is it true or not? cause i don't want to send 15 people a message unnecessarily if it's not true. and how would they even MONITOR 2 weeks for each member and if they've sent the message to 15 people? has anyone else gotten this cause if not i won't bother with it. i'll see if i get more but i also don't want to get my acct deleted it. i know better safe than sorry but i don't want to bother people unnecessarily ..
No, these are never true. If anything, you're more likely to have your account disabled for spamming if you did forward it. View Question
If i eat sweets and junk and healthy stuff as well but i don't over eat and i exercise will i loose weight?
It all depends on how many calories you eat and how many you use up.
No matter what you eat, if you do enough exercise to use up the excess energy, you'll lose weight. If you don't, you gain weight.
That said, sweets and junk food are usually high in calories as well as low in other nutrients, so make sure you that's not all you eat. View Question
do a college year go by fast?
This is entirely subjective. I'm in the second semester of my second year at uni, and I think time is going by fast, but then again, I'm a very busy person.
Do keep in mind that a year is going to be sub-divided into semesters or quarters (or something else) depending on the institution, and each one will be a new start in terms of classes. You will also have exams in between, so everything will appear to go by quickly.
As clichéd as it sounds, make the most out of your time at college. You won't be there for long. View Question
do asians have a different set of bmi?
If you mean the cut-off ranges for being overweight, yes, there is a revision that is specifically meant for Asian people.
There's a chart on this page:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Body_mass_index
Do keep in mind that BMI is only one way of measuring body size, and it is not the most accurate way to tell whether someone is overweight or not. View Question

I know that everyone who reads this will just say "Drop him!!" i have heard it from all my friends but i just want another opinion. Ok i have known this guy for about 3 or 4 months now, we have hung out and seen each other about once a week and we talk almost every other day. Though he is not my prince charming and i dont have the greatst connection with the kid i like him and idk y. well here is the kicker, we have sex and yet we are not like b/f and g/f i have talked to him multiple times about going out but he just says i dont want a relationship and that he just doesnt like me in that way..... idk what to do. I want to be with him but he refuses to want to be with me.... should i just drop him?
Well, what are you expecting us to say?
If he said that he doesn't want a relationship, then well, he doesn't want a relationship. You can't make him want to be with you if he doesn't. Get over him. I know, easier said than done, but there's really no point in staying with him if he doesn't want to be with you. View Question
how come adults and old people can't go to college?
and is there a cheat or someway to send them there?
The only way I can think of is using a cheat to change your Sim's age.
That is, you can change your adult / elder Sim back into a teen and then send that Sim to college.
Here's how you do it:
(WARNING: Do the following at your own risk. This is a cheat intended for the game's developers to test the game, and it can mess things up. At the very least, any marriages or romantic relationships will be ended if you change your adult Sim into a teen. Careers will also be gone.)
Open the game, press Ctrl + Shift + C, then type "boolProp testingcheatsenabled true" (without the quotation marks).
Now click on your target Sim while holding down the Shift button. There should be an option for you to change the Sim's age somewhere in the pie menu. Use that to change the Sim into a teenager.
You can now send your rejuvenated Sim to college.
The aforementioned code also allows you to do all sorts of other things. Feel free to explore at your own risk.
I recommend making a back up your game by making a copy of the game files, which are located in the "EA Games" folder under "My Documents". That way, if anything goes wrong, you can restore your original game by overwriting the aforementioned folder with your backup copy. View Question
I need some new hairstyles. I am tired of the same boring stuff i do to my hair everyday. I have long blonde hair. it is super thick and naturaly wavy but very poofy and frizzy. I straighten or curl it most days. I just need some new ideas and ways to put it up.
****I usually like to have some hair down around my face.
Tying your hair in a ponytail and then clipping it to the back of your head so that it sticks straight up would look interesting. If your hair is so long that it flops, coil it up in a bun and let the end stick up.
