amarand answered Wednesday September 19 2007, 9:02 pm: No, eyes are pretty used to washing foreign objects and liquids out and unless the soap is really strong...like hydrogen peroxide strong..it shouldn't affect your eyesight. No matter how often it gets in your eyes..they will just keep expelling it and probably won't become damaged. There are many other things that do ruin your eyesight that you should be way more worried about...like staring at a computer screen for too long, sitting too close to a tv, and looking at the sun..so don't worry about the soap [ amarand's advice column | Ask amarand A Question ]
