mini ipod

ok, so my mini ipod usually connects to my computer and it automatically shows up on the side collum of my itunes, but just now it woulnd't connect. i'v tried so many ways.

no its not on hold when i try to connect and the ipod is working fine. it just wont connect to the computer cuz i really want to get more songs on it.
can some one help me?

Did you connect the FireWire cable to the FireWire port, or the USB 2.0 cable to the 2.0 port? If you did one of those, it should work. The USB 2.0 looks like 3 arrows, and the FireWire symbol is 3 sets of lines surronding a circle. Hope I helped!

you can try re-starting the computer, because that usually works for me when it won't connect.

my camera does the exact same thing!! its so annoying and i cant figure out how to fix it either. i think it's the usb ports. try playing around w/ it.

Sometimes my iPod won't connect either. I'm not sure if you've tried this yet, but re-starting my computer usually works for me. If you've already tried that, then I'm not sure.