If you like having hair down around your face, you can leave some of your hair down, or have pigtails (which is what I normally do). Once you get used to it, it shouldn't take too long. I have hair down to my waist, and I only take five minutes to do my hair in the morning.
If your hair is long enough, you can also braid some of it and coil it round your head. That can be cool. View Question
I'm 16 and of course I know my size, but i was talking to my friend the other day, and he asked me what size I was. (no, he's not a creep like that, he has a gf and I have a bf, he is like a brother so I talk to him about everything) And when I said a 36C, he was surprised I wasn't a D, because his gf is a D and i seemed her size. I was just wondering, besides trying them on at a store to see what fits better, it there a way I can tell what cup size I am at home?
Thanks!
This site has a bra size calculator where you can enter your measurements and it will tell you what size you are.
http://www.85b.org/bra_calc.php
For accuracy, it is best to have someone help you with the measurements.
Some shops also offer measuring services. (A well-known and often cited one would be Victoria's Secret.)
Note that there are various statistics that say lots of women wear the wrong bra size, with the most common error being that of a band size that is too large.
For example, the cup of 36C bra would be about the same size as that of a 34D, but the 36C would have a longer band. (Of course, exact sizes depend on the type of bra, and they also differ between manufacturers.)
Of course, the most important thing is that your bras fit properly. Sizes are only a way of labelling.
EDIT: If you get measured in a shop, you keep your top on. Wear something that's fitted and not too loose or bulky for more accurate measurements. View Question
i just dont know if i am being rude or not nice by asking my mom for things. because right now we dont have a car and we like get rides from her boyfriend. and she told me how like the car cant take the heat because we live in the desert. so basically if i want to buy something at a store she told me that it wouldnt be possible cause of that. i see people driving in the heat. and i feel like i need to get those stuff like shampoos because i am trying to look more neat so her boyfriend wont think oh she doesnt know how to be neat. so thats the reason why i am impatient. if he wasnt here i wouldnt do it though but he is here too often.
Personal hygiene is important, so it's not rude of you to ask for shampoo. Just make sure you ask nicely.
If even the nearest shop is a long way away, try to hold out until your mom needs to go to the shops for herself, and ask her to buy you what you need while she's there. Only ask for things that you actually need. Being able to justify why you need it would be good.
Do note that if you can't convince your mom to buy you shampoo, not using shampoo can actually be good for your hair anyway. It's true. I have hair down to my waist and I don't use shampoo. Washing with water is enough. Here's some information about going poo-free.

i cant really decide between these two guys, i like then alot (i think) but i dont know which one to go for. steve is one of my best friends guys friends and has never had a real girlfriend but he is so funny and adorable, but not overly cute (which i dont mind).i dont know if he likes me, ive been hinting but he never really seems to notice but we have alot of fun together. the secand guy is jeff, he follows me around and likes staring at me in the hallways and talking to whoever is close to me, but never talking to me. hes cute and i think i could like him if hed stop being so creepy. Hes on the basketball team like me and runs track. lilly, age 16 and a girl
If you really need to ask who to go for, then maybe you shouldn't be going for either of them.
You said you and Steve have a lot of fun together. Why not just continue having fun together?
As for Jeff, if you find him creepy, why go for him? You said he doesn't talk to you. If that's the case, talking to him and getting to know him better would be a good start if you're interested (either in going for him or just being friends).
Don't rush things. You don't have to "go for" either one immediately. Maybe you'll have a better idea of which one to go for (if you still want to do so) after you get to know Jeff better. View Question
At the top of my Facebook profile my network has my high school name but the wrong class year. When I try to edit my birth year it won't let me change that and I can't figure out how to get my network to have my high school name with the correct year I will graduate.
How do I change that network?
If your graduation year is between 2009 and 2012, you can leave your school network and then rejoin it with the correct class year. This can be done on the "Networks" tab on the account page, which is linked at the top right corner of every Facebook page after you've logged in.
