Hi my name is Angel, that's my real name. I'm a young adult now, I've had this advice column for years, but I made another one under the name anq3l_xo when I thought I couldn't access this one. A little bit about myself. I am a student, both in college and high school. I work as a nanny part time. I want to be a lawyer when I "grow up." I believe I've done a lot of growing up in my short life. I have conquered an obsession over drugs and alcohol in the last year and a half. I'm sober now and I wouldn't trade that for the world. I'm happy now. I'm in an absolutely blessed relationship with someone that I truly care about and love with all of my heart. I have been through things that you kids have nightmares about. I have seen, heard, and witnessed a lot of things that would make full grown men cry. I believe that I am innocent now, because I don't live that old lifestyle anymore. I have a lot of experience in a lot of things, and I've always been good at shedding light on dark situations. I come from a broken family, so I have step, half whatever siblings, and I just recently reunited with my real mother after she abandoned me 10 years ago. I have amazing friends today, but it wasn't always like that. I have a wonderful boyfriend and a great relationship with him, but let me tell you, it wasn't always like that. My sister is a drug addict/ alcoholic of the worst type. She's my best friend in the entire world, and I hope this 14 year old girl doesn't have to go through what I went through. I've come to understand that I can't help her, but I can help others through advice and by being of service to people around me. why did i just get really grossed out when my boyfriend told me he had to go take a shit? i mean i love him and we've been together for 15 months, shouldnt i already be over the "omg eww he goes poop" stage? lol

because, whether you like it or not, takinq a crap is pretty qross, and its not just a staqe, you can be qrossed out about it for the rest of your life, but its not that biq of a deal, the important thinq is, you love your boyfriend, whether he can crap or not.. hope i helped

me and my boyfriend have been together for 15 months now. I'm 16 and he's 17. He's gonna be a senior this year and im gonna be a junior. We're in love so much, it scares me and even makes me cry sometimes. I'm so afraid of losing him when he goes off to college. is it abnormal to be feeling these feelings now? its not completely wronq to feel like this at such a younq aqe, but you DO both need to see other people at some point, if he loves you as much as you love him, then you wont lose him when he leaves for college.. and dependinq on the colleqe he will probably come visit you pretty often anyways, you quys could break up, but there are other people out there, i really dont think you will break up but remember its not the end of the world just because somethinq bad happens, life and love both qo on.. hope i helped

qive the quy a chance first off, if your brother picked him out as a friend, he can`t be too horrible riqht? but if you dont want to like him, then tell your brother just be like "(name) i know this may sound weird, but i think your friend ____ is a little too friendly to me when your not around, and its kinda creepy and annoying" or you can just talk to the kid yourself, i`m sure he will stop if he knows hes making you feel uncomfortable.. hope thinqs work out and i hope i helped!

im trying to lose about 10 pounds and i just cant.. its hard for me to stay on a diet and not eat junk foods and when i do exercises.. nothing happens-- im 120 if that helps? can anyone please tell me ways to stay on a diet!! thanks in advance-- i rate well

im sry i just picked this category cuz its where most people go. but somhing weird just happened. i was out bak and itss very dark cuz its like 9. and i look at the woods in my yard and.............i saw something. ....i dont want 2 believe wat i saw cuz peeps wud tthink im wweird....but i saw a pair of bright...hypnotic...red eyes. now im the kinda guy who think movies like signs and the mothman prophocies r wicked gay. i dont get scared by hem i getbored. but as i stared at these eyes i felt llight headed andd i kept hearing this sharp,crackly sound coming rom he eyes. then it all of a sudden took off!!i jumed up in the air i saw its shadowy silouhette in the sky. it reminded me alot bout mothman. but i live in Mass. this has really freakedd me out. should i tell som1?

my hair, is light brown or dark blonde or sumthin like that! itz long.. rite now itz a lil bit past my boobs.. haha, anyways.. ive never gotten it hi-lighted b4 & i want to.. but i dont know like what color & how think or think i want them and all that stuff! sum1 told me i wud look good with blonde hi-lightes & black weaved in.. but im not sure?? any suggestions??

well, what you should do if you high-light your hair, try one or two shades lighter than your actual hair color, ask you hair stylist or something, they usually know what there talking about, it also depends on your skin tone, but try not to high-light it a completely different shade of blonde, try to go something slightly lighter than what you already have, i hope i helped and good luck!

