button Peircing

Question Posted Thursday December 29 2005, 2:22 am

Hey guys, I want to get my belly button peirced but I just need to know how much it costs and if it will hurt? I'm not very good with pain so I'm kind of scared. Also is it hard to take care of? I'm mainly worried about the pain so if you could tell me if it hurts that would be great. THANKS!

If you really want your belly button pierced, and you can take care of it while its healing then there are all different places to go. They all have different costs. It will hurt (i mean, they ARE sticking metal into your belly button) but if you really want it pierced i think its worth it.

The cost really depends where your going. maybe $30-50 dollars. And of course its going to hurt I mean your getting a hole in your skin. The really bad pain will go away in the first five minutes then it will just be sore. Wash it probably two times a day unless they tell you differently and let the certain number of weeks they tell you to go by before you change it and maybe a few weeks more just to be safe, but thats up to you. also dont by cheap stuff to put in your belly button that could make it hurt just like if you put fake gold or silver in your ears, the paint chips off and it becomes infected. Well good luck!

Mine only cost 20 dollars. You should call around in the phone book to tattoo and peircing shops. (Usually all tattoo places do peircings) As for how much it hurts... Its really not that bad. The first thing he does is disinfect it. Then he gets some clamps and puts a rubberband around them and pushes the needle through. The part that hurt the most was him putting the barbell in afterward. If you do get it done, make sure you put alcohol on it. Me and my friend got them done together, and they told us not to put alcohol on them, but I did and mine didnt get infected, when hers did. If you need anything else, feel free to ask me. HOpe i helped =)

It costs around 40-50dollars. My friend said it didn't hurt that bad. She said that it hurts to do crunches though. Only for a while, not forever. All you need to do is to change every oncce and a while.

it's $30-$50 depending on where you go. It really doesn't hurt it just feels really weird. The clamp kind of pinches but it just feels like someone has a hold of your belly button.. nothing major.

well if it's numb then it won't hurt then...now if it is not numb then it will be like someone is sewing your body with a needle...but you shouldn't worry about...i'm sure they will numb it...and it wil cost like $30.00 to $40.00..
hoped i helped...♥ alley

It does hurt. Like a sewing needle going into your belly button, if its not numbed, and the clamp hurts also, I suggest reading about peoples experiences online: bmezine.com

Also its around $40 - $1120

I'm not speaking from experience there, but generally when you're sticking a huge ass needle into your belly it's going to hurt, and it's usually way overpriced.
