Yes this is a random weirdo QUESTION!
Already i might seem like a COMPLETE LAME for asking this.. im not a real computer person at all.. i only get on it to help people on this site or to do homework.. i wanted to know what is XANGA everybody mentions it on this site and i have no freakin clue what it is.. so if you explain to me ill be happy to rate high.. loves ya!

xanga is an online journal. is pretty cool because you can make your page whichever way you want, you can talk about yourself, join groups of people that have the same interests as you, leave comments on other people's entries and even make some friends. you can post pictures, have music, etc. go to xanga.com and make a user name! you never know, you might like it :)

Ok, xanga is like an online journal.
Go to
www.xanga.com
and then where it says username, and password,and sign in under it says get a Xanga site, and push it. Come up w/ a username, password, ect. If you get one, get a layout. Put the layout under Look and Feel
and put it in Custom Module.
Everytime you sign in, and you're at you're page, push New Weblog Entry. There you put what you want.

Well xanga is like a place where you can write down your feelings. basically a journal or diary.
Mostly people write what they did for the day or what they have done that week. Alot of people just use it to put up pictures of themselfs. Others use it just to put up pretty icons. You can actually use it for many things. So if you want to get it you should its pretty fun. It's free so dont worry. Just go to

xanga is kind of like a diary... you can write stuff in it... but its not private, so its open for anybody to read, so i suggest if you end up making one, dont put important stuff on there that you dont want certain people to find out...its really fun, i personally think... but its just like a diary, but u can decorate it, like with differnet layouts (backgrounds) and you can add music to it and put on icons... hope i helped..

Xanga is a community of online diaries and journals. It's just a site for online blogging and such. Ever heard of Live Journal or Greatest Journal? Well, it's pretty much the same thing but with different features and such.
