I have been nevous about going back to school since July. school is gonna start next monday (yea early) and i'm scared about i guess everything ( classes, new friends, teachers, friends, friends, and enemies). How can i get over my school gitters by Monday?

i'm going to 10th grade too. i know school can be scary, but everyone is feeling the same thing.

classes-nothing to worry about, every1s in the same situation as you are, because they're new to the class too.

new friends-that's actually a good thing. you might meet people you really enjoy hanging out with.

teachers-EVERYONES afraid of teachers.

friends-same as b4.

enemies-don't worry about it whatsoever, because worrying doesn't make them go away. they'll always people you won't like and people you will.

juss think positively as best as you can and you'll be ok. juss remember that every1 went through the same situation at one time er another. stay strong!

yeah i tried looking for sims cheats online but i cant find any. the only ones i know is that you do control-shift-c, and then type in rosebud for $1,000, and also the exclamation point and semicolon thing for more money. anyone know of a site with a lot of them, or can just write them down for me? ive tried lookin for them a lot on different websites but it hasnt worked for me. will rate!

im 13/f and my friend was over at my house today and i showed her this site and she wanted an advice column. i told her that she was to young (shes 11) and she got really mad. so my question is:
why doesnt this site allow anyone under 13 to be a columnist?

basically its because theres some "sex" questions on here, so they thought being a teen would fit, rather than a preteen er anyone under age i guess.

I like wearing sportbras because they are comfy ..can someone just wear a camisole with a built in bra ? when i wear bras with straps why do the straps pop off? i am always afraid it will snap off is there anything i can do to make sure they wont?? .. thanks

i know some people that do juss wears camisoles that work pretty well. also there is a type of bra you can buy at like jc penny er something w/ the texture of a sportbra but has the straps SIZE of a regular bra, but same texture as a sportsbra so it wont ever snap off.

I was in the kitchen making cookies when I discovered that I had no vanilla extract. The cookie recipie that I'm using calls for only 1/2 teaspoon of the extract, but I'm worried about how they would turn out.

Is it ok to leave out the vanilla extract, or are there any substitutes for vanilla extract?

my husband is an alcholic, he promises to stop drinking but i always seem to find bottles of beer hidden in different places how can i help him stop he seems to think he is not hurting anyone but i dont like the drunken behaviour in front of my kids even though they are grown up but now he has his first grandchild and yet he still wont stop, you see he stopped drinking for 22 years and for the last 5 he has been secretly drinking cause everytime i find his bottl es we argue can you advise me please.

talk to your husband asap. you guys love eachother and have kids together. i know being an alcoholic means its hard to stop, but you REALLY need to talk to him, especially because of your kids. your kids go by your actions, especially grandkids. you basically need to tell him FOR them. juss talk to him about it. maybe he'll decide to change.

Any ideas for 16th bday partys??
i dont wanna spend too much though..its in december and i need to invite ALOT of ppl...ill rate high, thx =)

try to go to a nice resturaunt, but if its REALLY alot of people, a hotel thing would be AWESOME but definately not cheap. if you live near like starts, dave n busters, sportbar/rest. with stuff for alot of ppl to do, that'd be neat. plus its inside so no problems there. theres not much you can really do in december, but rests. are cool!

Alright- so my best guy friend might like me. How do I let him know that I sort of like him too without being vulnerable to rejection? Or I guess how can I hint it to him in a subtle way?

tell him how you feel. okay, there COULD be some rejection, but what if you never tell him, and he feels the same exact way you do? juss be open. it's not being vulnerable. i'm sure he wouldn't mind. if you truly are afraid of it, flirt around a bit. try to send him the right messages, but the right thing to do is honestly tell him.

Okay, I'm sorry, but this is going to be REALLY long.
I was at summer camp last week, and i went with a bunch of my friends. We were having oodles of fun, and there was this guy there that i have liked for EVER! He lives near me and i see him alot, but he has never acted interested in me before. Now, at camp on...Tuesday, during the night game he sat next to me (on a loveseat) and started to poke my knee. So i poked him back. then he took his elbow and dug it into my hip so i jabbed him really hard in his side....it was kinda funny. Then he took his hand and kept putting it on my knee. I wasn't comfortable with that so i kept pushing it off but he wouldn't stop. Then on Wednesday he asked me to play tetherball with him, i so won. then we played pingpong, and i definitly lost. Then on Thursday it got REALLY weird. First I was in crafts and he was in pingpong. Those two games are in the same room. He lost in pingpong so he was sitting down. He called me over and told me too sit on his lap. I did not!!! Then I sat next to him in the chair next to him. He asked for my hand and i said "why" he said he wanted to see somthing. So i held out my hand. Then he just started holding onto my hand and stuff. I was really uncomfortable with this. After that my team and his team were assigned to go to the pool togeather. So while we were at the pool i did NOT want to go swimming. He kept splashing me and trying to push me in, and i was in my cloths! Then i got sick of it so i just jumped into the pool, cloths and all, and dunked him. Okay. He kept holding my hand all day and stuff and on friday, I was really uncomfortable with it. Then on friday everyone in camp catchs him making out with this girl!!!! Now i dont know what to think!!! I dont want to yell at him or anything, cause he is going through alot of problems and he has always been able to talk to me about them and no-one else. So i dont want him to think he cant. what should i do!!!!????

it seems like he likes you, but since you weren't comfortable with any of this, he wanted to make you jealous. i think you should talk to him, because maybe you guys will be a good couple.

