I saw that your already married, have a baby and are a law student. Well how did you decide you wanted to be a law student. Im a senior in high school now and its time for me to be deciding what I want to major in. I love kids, i love helping people, i want to make decent money, im making all A's, i like psychology and english classes, im good with computers. Any ideas?
When I was a senior in high school, I went to my local community college and asked them for help deciding on a career path or a major. They gave me this test on the computer that measures many different skill and preference levels. Afterwards, a guidance counselor went over it with me. She suggested that I might like being a teacher, lawyer, or librarian. So my first year in college, I took and education class, a law class, and a library science class. I read everything I could about all three of them. By the end of my first semester, I knew exactly what I wanted.
I recommend trying something similar. Try calling the nearest college and asking if they have a similar test. It really helped. http://www.princetonreview.com has good basic career resources, you might want to try their career quiz.
You sound like you have similar interests to me. You say you like kids, helping people, and you seem to be doing good in school. You might consider being a tutor for exceptionally smart children, or a child psychologist. Since you say you want to earn well, you may want to consider psychology.
Most colleges recommed remaining undeclared for you first year. For your first year; relax, study a little bit of everything, and work closely with your counselors to find what you believe is best for you.

It depends a lot on the look your going for. But, I think that a nice dainty necklace would look great. Maybe something like a thin chain of gold of silver with a small charm. Also, look for a matching bracelet, and maybe an anklet as well if your ankles show. You should look very graceful.

Sports bras will make your boobs look a little bit smaller. Also, try not to wear shirts that are tight across your chest. I know it's hard when you're skinny, because it makes shirts fit funny. Other than that, just wait and save up for a breast reduction when you are older. Don't let anyone tell you not to get a reduction "because men like boobs," because the most important thing is that you are comfortable.

hey i got my belly button pierced on new years....i just took it out a while back and now i want to get it re-done.....is it going to hurt worse the second time because of scare tissue? or will it not hurt as bad because there are no nerves in the skin.....help! hahah
My friend had the same situation with her tongue. I don't know if it works the same, but the artist told her that he couldn't pierce her through the same place. He pierced a little further back, and it bled a lot and she said it hurt. It didn't bleed or hurt at all the first time. But like I say, I don't know if it's the same for belly buttons.

I think that you a preacher could answer a lot of your questions. They are all very caring and very sensitive about such situations. Even if you are not a member of a church, call one and see if you can get some time to talk to the reverend. I believe that he/she would be able to answer all of your questions, and really help you out.

If you are near a library, there are usually dozens of books with tons of tips for job interviews. I really recommend reading them, because they have practice questions, role playing situations, and tips and advice. A lot of them cover everything from how to dress, to how to follow up after the interview.

I found a pipe and a lighter in my brother's draw. I was furious because I'm am strongly against smoking. He's in college...I understand he's old enough to make his own descisions, but he has a lot going for him and I don't want him to screw up his future....What are the possibilities of what he was smoking? Like weed..tobacco?And, is there a site that has the bad effects of it, or if you guys can list some that will convince him to stop, I would appreciate it!
To tell what he was smoking, smell the pipe. Pipe tobacco usually has a woody, wholesome aroma. Pot has a very distinct smell that I can't really describe. If it was hidden, I would think it might be pot, unless your family is very anti-smoking, then it could be either. Also, a pipe for weed is usually small and narrow, with a metal bowl. A pipe for tobacco usually has a large bowl, and is normally made of wood.
If you talk to your brother a lot, let him know how you feel, and how much you want him to quit.

in college I want to major in interior decorationg because I think I have a flair in that type of art. for those who don't know that much about it, it's when you help design color schemes, furniture, decorations, paint, etc. for peoples' rooms and stuff. Well I want to know if that's a good paying job and if I'll make enough money to support myself and kids, a house, etc. I'm not trying to be selfish, but I really want to know if it's a good enough job. I have cuts up my nose.. im not sure how but probably becuase i kept picking my nose everymorning because I had a bag cold i didnt want to go to school with giant greenies hanging out my nose! Now my nose feels like ive been blowing it for ages you know that feeling right? But how do i make my cuts up my nose heal? BEcuase you cant really put any creams up there to stop them hurting and to heal up really.. so ya any help guys sorry if you find it sick and that you find nose picking is sick but we all do it and its better than walking around with a clogged up nose and yes i do pick my nose AT HOME in PRIVARTE lol im not THAT sick thanks x
I don't think there's much that you can do to help them heal. Try not to touch the inside of your nose for a while. I had a cut there once, and it healed pretty quick. Be careful if you try any creams, since the skin up your nose isn't really skin.
BTW, I believe that all sane people pick their nose in private. You're cool for admitting it.

