I dont know what to do! But my asthma has been really bad latley! I am having to get up in the middle of the night to take my fast acting inhaler. I am a gymnastics coach and am having to call off work or just sit there, I cant really spot my girls well. The phisical activity makes it extremley worse. I went to the doctor and he said that I had broncitus. I was on medicine for it and took all of it that was like 6 weeks ago. I called my doctor back and he told me that there wasnt anything I could do. Any suggestions? I cant hardly do anything! There has got to be something to do. Please help and something fast!! I really need to get back to work so I can get my paycheck! (link)

You may indeed have bronchitis but it is triggering
your asthma. I am shocked that your doctor just blew
it off like that. He should have had you in for a breathing treatment at least. Maybe even changed the inhaler you use to something a little stronger.
I suggest you find another doctor who is more concerned about your health. If it gets really bad
go the emergency room. :)

well this is kind of a long story so I'll try to make it as short as i can.well i like this boy and this boy that i like is my best friend bother.I been liking him for like almost 3 months,well im a freshman and he in the 10th grade.Anyways like a while back when i first started liking him i wanted to ask him out but i decided to wait awhile.Then like he found i that i like him and a course everything was going out great he didnt much say anything about it, i mean like at times he talk to me and stuff. And what i was trying to do was get him to like me back(and by the way he is very flirty like).So after awhile i decided to ask him out and like the next week after, i found out that he liked someone else.So now him and the girl talk and stuff but i dont think they go out.And i been hearing many different things from my friends like, they aint gonna get together and all that stuff.And my other friend is like they might so right now i dont know what to do.I really really like this guy and i want him t feel the same way.So my question is how do you get a guy when you know there's another girl after him.And i dont want to start no drama or nothing i just want him before the other girl gets him.

If he likes another girl you may have to wait for him to get over it. Just because he likes her doesn't mean she feels the same way.
Don't let it get you down. He must like you some or he would have told you he isn't interested at all.

Ok so I just started a new high school this week and already I have problems with a girl. At first when I first met her she was nice and ok but now I'm starting to notice another side of her which I don't really like. She seems to be drifting away from me and only comes to me when she doesn't have any1 to talk to BASICLLY SHE'S USING ME and i already confronted her about it today and she just didn't say anything and stood quiet. I really don't want any problems with anyone does any one know what I can do? (link)

If you like her and get along with her I don't see any reason you can't stay friends. You know what she is like and she knows you know since you talked to her about it. It could be a good thing and she could
end up being the best friends you ever had! So keep letting her know you won't be used and see if things work out. :)

Yesterday I wasn't thinking, and my windshield on my car and my windows were dirty. However, I didn't have enough time to wash my car, so I got a bottle of Windex and cleaned the windows. I also got a few spots of bird crap off the hood of my car with the Windex. Afterward my mom was like, "You used Windex on your car?" which worries me. Is Windex going to eat away at my paint job (white)? What do I need to do? Thank you all! (link)

I did some looking and I read a couple of times that it may cause eventual degradation to the paint. So
using it the one time probably won't cause harm, just don't make a habit of it. :)

i'm 17, and i think i'm pregnant. i have a lot of symptoms of pregnancy. swollen, tender breasts. fatigue. aches, pains, and cramps. cravings. also, my vagina is pretty swollen, and i don't know, it's just weird. i'm also sick. i don't think it's pms because i've been like this for a week and i still have a week and a half until my next period. i'm on birth control, but we don't use condoms. i just want to know what the chances are. If you're on birth control you are probably not pregnant. Not using a condom makes it very easy for you to get a sexually transmitted disease but not using one while on the pill doesn't mean you are pregnant.

Missing your period is a major sign and you haven't missed one yet. You would probably not have any of these symptoms right away even if you were. Most are not signs at all. Aches, pains, cramps are not signs of pregnancy. I've never heard of pregnancy causing a swollen vagina. It does sound as if you should seek medical treatment since it has been going on for a week.

okay so i'm 15/f and i live in new jersey. My bf who i've had sex with once so far is 20. I don't want to hear about how i shouldn't be dating someone older then me b/c i love him, and yes i do know what love means. My question is he doesn't what to have sex any more cuz he thinks its illegal. What if i give consent, doesn't that make it fine? and if it is illegal, what is the punishment? (link)

Age of consent in New Jersey is 16. That means until you turn 16 the state of New Jersey considers you a minor (underage) and him an adult.
If it is found you are having sex with him (especially by a parent), he can be charged with statutory rape. Makes no difference if you consent or not, New Jersey says you are to young to consent.
He can go to jail. I don't know for how long. :)

Okay, yesterday I came on, and I was a moderator and it was all okay. Don't you have to have a 4.5 Rating or above to be a moderator, if so. I'm still okay, cause I have a 4.7, I come on everyday. I don't rate as much as I could. but I rate a Couple everyday.
My Question, Why did this happen? I wasn't banned either, obviously; Since I'm On here. And Do I have to wait for like Six weeks or whatever to become one again? If not how can I become one again. (link)

