ok, im 13, and i don't no what to do, i want to start to wear makeup but i kind of don't, i mean if i do, how will i tell my mom ,and if i don't when do i start?

Okay well if you really want to, wear something light, something that people can barely notice. and then if you dont well than wait until high school. Thats what I did. Yeah, I wore eyeliner but thats about it. And I'm sure your mom wont freak out. Just tell her that you think that your about ready to start wearing some make-up and tell her that your not going to wear A LOT.

Lol, well to tell your mom just simply say "Mom, is it okay if i start to wear a little make-up?". If you think she'll say no to that to tell her exactly what kind of make-up you want to wear. Most moms wont let their daughters wear too much, so just say lipgloss (for sure) and maybe a little mascara. Just have you and your mom try to decide a good amount of make-up (if any) and start from there. as you get older you'll probably get to wear more.

Well, you can always ask your mom to wear make up. If that doesn't work then don't go to the begging stage. Go to the muture stage. Prove a point. Dont whine or beg, say if Im old enough to do this_________(name something) Why am i not old enough to wear make up. And just keep makeing a list. But If that doesn't work then ask your mom when you are old enough to wear make up.

wearing makeup is not that big of a deal. Unless your mom is extremely conservative... chances are she won't mind. Start out slowly a little eyliner and mascara with lipgloss eventually work your way up to eyes shadow and foundation. This is a stupid saying but o welll... the point of makeup is to make it like you aren't wearing any so wear light nuetral matching tones and go very easily a little bit goes a long way. As of when to start wearing it i'd say whenver you want to! Have fun with it!!

If you want to start to wear makeup, you need to go really natural- no blue eyeshadow or outrageous colors. I'd go for a fresher, dewey look.....just wear a little lip gloss and a bit of blush, and if you really want to go with a tan eyeshadow. Just ask your mom if she will get you some lip gloss, and at the store ask her if you can get some eyeshadow or whatever you want. If she doesn't think it's the right time to start wearing makeup, then I would try again when you are 15-16.

i'm almost 14 and i dont wear makeup.
i have never really felt the need to wear makeup
exept for some heavy mascara and eyeliner and brown eye shadow,
but if you do, make sure you get the right color or it'll look really bad, and never put on to much, and if its not exactly youre skin color, make sure you do it on your neck too, or your face will be one color and youre neck will be a different color.

hey, im 13 2! umm well i wear make-up and my mom sorta minded the first 1week or so, but she got used to it. It depends on what kind of make-up you want to wear. like loud make-up that you wear for stage, she would really mind. but i wear neutral colors so its not too much. i would suggest wearing neutral because then your mom won't mind that much. she'll just have to realize thta your growing up! and if you don't feel comfortable now, then try when your 14 or 15 if you want to take your time! hope i helped!

instead of making make-up into a complicated things, just wear a little bit of cute makeup that goes a long way. i would just recommend an eye shadow and a lip color.. nothing more really. you don't want to get into the habit of wearing foundation, because that can lead to breaking out and then you were more foundation to cover it up. keep it simple, pretty and natural!

aww.. i think you should just casually ask your mom. you dont need all that crazy complex stuff like powder..foundation.. and mascara. your probably going to start off with basics. a little eyeliner and lipgloss. it shouldnt be a big deal. just tell her you only want a little makeup. then start wearing more as you get older = )

hmm..i'd wait really. i mean if you wanna wear make up now talk about it with your mom. say you're starting to get into it and if she can help you out on what to buy. maybe start w/ eye makeup. eyeliner, eyeshadow, mascara, etc. maybe lipgloss er something. but remember that you don't have to. i rarely wear make up. only sometimes. your mom will understand though. personally i think people look better without it, but whatever you wanna do. i think 13 is a good age to start wearing makeup though. you should start whenever you're comfortable.

First just ask your mom about it. I mean you dont need foundation, powder, bronzers and all that stuff right now. Its not nessesary. Ask her if you can just wear a little. Some eyeshadow, eyeliner if you want, mascara and lipgloss would be just fine! They wont make you look like you have tons of make-up on. Its just a natrual look. If she doesnt let you then just wait until you are 14 or 15. I started wearing make up since I was 3! I loved it and I still do! Good luck hun!

just when your at a grocery store just be like hey mom so and so(like a friend) is wearing this really cool eye shadow do you think i could get something like it and try it. or just ask your mom if you can try some of hers.
