ok this school year is gonna suck because i aint gonna be able to buy that many clothes for school...we are broke and my mom has to buy school clothes for 3 kids so i know its hard for her..and shes a single mom...i was just wondering if yall knew any ways that i could make some money to buy my school clothes...i am only 13 so i cant get a job...please help!!...thanks a lot

well you could get one new outfit for the first day of school then get clothes later in the year when they go on sale. i know some people get it all at once and overspend. little purchases will make it easier on your mom. you could try to re arrange pieces you already have to make new outfits too. just get creative!

I am a 16 year old girl, who loves to act and I love to preform in shows. I have done many shows but my problem is I am not a singer. To be honest, my voice is pretty awful, so I can only really get parts in non-musicals or just be in the chorus for musicals. This is fine with me, but I love singing so much I just wish to improve my voice a little. Now I am not asking for a transformation that will suddedenly land me the lead in a musical...I know that isn't realistic, but I would like to improve my voice. I do NOT want to have a voice teacher...I don't think my parents would spend money on that nor do I want to be that serious. Are there any other ways of improving my voice? Any tricks anyone knows? Also are there any websites that can help you for FREE? Also what would be a good broadway song to sing at an audition?...my voice is on the lower side (I cannot hit high notes). Thanks You!

"seasons of love" from rent or "for good" from wicked "english teacher" from bye bye birdie. theyre not high... get a few cds and lyrics and sing along to them. thats what i do b/c you cat get me to a voice teacher either. just keep singing to it all the time, turn up the volume a bit and sing it again. thats all i can really think of. breathe from your stomach, not your shoulders (they should be still at all times) try to mimic the artist and have the depth to your voice. i got recommended for musical theatre because my voice wasnt breath-y and "dinky". since you are a lower singer, you probably sing in your chest voice so you put power behind your notes if that makes any sense. hope this helps && good luck!

well from what ive heard, most bleed but if youve already broken your hymen you wont so dont freak out. some guys want it shaved others dont. i would ask the partner what they want...if you dont feel comfortable asking then you definatly shouldnt be having sex with them. new razor, shaving cream and lotion for afterwords. hope that helps!

well if you dont wanna do something that revolves around snow (after a while id get cranky personally) go glo bowling or to an indoor water park and have the girls sleepover and watch a summerish movie. heck, have a have a hawaii theme party in your basement! lol that would be so fun...in the middle of winter too! ok hope this helps!!

hey i learned this trick not too long ago. put foundation on your eyelids then put on the eyeliner and eyeshadow. interesting i know. i use maybelline "unstoppable". i think i got it a target so u can get it anywhere really. hope this helps!

My face always looks oily no matter what i do! I use Noxzema and sometimes Clearasil Ultra what can i do so my face isnt that oily looking?

first off, dont overwash...its bad! are you using a moisturizer? that helps, trust me it wont be adding oil, it will be giving your skin moisture so it wont have to create it on its own. i quickly read 2 of the answers...foundation and stuff like that will make you break out like crazyyy and it will end up looking oily if it doesnt automatically slide off...bad idea. go to any derm in the country and they will tell you the same thing. well, hope that my experience saves you from it!

i like the regina george idea lol but elle woods is cool too. you could try jessica simpson (actress if that counts) and carry around a can of tuna...chicken. hope that helps!

I love singing and dancing and acting and I'm actually quite good at it I'm 13 and Ilive in south west london just want to do something than involves singing like join a drama group or something but I don't really know I don't want to go into profecional singing I just want to be ocupied and use it as a hobby does anyone know any sites?

well i cant really give you a link to the best drama academy in west london but if your school has choirs or theatre, go for it!! i will tell you, if you are a younger student, you wont get lead everytime...you have to make your way up sometimes. just get involved at your school and have fun with it.

well school is starting up soon and i want to start wearing makeup. i havent worn any makeup before besies mascara. i need some tips on what colors and what i should where to get a natural look. i have dark brown eyes and hair, and semi tan skin. suggestions please?

holy mother of...same description as me. hahah ok natural as in "yeah im this flawless" or natural "i only wear lip gloss on good days" type? well for eyes, experiment with golds and browns. but dark on the bottom, light on top and "the other color" like gold or the darkest one on the corner. you could also try a veryy pale pink. wear mascara too. if your looking for foundation to make you look flawless, dont, i repeat DO NOT wear it often! it will make you break out like crazy no matter what anyone says!! make sure to put on moisturizer before you put anything wlse on fyi. ok back to basics, a nice rosey pink blush should do the trick just put on just enough to give you a pretty color flush. i used the sonia kashuk line at target... she usually has kits in cordination colors so look there for some stuff & bonne bell has eye shadow compacts that are matching to. (look for brown!) ok have fun, hope you look *fab* for school!

I'm 13/f. I just discovered that the person I have had a huge crush on for two years (he's really cool; the smartest kid in the grade and he's really nice and he's my only guy friend) doesn't like me back. I feel awful. He doesn't know. Is there anything I can do? How can I deal with this? Should I try to stop liking him and move on? Please I know that a 13-year-old's problems aren't as important to you as an older person, but still it would be really really nice if someone could help me.

aww, yes they are important! i had a situation like this when i was 13. its ok, dont put all your self-worth into whether he likes you back or not. really, you still have time. it may be that he really isnt into girls yet (ive met 15 yr. olds that are this way) or doesnt want to have a gf. its really ok, you'll find someone else, trust me! try to move on...it will take time but it will be worth it. maybe someday when your older (i sound like a parent, im sorry!) you guys can get together. keep him as a friend tho, guy friends are better than bfs, seriously! keep ya head up!

how do i get more guys to be my friends?? i have like none i im not sure if any boy would be my friend i mean ya i do hang out with the popular group or whatever you wnt to call them but they never put me in thier profiles and like i feel left out like if someone hangs out with someone for one night they are automatically their friend but unlike me i take a whole year

well to be friends with guys (or become their friend) you have to really understand them &put up with their immaturity at times. be nice, laugh with them, dont be easily grossed out. guys will be guys! for the profile things, dont take it personally. the other people they put in there are probably people they like more than frineds anyway. oh and take it from me, my experience was that the popular guys were jerks and the not-so-popular ones were some of the nicest people i have ever met so give some of them a chance. just keep it in mind, most of my friends are guys. hope this helps!

Although I am supposed to go out with him I am really scared because when my mum will pick me up if she sees him, that she will abandon me from seeing him. Can you take aerosols (i.e. body spray and spray deo) on planes, either in hand luggage or in your suitcase?

you could almost anything in a suitcase that is not a carry on (pocketknives, ect.) so yes. for a carry on, i dont think its against any regulations from what ive seen. theres a bath and body @ the airport i go to and people often shop there b4 they go on planes so i highly doubt you cant. if you still want proof, there should be a number on you ticket that you can call for questions concerning your flight. hope this helps!

Hey, I'm taking AP Biology next school year, and the book is $92.00 in my high school office. I've searched a little bit online, but I can't find a cheaper price anywhere. I'm seventeen and I'd like to get a job, but I am clueless on some places to apply. My previous job was VERY stressful, so I want a job where I'm not under a lot of pressure. I don't want your typical teen job (food places/restaurants, grocery stores, or movies.) Clothing stores, little shops, and tanning salons are more of the kind of job I want. Office jobs wouldn't be too bad either. Any ideas on where else I should look into?