Looks like you were given a warning ban for inappropriate capitalizing. Even though the ban was just an hour warning ban, you still have to wait to be one again. Our L1 mods really need to know the Help/FAQ site rules and set an example for other users. :)

Is it just me or does it seem like since the "be the first to answer these" and "questions that might need more answers" boxes came up, people only answer questions from there, and it takes so much longer for you to get answers. I could be wrong.. but what do you think? Like it seems like less people actually click "random question" or "view questions" so you get less answers..and when you do get answers because your question got on the "be the first to answer these" list, it usually seems like the person just answered the question to be the first to answer it.. instead of them actually knowing the answer or being able to relate to the problem.. (I dont mean to critize anyone!! i promise!) i just wanted to know if anyone else is getting the same feeling.. (link)

Here is how it works for all who don't know. We had a real problem before the boxes with some questions not getting any answers at all. New questions would come on the site and shove the ones already on further and further back to page 10. Where nobody ever goes to look for questions!
So, we now approve questions 10 at a time for the "Be the first box" No other questions can come on site until those 10 get an answer.
Then they move to "need more answers box" where they get one more answer before being released. This insures each question gets at LEAST 2 answers. Hopefully more.
Right now there is a slowdown of people answering questions. At last look we were 2 days behind. So we need more people to answer more questions. If we were still just releasing all the questions most would get buried with no answers on the back pages.
I do believe if any one person just goes nuts and only answers first questions, DN will ask them to please allow others the chance to answer them.

I'm a tomboy and all the girls at my school wear the same types of clothes from the same types of stores. All the guys that I like went out with all of those girls. They liked me but wouldn't go out with me so I don't know if it's because of me being a tomboy or what. I mean I'm not a complete tomboy,I wear some of that stuff every now and then but not all the time,so I don't know if I should just be like those girls or what. Well,also I wasn't popular and they were,so maybe that's what it was. I know you're not supposed to change who you are but I don't know what to do. (link)

There's an artistic creation at the front of my church, like the outline of a human-looking creature (that I suspect is supposed to represent Jesus) raising his hands. Around the art-work, there's hundreds of stone-looking shapes surrounding this "man". It sort of looks like a shattered plate, that someone's tried to put together again, or like bricks surrounding this creature, if that makes sense?
And its inspired me, and I'd love to write something about it, for a class or just for myself, I don't know.. just kinda put it into a story, and maybe show it to the artist?
The problem is my lack in fantasy, where do I start this story? Do I start by explaining why he's holding up his hands (not that I know..) ? Or do I try to explain what the brick-looking shapes are supposed to be? Do I make it realistic? Or should I be writing is at if it's Jesus, holding up his hands to bless the people who walk in the Church?
I just don't know. I really want tow rite something great for once. And I want THIS to be what I write about.

If the sculptor is from your area maybe you could do a little interview with him/her. Then I would start with a bit about the sculptor first and what it meant to him. Follow up with what it means to you. :)

I just moved to a new city this summer and it's already the 4th week of school and I only made one friend, and she's only in one of my classes. I really suck at making friends and i'm shy and not the prettiest person in the world so i'm scared i'm never going make friends. A lot of the people here are really stuck up and they are way different from the people where I used to live. Me and and my friends had a really weird since of humor but the people here just aren't funny... I haven't met people that are similiar to my friends at all. I hate it so much that I come home crying a lot and can't eat barley at all. What should I do to feel better? (link)

Give it a little time. You will make new friends.
The thing you have to realize is they won't be like your other friends. Those friends aren't replaceable! But you can make friends with new people.
Just continue to be yourself. Sooner or later people
who are similar in personality will notice you. I know you say you're shy, but try talking to those around you in classes. Smile at people & basically LOOK friendly.
Just keep in mind that new friends will be different from the old ones. You might be disregarding some
because they are different from what your used to. :)

Well, I answered a question about a girl who wanted to meet someone she met online, in real life. I told her it was a bad idea, and I was rated a one. [I already reported abuse, because that seems entirely unfair.] Then, this morning when I logged onto my account, there's a question in my inbox that read, "You're a dumb cunt."
I was going to respond with something sarcastic, but I don't want whoever it is to rate me low again. What should I do? (link)

I changed your rating to a 4. I thought it was a very good answer. Exactly what I would have told her. I also gave her a short warning ban for ratings abuse and mean feedback.
The question in your inbox was from an unregistered user. It could be her but we have no way of knowing.:(
I will keep an eye on her though and if you get anything else please file a report so we can check on it. For this one just delete it. Not worth getting a ban for telling them off...though I know it is tempting!

Okay, so I was cooking homemade mashed patatoes for dinner tonight. I was boiling the butter and milk and the handle was out, like not behind the stove like it's supposed to be. I didn't think it was that big of a deal because it was going to take like a minute. Well, I'm a flipping retard. I accidentally knocked it over and the boiling milk and butter spilled on my hand. And it burns reallly bad. This happened over a half hour ago. I put it under cold water and it felt fine, but then a minute after I took it off the water, it burns again. Now I have ice on it because I got sick of getting up a millon times.
I was watching Degrassi last night, and the lady said hot water was better than cold. Is this true? What else can I do to help it stop burning?
