I want to send out a note with an invitation to a party and say presents are not expected but if anyone would like to buy a present vouchers would be very acceptable.

it depends what kind of party it is...if its a big house party, people dont usually bring presents anyway. if its like a sleepover or something they wil end up brining you something. you aren't really supposed to mention gifts on the invite. you could ask for items to be donated to charity in place of a present but i still think its a little..well, rude.

i have never got on with my dad very well from a young, i didnt like something he did so i told him and he didn't seem to get the message to stop so i said stop or i'm running away he didn't so i did what i said and ran away, my friends dad was there and he knew everything that had been going on and said he would hit him if he didnt stop so my dad being like 1/5 of his size stoped, this was like 18 months ago now ever since he has been trying to like get me back i use to cut myself and he knew everytime it didnt change anything though its like i'll be on the phone he'll shout... i'll be on the computer he'll shout and make up things when i yell back he'll just say that im over reacting and twisting what he is saying.. hes always taking my phone off me grounding me for things i havent done.
e.g. i got the wrong coat out the cupboard he grounded me for 6 months from ahving or going to a sleep over.
i use just my folk at dinner yesterday and not with the knif he goes who out ya friends have you got that off then i just went no one and walked out the room saying fine then i wont eat at all.
he didnt offer me any food all night.
my mum doesnt do anything about this and when i go see my councellor she just says look what your parents are going through and im just like there punishing me for no reason.. i endded up in hospital in dec for taking an overdose and they just told the nurses i had fallen out with my friends to make me look stoopid he just didnt want to get in trouble he blames me for everything and i think its just to do with what happened like 18 months ago i seriously cant do anything right i walk in the room and he'll say something he hasn't been talking to him for the last 2 weeks because i do everything wrong and i just dotn know what to do anymore im only 14 i cant move out or anything im just stuck i have a sister but she dont care she only thinks about herself and does everything they say and they never say anything to her even if she does something wrong if i were to do that they would ground me, im always being grounded or told off for something and its just taking over me right now.. is there anyway i can get out of here, or at least stop my dad from trying ot take over my life??

hey i have a tough decision to make. yes its tough for me. tomorrow (tuesday) i can either go to bible school or my softball leagues party. i really wanna go to both but they are at the same time. i already said id go to bible school but i also said id go to the party with my friend. will someone please help me decide and give me good reasons y i should go to what you chose?

i personally would go to the party because it would be more fun and it only comes around every so often and the bible is always there for you to study. that may sound really dumb but thats my reasoning..

Okay, so I'm bedridden for a while. I certainly don't enjoy readering, but I figure it will pass the time.. so I'm not just stuck laying there like a useless moron. I like those cheesy little romance plots and all that sensitive bologna, so if ANYONE can think of something I might enjoy, I would DEFINITELY appreciate your recommendation!!

theres this series by lerlene macdaniels...i dont think i spelled her first name right, but anyway theyre cheesy love stories. i read this really good book called "shattering glass" and its like the best book ever written. by the way, i dont read so it had to be pretty damn good! umm sisterhood of the traveling pants is a good easy read. tuesdays with morrie is a worthwhle read...it gets kinda boring tho. just go to the library and pick out some books with a romantic-looking cover...it works for me!

latley i have been in a very bad mood. people have just been annoying me and doing things that make me mad latley - what can i do about this? i am not depressed at all - i have fun and i guess it's just when i'm alone i think about a bunch of underlying stuff. what is a way i can not think about all of this?

*sigh* i get this all the time. try to keep busy wih sports and stuff, theyll keep you feeling happy naturally. this should help a bit. if u need anything else, lemme know.

Im just wondering, this is a quick question. I slept over my new friends house. Shes extremely pretty, rich, but shes diabetic and she smells like fish. Badly. I know she sprays perfume down there, she's told me. But she cannot find a way to get rid of the smell. What should I tell her as advice?

hey if that perfume gets trapped "down there" it could giveher an infection...that might be why she smells. she should try something made for down there, like a wipe of somthing that isnt heavily scented. also, detergents and some expensive soaps can cause it to get worse.

go to a derm...they can perscribe something to get rid of them in a shorter amount of time than over the counter stuff.

depends in what amount of time and what you did. thats just called burnout.. some ppl will say you are, some people (who want a good rating, i might add) will say you are not. its for you to decide. try stayin with one or going out with someone you really like...no just whoever comes along.

