formal party!! =)
me and my freinds are going to a really really fomal party tonight, i have a black gown im going to wear, andi think they are going to make my hair all curly, but what else should i do, like what sort of jewelry, how should i do my makeup, etc... thanks in advance!!

I wouldn't go with the curly hair, because that screams more casual than formal. Here are a few styles that I think would work for your hair-

is a style that screams party and fun, but stays in place to make your look seem formal and finished. It looks a little windblown in the photo, but just gently curl it to create the waves and leave them in the back.
For makeup, either play up your eyes or your lips.
If you want to play up your eyes, try a dark purple eyeshadow and use it as an eyeliner and gently line only the top eyelid. then take a translucent lavender and color your lids in with that to open your eyes up but at the same time creating dark, lush lashes. Wear a neutral lipgloss with that.
To play up your lips, choose a lush color like a dark red or a pink shade and set a shiny lipgloss over it. Wear a shade of eyeshadow with a bit of sparkle but the same shade as your skin.

If you are going to do your hair curly then you should spice things up a little by adding some colorful jewlery so you dont look too plain. Try a turquoise/aqua blue color that color is very "in" this season..or try a red as another possibility. :)

diamonds or crystal look great with black for the jewelry. white pearls work too. formakeup when i were black clothes i wear black eyeliner and mascara. for the eyeshadow i put a black on the bottom of my eye and then a white or light pink on the rest of my lid . fleshy colors work good too though.for blush the best to do is use a shade darker than you natural skin tone if you are tan. if not you should use a light light pink .(apply on your cheek bones.)for your lips you could go out there and wear a vivid red. that usually only works when you are blonde.but tan brunets can make it work. anything else... i would go with a pink liner and a pinkish clear gloss over a LIGHT pink
lipstick.

blue eyes:black liner
brown eyes:forest/dark green liner
green /hazel eyes:brown liner

keep ur make up soft and wear silver it goes with black better than gold. have twists or ringlets pin up and u will knock them dead at the party. kk

You should wear your hair curly, make sure you use some kind of frizz ease so your hair doesn't get frizzy or fall out of place. For makeup you should stick with your natural makeup and make your eyes stand out more by using eyeshadows that are silver, you could even use 2 colors of eyeshadow that are similar. Use eyeliner but not to much. Use a shimmery lipstick to make your lips stand out also.

It depends a lot on the look your going for. But, I think that a nice dainty necklace would look great. Maybe something like a thin chain of gold of silver with a small charm. Also, look for a matching bracelet, and maybe an anklet as well if your ankles show. You should look very graceful.
