(wrong category..) well..16/f. i used to have acne..serious acne..and then it cleared up when i was 15. now that i'm 16, it all came back again..and this time it's really severe. well, i'd say that i'm good-looking. but the acne just really does lower my self-confidence. and i'm going on accutane but i'm only starting it in one month. during this time..i'm afraid that my boyfriend might not like me if my acne gets even worse. i mean...it doesnt really ruin me..but i couldve looked better without it. i dont know =| should i really be worried about my boyfriend and acne?? I most definitely know what you're going through.
Don't let your acne get you down... lots of people are forced to deal with it throughout high school. Accutane should definitely help so don't worry about it for now. If you really feel self-concious you could always dab a little concealer over your acne.
Don't worry about what your boyfriend would think. I know everyone will tell you this but its true: If he really loves you then he won't care about a little acne, he'll just see the wonderful you underneath.

Okay, I have couple of years before I have to decide what I want to do at Uni but I'm trying to at least have some sort of idea right now.
I'm really into Business and I have 3 things in mind; I'd like to be either a retail store manager, a hotel manager (and eventually maybe hotel owner) OR open my own retail business.
Seeing as I don't know which I'll pursue, if I studied business management would I be prepared for all 3 of these fields? Or would I need more?
I know there are courses specifically for hotel management but generally in the UK you need to go to a special technical college for that and I don't want to do that, I want to go to University. (link)

Business management sounds as if it would encompass all these fields (well, I suppose that hotel management sticks out a bit but it's general enough to include it too) yet I think that if you are still unsure, you should take a variety of courses that are directed specifically towards these plans. For example, take a course that you would specifically need for hotel management. Also try and find people that work in these jobs so you can see how well you would get paid and where you would start if you were to join one of these businesses. It's not worth pursuing if you are forced to start way at the bottom and you have to work yourself up over a long period of time.

Drink a lot of water, of course, before your audition, and do not eat anything that might coat your throat, such as sugary drinks and candy. Milk is also not the greatest to have before an audition for the same reason. Also taking a teaspoon of honey in warm water will help freshen you up. Before you sing your audition, always warm up your voice.

I'm a 19 year old girl who looks like a boy! People always think I'm a boy or end up confused and ask if i'm a boy or a girl. But I also look like a 14 year old boy, so I don't even look my age. Everyone thinks i'm cute, so i'm not an ugly looking boy.. lol! But it's getting annoying already...
And it's not like i'm a dirty sports playing tomboy. And I like MEN! But lesbians think i'm cute.

I would definitely focus more on your hair and your clothing, and maybe buy clothes from trendy stores that other girls in your school buy from? Also, a fresh face is always prettier than one that is covered up in makeup. Also, a perfume is a great way to feel feminine, especially a fresh floral one. The store Sephora has a lot of perfumes that you might be interested in.

Just ask him to go to the mall with you, or to come over your house sometime, so he takes it casually and you guys can hang out for a bit before you ask him to go somewhere more date-like, like a dinner or a movie. That way you will already be comfortable around each other and you'll have a good time.

I personally think that GoSMILE is the best tooth whitener out there. you can get it from Sephora.com for around $80, but it's worth it.

I would style it like the ancient Hawaiian hula dancers- braid your hair tonight and sleep on it. In the morning, separate the waves and add a light hairspray to them to keep their bounce. Then stick a lei on top and you're done!

Talk about school, talk about life. Talk about your classes and talk about the teachers- do you like them or hate them? Agree with him sometimes, but try to make it an interesting discussion. Talk about stuff like sports you both play, or activities you both enjoy. Talk about anything!

hi. i never excericise. i don*t play sports, i don*t run or walk much, and i don*t work out. but i realized that i really want nice abs, so i*m trying to come up with a plan for me to do a number of crunches a day for 2 months to get nice abs. so far i*ve decided to do 50 crunches every night and 40 every morning. do you think that i*ll have abs in 2 months? if not how many should i do then? I think that that plan is okay, but if I were you I'd try something a little less repetitive, like Pilates. Pilates will give you abs in two months definitely. Doing too many crunches will hurt and it's really repetitive. Pilates is fun and it is a really easy set of exercise moves that will give you abs in no time!
Otherwise, crunches are okay, and I would give it a bit more time to get abs than 2 months.

tomorrow for a labor day picnic, im inviting a handful of my friends over. I cant think of anything to do and how to entertain them. Try arranging a scavenger hunt! If you split your friends into a few groups, and hid a couple of clues around, you could give a prize to the first people who finish the scavenger hunt. If you don't like that idea, I would go to this website-

Basically, if you do some general exercising, your body will lose fat. It's not really your choice where you lose it, your body will just pick a spot.
If you exercise daily and stay off junk food, you will eventually lose your double chin.

If anything, I would deliberately flirt with his friend when you're with both of them. Don't tell anything to the guy who likes you unless he really asks you out...then you have every right to say "sorry, let's just stay friends." Just hang out with both of them a lot, and try to get to know his best friend. If you get the vibe that he likes you too, then go right ahead and ask him out.

If you're talking about a glow, it's probably bronzer. Bronzer adds a flush to your face like you've just been tanning at the beach w/o the harmful UV rays. If you put on bronzer, some blush, light lipgloss, and some warm toned brown eyeshadow, you will get the glowing look.

If you want to start to wear makeup, you need to go really natural- no blue eyeshadow or outrageous colors. I'd go for a fresher, dewey look.....just wear a little lip gloss and a bit of blush, and if you really want to go with a tan eyeshadow. Just ask your mom if she will get you some lip gloss, and at the store ask her if you can get some eyeshadow or whatever you want. If she doesn't think it's the right time to start wearing makeup, then I would try again when you are 15-16.

I felt exactly the same way, and this seems like a question that I can see myself asking. Basically, I felt like a third wheel with my friends, like they didn't need me with them to have fun, and that they'd rather not be with me. Instead of getting upset, I went around and made some new friends that i have a lot of fun with and that treat me really like a best friend! I still have my old friends, and now that I don't try to hang out with them 24/7, they are more willing to hang out with me.

First, try not to tell him that he is wrong and that he has no fancy cars and you live in the same kind of house as him, because you're just fueling him to pretend even more. I would just laugh his comments off like "You're getting an IPod? Of course you are....." and be sarcastic about it. If he persists with the comments, he might just be insecure about his friendship with you.....he might think that he needs to prove himself to make you accept him. I would tell him that you pick friends on character, not how much stuff they have.

Okay, for the past..6 years my sister and I have been trying to get a dog. But all my mom says is no. I don't think my dad would mind just as long as it didnt shed. She Court [[my sister]] and I have found numerous types of dogs that are SO cute AND don't shed. All my mom says is I'll consider it. It's on all of our Christmas/Birthday lists but nothing happens. I say that you and your sister put together a powerpoint about these dogs, such as poodles, who do not shed and the cost of upkeep and such. If you do this you will prove to your parents that you are responsible, so that they will see that you can take care of a dog together. I would also mention the smaller dogs, such as a miniature or toy poodle that has a smaller appetite and a smaller requirement for exercise, because those dogs would be easier and cheaper to take care of.