You can't really major in veterinary medicine. You can, however, major in pre-veterinary medicine. This major leads you to veterinary school, but most veterinary schools don't require you to major in pre-vet to enter. It takes six to eight years to complete veterinary school.

well here it goes..
i like this boy who i have dated in the past (let's call him *j). He tends to drink a lot as well as smoke. However, now he has cut back a lot on smoking. My friends think that in our previous relationship he didn't treat me right. Well, he did cheat on me with other girls while he was drunk. But, he confessed. On valentines day (while we were going out) he gave another girl a card saying he loved her. Yet, knowing me.. i just let it go. About a month after that incident we broke up, and now we are starting to like eachother again after a break of about 2 months. However, this time he is treating me different & way better. He actually calls me now as well as asking me to do stuff outside of school. He even calls me when he is around his friends, which he like never did in our previous relationship. Now i am debating as if he really has changed and wants a commitment or if he is just the same. Last week, he kissed me.. & that is giving me mixed signals. Now, i like him even more, which is killing me because how do i know he is a different person.
People can change, but they don't usually. I would go ahead and pursue the relationship, but take it very slowly, and be on my guard. At the first sign of trouble, I'd dump him hard and fast.
People tend to say "once a cheater, always a cheater," and I've only seen one case where it wasn't true.
Maybe you could start out as friends. Spend more time around him, but don't get too serious too quickly. If you do pursue a relationship with him, be very careful, and remember to look out for yourself. Good luck.

It kind of depends on the file. You can password a Word document from File>Properties within Microsoft Word. If there is a way to password a folder, I don't know how. Other than that, you can put a password to enter your desktop, like the advice before this said.

when somebody says like "meet me here at oh eight hundred" what time do they mean for you to meet them?? i have neve rbeen able to figure out that little system haha. or when somebody asks you to go on a date and they are like "what time" and they go "oh about ninteen hundred! "....what time do they mean?! thankyou!
They are refering to military time. Any time in the morning is the same. "oh nine hundred" is 0900, 9:00 AM. The hours don't start over at one after noon. You'd normally go 11:00 AM, 12:00 PM, 1:00 PM. Military time goes 1100, 1200, 1300... all the way to 2400. Hope that helps.

Is it ok to still think you pretty even though, some people think you ugly, or if they call you ugly then you should go ahead and say your ugly. I'm having that kind of problem. My whole entire family says I'm pretty and cute but I don't know if they're just saying that. My aunt told me that she wasn't saying that just to make me feel good, she said that she SERIOUSLY thinks that im pretty. Even my friend says every body should think their pretty because that was called self confidence. But i just don't know...
If people are taking time to call you ugly, then they must feel threatened by something you've got. Either they're jealous of your looks, or of something else.
It's absolutely ok to think that you're pretty. If you look in the mirror and see something pretty about yourself, then it really is there!

I don't think you need to worry about making that decision now. Stay friends with her as long as you can. Good friends are really hard to find. As long as she stays herself, you have nothing to worry about. Start thinking about that _if_ she starts turning bad again. I hope that she doesn't, and that you both stay friends.

Definately not. There are lots of guys (the good ones), that are looking for how a girl is on the inside. Also, not every guy has the same idea of pretty.
Those guys at your school that are calling girls ugly are not worth it. Relationships based on appearances never work out, mostly because they have nothing in common. And remember, looks don't last.

My husband went through a phase like that before we were married. He went to a gay bar and made out with a guy. It totally did nothing for him, and the phase passed, just like that.
...I'm not recommeding that your boyfriend go make out with men. I'm just relating a story to let you know that some guys do have phases like that. :-)