However, if you have already graduated (or even if you're in the class of 2008 but your school year hasn't finished yet), there isn't anything you can do to change your class year to the right one, because Facebook only allows current high school students to join high school networks.
Short of starting a petition to request Facebook to allow alumni to join high school networks, there isn't much that can be done.
If you really don't want the incorrect year on your profile, you can just leave the network altogether, but keep in mind that once you no longer have access to your high school email, you will not even be able to join the network with an incorrect class year. If you do want the correct information on your profile, click the "edit" link next to "Profile" at the top of any Facebook page, and add the information under the "Education" tab. View Question
I am a 17 year old young woman, who has a steady and loving, (but not yet sexual) relationship with my boyfriend of 18. We have been going out for a very long time now, and I know how silly it sounds but I really do think I love him.
My parents on the other hand do not. They don't even know I have feelings for him. The thing is, we were together for a bit and then I moved away, and we decided to cut it off. During this time I had a few non-serious relationships.
Three years later we moved back, and to my horror he and his ex girlfriend were having a baby. I decided to talk to him because a close friend told me that he hadn't been talking to anyone since they found out. To be honest it was heart wrenching to watch, five minutes into the conversation he broke out crying (Somthing I have never seen him do) about how scared he was, and how much he regreted it.
A few months later, we got back together secretly, because my parents would compleatly flip out if they knew.
Anyway, to get to the question, the big independent 18 is coming up, and I am starting to panic. For years my best friend and I have talked about moving out together, and now it's starting to become a posability. My question is, should I move out? Or stay, and date him in secret, that way I would be able to go to college and live at home, but on the other hand... If they were to ever find out... they'd kill me.
You did say you talked about moving out with your best friend, right? That is, not your boyfriend?
If that's the case, you really need to consider whether you want to move out because you want to finally see those plans come true, or because you just want to be out of your parents' house so that you can hide your relationship from your parents. It won't be fair for your best friend if it's the latter.
Also, consider all the extra responsibilities of moving out. You'll have to pay the bills, clean the house, cook for yourself, etc. Are you sure you're ready for this?
As for the boyfriend, as much as you must love him, there's a reason why your parents would not approve of your relationship. Do you know if he plans to play an active role in taking care of his baby?
If yes, this will be a huge responsibility for him, and it is also likely to make a big difference to his future. Not saying that dating someone who has a baby from a previous relationship isn't going to work, but it'll be more difficult, and being parents, your parents are going to want to protect you from it. You're still young, after all.
If your boyfriend isn't going to help his ex-girlfriend with the baby, your parents might think he is irresponsible, and that would also be a reason why they would disapprove of your relationship.
Ultimately, it's your decision. Most importantly... are you ready? View Question
I have the iPod touch, and I just got new nikes. So you know that thing that acts with your shoes, and tells you how much you've ran, calories, etc... well on the box it says it works with a nano. So would the itouch not be able to work with it?
Thanks
At the time of answering this question, while Apple's site doesn't seem to explicitly state that the iPod touch doesn't work with the Nike+ system, there are multiple sites where people say that it doesn't.
(See http://podophile.com/nike-ipod-faq/ and
http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20080301204140AAoEiFC)
However, Apple has announced that Nike+ equipment for the iPod touch will be released in the future.

I'm 15\f. A couple of months ago, I had a doctor's appointment and I had to cleanse my body by drinking only water the day before. I want to do that again this summer, only I want to go on a mainly liquid based diet for a couple of days, but is it true that if you drink, say, a total of 1 gallon of water a day ONLY, all you do is gain water weight? I also heard you burn thousands of calories though... Do you have to work it off with some extreme exercises or can you go about your day normally? In simplest terms, what is water weight? Thnx in advance.
Water weight is just the weight of the water in your body. Water accounts for 60-70% of a person's body weight.
If you drink a lot of water, the extra water in your body would add to your weight until it leaves your body through perspiration, breathing, or urination.
The amount of water your body stores can vary.