ima 14/f, this guy *Nathan i liked smokes weed.. he didnt really notice me, so i started smokin weed with all the people he hung around with. Now, im kinda like addicted to weed. if *nathan really likes you, then it shouldnt matter if you smoke or not, as for having sex, dont do it just so he wont break up with you, don't feel like you cant talk to your parents about it because they can make you listen better than anyone on this site, but I know exactly where you're coming from, talk to nathan and be like "what would you do if i stopped smoking?" and if he says that he would break up with you, then hes not a good boyfriend in the first place, but if he really does like you for more than smoking and sex, then he should care about your feelings and you should be able to talk to him about this, as for smoking, you really should stop because it is bad, I know its hard, but things could get worse if you dont stop soon, your young and should spend your time doing other things, i really hope this helps and good luck, IM me if you really want to talk, sillyangel869

if you want him to say that he loves you, then do something sweet for him, you dont need to do anything huge, but just like do something nice, he could tell you he loves you then, but if he doesnt, then wait for a good moment when its just the two of you and tell him you love him, or you could ask him one day, "do you really love me?" and then he should say "yes" then you can say, "i love you too" its really not as hard as it may seem. hope i helped

well... it depends on your age, I know that most girls that are at least 13 shave down there.. whatever makes you feel comfortable, if your young like me.. then wait longer before you have sex, because you will regret it believe me, but if your older and you havent done anything with your bf then maybe if you wanna do something, hugging, kissing cuddling= fun stuff :-)... um hope i helped.. :-/

i'm a vegetarian, and i have been for quite a while now, but the problem is, i can't tell my parents. a couple of years ago, when i was 13 or so, i tried this, and they refused to let me not eat meat. now i just avoid all meat, i'll either say i'm not hungry or eat around the meat around my parents. i strongly disbelieve in eating animals, and i just can't bring myself to do it. please help me work out a way to let my parents know, without a fear of being scoffed at or punished, and let them know that i don't believe in eating meat. thanks!

sorry for answering soo late, i`ve been on vacation for over a week now... you should tell your parents... dont tell them in a way that sounds like meat is bad all together, dont try to convince them to be vegetarians as well, but tell them that it doesnt make YOU feel comfortable to eat meat, explain to them that nothing can really stop you from not eating meat, and if they try to punish you for it.. all i can say is "parents will be parents" they can do whatever they want about it, maybe you should tell them individually... not at dinner tho, just like at the store be like "mom, i dont really eat meat that much anymore..." and if she gets mad then just tell her that you've been doing it for a while, and if you eat meat after not eating it for so long, you can get sick from it [[no joke]] hope i helped and i hope i wasnt too late..

Am I obsessive compulsive if i constantly have to crack my toes, or move my feet? also i have to put me teeth together in a weird way. I've tried to not crack my toes, but then it feels as if my legs are numb. i have to be able to move my toes in my socks and shoes, is this normal? please help!

Hello. My name's Amanda and I'm 15 and from New York. I've loved the spotlight since I was a very little girl and I can't think of a time when I wasn't entertaining someone. My main interests are dancing and acting but I also do a lot of singing and modeling too. I remember being a little girl and singing and dancing around the house and I'm always getting complimented on my acting and modeling skills, haha. Of course I don't want to sound like I'm bragging but it's just the truth and I want you to know the truth before you go and give me advice. Anyways, I've been taking dance classes since I was about 5 or so and when I was in 3rd grade I started singing in a children's choir along with getting vocal training. I sung in the choir untill I was 13 and now I've moved on to other things. I'm searching for an agent right now and I've begun taking acting classes. The reason I'm writing here is because I need advice on my parents. They don't seem to support me as much as they used to. I mean, they're awesome parents but they think I should be more focused on becoming a lawyer or doctor(which I have no interest in) then becoming an entertainer or someone in the entertainment industry. I don't understand why they're acting so cold lately towards my dreams. I know that it takes a lot of work to become something but I'm willing to work hard for it and I just wished they had my back. Also, my friends seem to think that my vocal and acting training and stuff is silly and they don't see why I go on auditions and stuff. It really hurts when they mock me for what I do...I know they don't mean to hurt me but I don't like it at all. Most of my friends are really big jocks and so am I but I'm a very verstile(sp?) person and I like other things too and they can't seem to understand that. Anyone have any advice?