Hey well me and my best guy friend have been friends for as long as i can remember. everyone says he likes me. when we went swimming (beware- this is cheesy) he was like "go deeper into the lake so i can save you". its really corny but my friends are all "he was using that as an excuse to hug you" and crap like that. my friends also think he took me to the lake as a 'date' but he didn't call it that to me. he was like all over me while swimming as well... i'm not sure what this guy wants or what's going on. i didn't even really think much of it until my friends made a big deal about it. anybody have any thoughts?

it doesnt make you fat. it juss means your gifted in that area. guys like that i think but since ima girl i wouldnt know. its not too common to wear it, depending on your age.

ok, so my mini ipod usually connects to my computer and it automatically shows up on the side collum of my itunes, but just now it woulnd't connect. i'v tried so many ways.

no its not on hold when i try to connect and the ipod is working fine. it just wont connect to the computer cuz i really want to get more songs on it.
can some one help me?

my camera does the exact same thing!! its so annoying and i cant figure out how to fix it either. i think it's the usb ports. try playing around w/ it.

The other day I was changing because I had just gotten out of the shower. My best friend (a guy) was coming over. I was just in my bra & underwear when he got to my house. My mom let him go to my room, because there hasn't been anything going on with us in the past, so she's not concerned. Well, he opened the door and saw me in just my undergarments. It's really not a big deal. but he's acting all weird about it like "hehehe i saw your underwear" and won't let it go. he didn't even apologize when he saw me he just like stared for a minute. SO how can I get him back to acting normal?!?!?! He is being such a jerk and won't cut it out.
If anybody has any advice as to get him to stop acting to stupid please, do tell!!!

hmm that seems like a guy thing. he probably juss gets a kick outta the fact that he saw you in your underwear. talk to him about it. tell him it's getting annoying. either that or do the same to him. try to catch him in HIS underwear. things will be evened out. maybe he doesn't know its truly bothering you. juss talk to him about it first.

I have liked this guy for a year. He said he liked me and to wait till summer so we can be together. Well its summer and he still never asked me out or anything. Hes hurt me soo many times. I met this other great guy and i think we have something. And I know that he'll never hurt me. I dont know who to like!!!

well, it seems like that guy has a difficult time committing. talk to him about it. how he hurt you and that you like him, but it's juss been too long. if he doesn't really say anything about being together/going out, etc. then go for the other guy you met. he seems like a better choice since he won't hurt you.

Okay, well one of my friends was talking to me, and she said she thought she was overwieght. She doesn't really look it, but she said she's gained about 20lbs in the past year. She thinks it may be due to stress because she moved just this past year. Well she had to leave her boyfriend behind and everything, and now she's maintaining a long distance relationship, which we all know can be stressful. Anyway, her boss usues relacore, and has an extra bottle, and my friend told me she was thinking about using it. So I asked her if it was safe and she said she wasn't sure. So I visited a website, relacore.com and I still wasn't completely sure if it was safe or not. She's only 15 and I wasn't sure if this was something that only adults should use, or something of the such. Anyway, we just wanted to know if relacore is okay for a 15 year old girl to take, and if not are there any other diet pills you could reccommend? Thanks in advance

tell her not to take it. if you aren't sure, then don't let her juss try it. there's much more healthier ways to lose weight than that and i know how to do it. if you need more help on ways, other than diet pills, etc. ill be glad to help. im pretty sure it should only be used for adults.

try to keep doing it nicely. tell him that he's a great friend, but you don't wanna go out with him, because you don't want to ruin the friendship. eventually if he doesn't listen you'll have to tell him off, but start with that.

tell him exactly what you juss typed. tell him you have feelings for him, but you aren't sure if he feels the same. tell him you wanna get to know him better, etc. you should definately tell him before he goes to college so he can plan time for you guys.

The first day i get my period i always feel sick. i feel like i have to vomit and i get these really horrible cramps that actually make me cry. its only the first day i get my period. after the first day is over i dont even get cramps anymore..but my question is why do i get like that the first day of my period.

i have the exact same thing as you but not as bad. i started in 5th grade too, and i think that since it's the first day of your period, that's why its bad unlike the other days. to help, its completely normal and almost everyone i know has the same problem. idk if there's really a reason, probably juss because its the first day of the cycle.

I have windows XP, how can i hide my files from other users on the computer..like me and my sister have different accounts..how can i hide my files from her and my parents? thanks

do you guys all have the same password? if they don't know your pw they can't get into your account. Unless you change your history through internet explorer for websites, i think that's the only thing you can do, other than deleting files.
