well if you are looking for a job, and have some neighbors with young kids, you could try and babysit, or you could walk their dogs, work on their lawn, theres so many jobs you can do, w/o having to leave your neighborhood, you just have to ask around... otherwise, if youre just lookin for places to buy clothes, tj maxx, marshalls, ross, old navy, gap, etc... they all have clothes for pretty cheap, plus theyre cute on top of that, and preppy! or if youre not afraid to be unique, you could mix and match your clothes from last year.... like wear one long sleeved shirt with short sleeved over it.. theres so many styles you can make up one ur own, that i honestly have to admit are really cute!! i hope i helped, if you need anymore advice feel free to ask! rate if you'd like! thanks!! =D ]
.. hmm since you cant get a job... i think i have some ideas. I wont say a lemonade stand .. (laugh out loud) it wouldnt let me type it .. anyways you could have a lemonade stande haha.. or

i know clothes aren't cheap. i think the best place for clothes for a reasonable price is at JC Penny. if you don't have a store near you they're online too. hope i could help

There's really not much a 13 year old can do, except for babysitting and odd jobs for neighbors. Put up flyers for babysitting. Ask your neighbors if they need any help with gardening, or mowing the lawn. If you don't spend everything you make, you can definitely make a lot of money this way.
Definitely check out TJ Maxx and Marshalls for clothes. At these stores, shirts and jeans that would normally be very expensive are only between $10-$20. ]
How about babysitting.. parents are always lookin for babysitters to get away from kids.. maybe try babysitting for a family member first.. ♥ Dez ]
well you could get one new outfit for the first day of school then get clothes later in the year when they go on sale. i know some people get it all at once and overspend. little purchases will make it easier on your mom. you could try to re arrange pieces you already have to make new outfits too. just get creative! <3 ]
well to make money try to babysit..print out flyers & leave them in peoples mailboxes & hang them up.
good stores that aren't very expensive:
1. Marshalls

2. T.J. Maxx [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)
(the first 2 stores both carry clothes from abercrombie, express, j crew, rampage & LOTS of other brands...only cheaper)

Hmmmm....why do "preppy" clothes have to be expensive?? All I can tell you is to wait for stores have sales, also you can't get hung up on names and you're gonna have to shop in the juinior's section at department stores where they have jeans for $25-35$ vs. $45-$60!! Also, you need to go to thrift shops...there is some great stuff in there whatever you click iz.
Money suggestions, try a paper route, bake sale, yard sale or house sitting while vactioners are away.
Good luck for your school year not to suck! ]