how do you gain body fat?? like what foods help??

my friend is trying to gain weight too but to bulk up, not like belly fat. he uses protein stuff (like bars) and eats like 5 BIG meals a day. kind of like lossing weight, but just bigger portions.

this is a question for the girls. I just recently straightened my hair for the first time and like ive never really styled it in anyway so i have no idea what to do with it now. its kinda long but sorta short like its not shoulder length but in front it goes down past my eyebrows and so long story short im wonderin wut kind of hairstyles girls like on guys and how to do those thanks much i rate very high.

well on guysi like it kinda grown out and not perfectly straight but it cant be like bedhead. just see how it the next morning and if it needs it, brush it. thats probably all the styling you need.

My four friends and I were at the movies the weekend after school was out. So naturally, lots of people were there, including my crush. Don’t know him at all, to tell the truth. He goes to a different school, a couple years older- you know. I know him from friends and church and just other stuff. Anyways, we happened to go to the same movie lucky for me, and then his friend starts talking to us. And before we knew it, we were invited to my crush’s end of the year party that was the next day. My crush’s friend asked the address and stuff and my crush told him and the times and all that. So it was ok with my crush that we were going/invited. He knows who I am. Does this mean anything do you think that he was ok that we were going. I mean, he's older and all that, so it would be strange if we had showed up. What do you think? And any other thoughts?

i think he wasjust ok with you going..i dont think he likes you but you never know, he might do something at the party. just careful tho, hes older and more experienced...sorry this is so late.

ok...so I went to my boyfriends ball game and afterwords we uesually go out to eat. Well my boy friends best friends which is my ex wen't too. Well his brother and his brothers girlfriend came also...we were eating and everything wen't great! I had a fun time! Well a couple of days ago my boyfriend and I were in this place eating and he said did you have on thongs the other day when you came to my ball game and we wen't out to eat...I said idk because i wasn't sure why he was asking. He said becasue my best friend's brother's girlfriend said that they were halfway up your back! OMG! I was so imbarresed because i am younger than her like 4 years younger. And she probbly wen't back and told all of her little friends! I feel horrible what should I do?

at my school everyone wheres short mini skirts and all and the fat girls NEVER get in trouble. and i have thys frend we'll call A she is very skinny and she had on a skort that when she put her hands down it was the right length. then theres thys other girl we'll call K and she is rather over weight and she never gets in trouble for her short skirts. what should we do? is there anything we can do?

lol fat girls in minis...well i guess its cuz they dont want the guys to be attracted to the pretty girls with good legs so if some fat girl wears it, its just unsightly and they dont care because its only hurting them.(maybe your eyes but anyway) ive heard of a lot of places doing that..try telling the principal this, maybe shell change the policy a bit.

I want to enter a contest that requires me to send in a tape of me singing a song. It doesn't specify if you're supposed to use an accompaniment or not, so i want to do it A Cappella to make sure they hear my voice. I want to do a soft rock song, like Pieces of Me by Ashlee Simpson, which I'd like to do but I'm not sure if it would sound good a cappella. Does anyone have any ideas?

pieces of me is a no-go. i was in a competition and i sang ashlee and it was one of my worst performances vocally. i would try something like "seasons of love" from rent or "for good" from wicked (musicals) they really show off your voice. umm any other song by kelly clarkson is good. i recommend "beautiful disaster". "breathe" is really good....i see someone already said that. good luck n hope i helped!

i'd like to know if it is wrong to donate your eggs/semen to couples who cannot copulate in exchange for money. There are constanly ads for this sort of thing and i'm broke. my boyfriend thinks it's horrible that i would want to give my not-yet-concieved child away, but if it provides me enough cash to stay in school, pay rent, and get to work on public transit I can't see how it is so wrong if i screen the people to give it to. i don't want to do the wrong thing to make money, i just naturally see it as helping people, nt selling a baby. please help?

wow this answer is gonna be totally against my religion...i say go for it if you think its safe. you get an egg every month so one wont make a difference. its not a child...its a POTENTIAL child. you could make another couple very happy and instead of just leavin in there to die, your giving it some sort of chance at life. i think it is alright.

all girls/women do that...even if theyre straight, trust me. no one is fully satisfied and they idolize what they dont have which maybe something that someone else has a problem with. for example, boobs. those who have them often get sick of them and those who dont, want them. its a normal part of life for most. as long as you dont start touchin them or somthing, theres nothing to worry about.