Too much salt in one's diet can increase the amount of water that is stored, so don't eat too much salty food.
Diuretics (such as caffeine) cause the body to lose water by passing more urine. However, attempting to lose weight by taking diuretics can be dangerous, and I do NOT recommend it.
Note that your body can also retain fluid before your period, and that excess fluid will be lost when your period comes.
If you don't eat anything with calories, your body will experience a net loss in calories because energy is used just to keep your body going. Since water does not contain calories, you do burn calories if you only drink water and don't eat.
However, it is not a good idea to go for extended periods of time without food just for weight loss. If you starve your body, your body will attempt to store more fat when you eat again. View Question
I'll try to sum it up short but our gym class is going bike riding 10km on friday to an ice cream place on a really hot day. One problem is, I just got ym period and when i do, I get really bad cramps. I could take Midol or something before we go but does it make you drowsy? I don't want to get hit by a car or anything. I'm the slowst bike rider ever and it's easy getting lost when you're going 10km!
Midol contains caffeine (intended for relieving fatigue), so if anything it's going to make you more alert.
Don't worry about being slow, because you probably won't be the only one, and if this is a class trip then your teacher (or whoever else that's organising it) should have planned a way of keeping everyone together.
I must say, you're so lucky to get to go bike riding with your gym class! I never had a chance to go bike riding with my school. View Question
Wow I'm stupid. So you know how people record themselves playing guitar and stuff to put on youtube? Well, I thought you could only use a camera. I just discovered people use webcams. But how? Is it only for laptops? Or can you buy a webcam and sit it on your computer? And if you do...what program do you get?
You can buy a webcam and connect it to any computer, usually via USB. They can cost anywhere from $20 to more than $100 depending on the model.
Some laptops have a built-in webcam, but the quality usually isn't very good.
Many instant messengers, such as MSN, Yahoo, ICQ, Skype, and AIM, support webcams. If you buy a webcam it is also likely to include software for you to record videos directly. View Question
http://s36.photobucket.com/albums/e44/Angie1626/?action=view¤t=aa.jpg
theres a picture of me.
im getting new glasses but cant decide on what looks good on me so i need advice..thick or thin rims, glass or plastic, colors...etc. or please find some sites with glasses you think would look cute on me. THANKS A BUNCH! =]
ps. im talking about like prescription ones not sunglasses :P
Looking at the photo that you linked, your hair already frames your face quite closely, so thick rims might be too much on your face.
With thin rims, you can probably get away with more colours than thicker rims. The choice of colour will depend on the colours that you normally wear. Pick something that doesn't clash with your clothes. I would suggest neutral colours like black or dark blue because they go with everything. (Probably not brown though, because that's too close to your hair colour.) A bright colour might look good, but you might regret it later.
As for the material, if you're getting thin rims then you might have more choice with metal ones. When you go to the shop, try some different ones and pick one that's light and comfortable. That is the most important. Metal ones will probably make you look more serious, whereas plastic ones will probably make you look more playful, but that depends on the colour too. View Question
Im leaving for spain and france next week and i was wondering what i need to convert the electricity so i can plug in my straightener. Do i need the whole converter? or is an adapter just fine? thanks
European countries usually have mains electricity of around 230 V, so if you're from the US or Japan where the mains electricity is around 120 V, you'll probably need a converter, and if you're from somewhere else you probably just need the adapter. View Question
Iam 19 years old and my mom won't let me get a job becouse i have a learning disablity i know that's the reason becouse she let my sisters get jobs why won't she let me?
If you know for sure that the reason she won't let you get a job is because you have a learning disability, why ask us?
Do you study? If you do, then your mom might be worried that you will have trouble coping with both work and studying. While you are still supported by your family, you should concentrate on your studies while you still have the option of not working. Many students have to work part-time to support themselves, and life can be difficult for those students.
Also, think about any other responsibilities that you might have. Are you keeping up with them? That could be a reason too.
If you want to know for sure, the best way is to ask her. View Question
